Smartphones blackBerry deleted somehow my email put in place

received an email from bberry saying I need to verify my password by e-mail, entered in the Setup program, click on send and upward jumped out a window to a new downloadable update. I clicked it but the bberry frozen, so I took out the battery - and now, there's only an icon for e-mail put in place, but not on next page.  There is no way to change the password on the acct, so no e-mail is po come I followed the directions in a cat of torch on a similar problem and downloaded the software to my computer and tried to update this way. spend 45 minutes for an update that got a message to say 'this blackberry is not compatible' - which does not any sense. I tried to register the blackberry online email, but it says html is not supported. am.

It seems that the issue may have been resolved successfully, I opened the e-mail setup application! It seems to have updated again, they have been ironed out I hope that the problem yay!

No, I don't mean remove the physical device.

My company (finally) made me a Blackberry (Bold 9650) so I could learn to do things like it backup, restore and so immediately and (better) to provide technical support for others.

So, I would like to know:

    1. how to back up my Blackberry?

I have e-mails, contacts and appointments calendar and your Internet favorites.

Would I need (as I believe...) to connect the device to a computer via a USB cable and somehow save these items on the computer?

Is it a synchronization for this software?

    2 restoration

I guess I want to reverse the process above.

    3 secure wipe

Some time ago, in another section, I was told that it would probably be necessary, if a Blackberry into a movement of one BES/BPS server to another, to wipe the device and then turn it back on.

Wipe the unit would, I guess, delete the personal data, hence the master back to the top and restore operations.

What a wipe erases exactly (and what don't we not delete)?

    4. What is (re) activation after a wipe?

Wiping the Blackberry does include eliminating the activation information (I guess for that), it seems that I have to reactivate with my ISP (Verizon, in my case), correct?

Now, I won't do this 3 times a week, every week, but can I reactivate my Blackberry as I want? I just call Verizon like I did at the beginning?

    Hello

Yes, the subject line is a little off the mark! I'm afraid that some people may not even venture into your thread accordingly. However...

Hmmm... I'm not sure on the migration of one BES to the other, but I know that a WIPE has no effect on the it policy. I don't know if the migration to an another BES replaces the policy of IT or not. Nevertheless:

Reactivation as with the carrier. For the Association, is a lack of prejudice no-fault to reactivate with them. Simply dial * 228 and select Option 1 (then again and select Option 2). You don't really have to call and talk to them because your BB is fully registered on their network the first time you activate... on CDMA networks, there is much more "hardcoded" into the network (where the greatest difficulty taking CDMA devices and use them on another CDMA network).

    I hope this helps!

  • Smartphones blackBerry 8320 curve: no Email icon

I have no e-mail icon (the little envelope with the red arrow on it).  I've only owned the phone for a week.  I hit the button menu and select the option "Show all" and 2 faded icons appeared - 'New message' and 'saved Messages '.  I rose the balckberry email all together through my cellular service provider, but I don't see the app on my phone to put in place.  Any suggestions?  TIA!

    Hello

Your email is not the installer such as advised by the message "no messages service is configured.

Even if you said as the carrier put it-, it is not.

You can go to the e-mail settings icon and create your own account, etc. and do it there, or you can call your carrier and get them to do...

Your call (but I'd do it myself through the e-mail settings icon).

  • BlackBerry Q10 need help with putting in place an E-Mail on my BlackBerry Q - 10

This is my first cell phone 'no basis', so I'm fighting in the implementation (there are some things that just are not covered at all in online user manual). The Q-10 apparently BlackBerry not the screen full of 'dial' e-mail unless your e-mail account is configured. The e-mail account, I have, what I have on my desktop computer; and because I'm so, so many emails without importance on it every day, I won't be getting all these emails on my cell phone (but I "don't" want to access on my cell for ALL options and electronic screens). Is there a way I can use my existing desktop computer e-mail address to set up the e-mail account on my Q-10 of BlackBerry, but somehow turn at 'incoming' e-mail on mobile phone off completely (so I only get emails on my computer)? In addition, which means when he asks if I want to "synchronize" my emails? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Smartphones blackBerry deleted email or SMS

By mistake I deleted an e-mail/SMS.  Does anyone know how can I get it back?  Is this possible?

SMS are managed by your carrier. She would need a court order to get their share, but SMS are supposed to be stored on their servers for a limited time. If you have made a backup of your device before deletion, you could restore the SMS database in your BB.

E-mail? Watch on your mail server, if she was a POP or such. Not possible if the email is your address @blackberry.net.

  • BlackBerry smartphone email put in place

I just bought the "BOLD" in the United Kingdom like it but!  I am with 02 to the United Kingdom and have a MAC!  First problem with the phone is I don't see the possibility to implement via the company's server - we do not have a company server... The phone's Menu Option does not correspond with the manual.

Second problem is to get the synchronization schedule... .this which should I use?

    Any suggestions

Looks like a BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) has not been implemented.
Call 202 to talk to the customer service and make sure that its on your account.

2nd thing is to make a batterypull, remove the battery, give him 5 sec and restart the machine,

your signal should be uppercase, it's to say, EDGE, GPRS, 3G not edge, gprs, gsm

If this is the case, it means your a BIS account and you should have the service books pushed to your handset... on the "BOLD" icon will show as configuration by email click n follow the instructions.

  • BlackBerry smartphone email put in place going in circles

I just installed the latest operating system for my Torch 9800 (6.0 Bundle 2647).  I lost all my passwords and e-mail accounts.  No problem, right?  Just go to settings, select e-mail accounts and add all my accounts back.

Here's the problem: when I go to Setup there are 2 envelope icons who say 'e-mail accounts' where there is only 1.  When I click on one of them it takes me to the "select the type of e-mail account type:"

Here we have 2 options: Internet e-mail account or business account

When I click on Internet e-mail account , he brings me RIGHT to the installation, so I select "e-mail accounts" again, then on Internet e-mail account and my phone goes more directly for the installation program. It goes in circles and just around and never gives me the opportunity to actually ADD an e-mail account.  Configuration to select the type and the rear right of the installation.

I took the battery nothing works.

Does anyone else have this problem?  Is it possible to solve?

And before you tell me I should have backed up my phone, I know. I know. I didn't

I was on the phone with my provider for an hour and the woman was beautiful, but she couldn't make a * Bleep * thing for me.  The phone glitch occurs again, but it reset my blackberry site service provider password so that I can log in and check my email remotely from my PC accounts.  It worked, but I'll have to add all the e-mail addresses of my ISP blackberry Web site in the future because my icon "e-mail accounts" just didn't do anything... it's good, as long as my emails are sent to my phone.

  • Smartphones blackBerry deleting old emails

    Hello!

Someone out there will know the answer to this.

I recently had to remove an e-mail address, and then reinstall it. Unfortunately, before I removed it, I forgot to highlight all my email as 'read '.

After removing and reninstalled the email address, rather than to have an empty Inbox and 0 unread emails, I have an empty Inbox and 41 emails not read. It is of course always store the old email somewhere or pick up the unread number somewhere but I can't work where.

Could someone post or PIN me with a solution to this. I know someone out there has done this at some point!

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

We can answer here, in this forum.

Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

    Try these options:
    * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
    Messages > saved Messages
Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
    * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
    * Clean and reload your OS.

You can update your profile here to provide your name and model carrier of BlackBerry device, so that when you have a question, what information should be asked from the start. Click my settings > personal information and then SAVE at the bottom of the page.

I have since done a trawl here and found my way in through the browser to www.mobile.blackberry.com so thanks to one who has implemented

  • Smartphones blackBerry lost all my emails and now I can't respond to most recent emails

OK, I know for a fact that we are not in the month of April, so I was not stupid Rascal by prank in April. I connected my phone on the charger, last night, as I do on a daily basis and this morning I wake up all of my missing emails and when I want to answer some emails, all I have for the options are:

    Switch App

    Save as draft

    Full menu

I went into options and my emails are set to be deleted after 30 days, but he was not more than 2 weeks because I opted for the bb smartphone data package... Plan of the family at & T 10 GB.

The only thing I can think off the fact that we spend time to 1 hour before but that sounds extremely illogical to me.

    I'm on a "BOLD" worm 7.1.0 package 9900 2543

I read here that my notebook of maintenance may be corrupt, but only service CMIME book that I find is for 1 e-mail account (on 4) and when I delete it and restore then, nothing happened.

I did the old disconnect the battery to reset the bb, but has not as well.

Again, I have not changed, edited anything on my email accounts because I made them at the beginning. The only thing that I remember I did was I plugged the phone into the charger once and about 5 minutes later I unplug the unit to use, 10 to 15 minutes later, I plugged it upward and fell asleep, but once again... I doubt seriously that this Jack my entire email settings.

Sorry for the long rant, I try to be as careful as I can. Lose my email isn't a big deal since I have them on my outlook Inbox, but it becomes a bit boring that I lost on my device and not able to answer them.

Thanks and sorry if this has been posted before, none of the answers I found helped me personally.

EDIT: I just went to Thunderbird and I myself sent a test email to all email accounts that I have on my BB, they all came immediately but I have been unable to answer one of them. I wonder if remove/uninstall accounts emails that I have on my BB and a fresh install would solve the problem.

Still, I'd like to know what happened and why he has done it well.

It seems that I was stuck trying to answer an email that came in before I made any changes and why I thought that it did not work.

After some additional testing, I am now sure that everything I did worked, and Yes, I wait for all future emails on registration and activation before you pull the battery.

I'm still a little angry that I have to wait until tomorrow to meet this customer of my outlook at the office but happy that I had my email working again... Although why is past will be nag at me for a few more days lol.

    Thanks again for your help.
