Smartphones blackBerry my curve LED flashes at each stop of color and custom

Hello

My blackberry curve LED started to blink all the colors without reason? it flashes permanently yellow, green, blue, red, orange, pink and purple very quickly, I deleted all LED applications I had downloaded and turned off all notifications of LED. Ive tried to turn the phone market and the flashing soon revived. It does not stop when you press the end call button but soon starts again.

I have no message etc waiting to open and my batteries then why is this? its driving me crazy and also to drain my battery very quickly, please help!

Thank you

Hi georgia_winder,

Welcome to the BB community...

It's a strange thing to happen... If you have uninstalled the applications related to the LED light flashes, this shouldn't happen...

U have uninstalled the applications correctly and did a restart after...?

Anyway, when your BB is enabled, just pull on your battery (battery pull reboot)... keep a few minutes new n reinsert the battery n let your BB restart... now, flashing of the LED should not recur...

If it happens again, I wud suggest you reinstall the operating system...

NB: take a backup b4 reinstalling the operating system.

From your home screen, click on the speaker icon in the upper left corner, under the date.  In the pop-up window, select change sounds and alerts.  Click on sounds for the selected profile.  Click on Messages - authors of notifications.  Click on your e-mail and Visual alerts (LED), change to off.  Press menu, and select Save.

Hi all... I have a problem with this phone...

This summer, I bought two Blackberry 9300 Curve from the United Kingdom. First phone of "O2", following a network of '3 '. Everything is good, now I have OS 6.0.0.380, when I'll try uprade '3' network BB I have problem. I can't upgrade, I know not why, me, my BB from '3' network have no updates, but my next BB 'O2' network have write...

Please do not use foul language.

Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below. Apparently '3' is not from the same upgrade as O2.

See the link below to download and follow the simple installation instructions to install 6.0.0.668 in your 9300 OS.

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=D840CC5D906C3E9C84374C8919D2...

    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

Note: Some users may be concerned they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear. Please read more information about it here: http://www.port3101.org/power-users/296-blackberry-os-upgrade-including-betas-myths-dispelled.html

I'm relatively new to the BB experience. Only problem I found is that when you do a back up, I get an error. Director of office gives me no further information on what is the problem. Try to do this, first of all.

    1. on your BlackBerry, open the browser > Menu > Options > Cache operations and delete the browser's cache.

    2. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Then try a backup and let us know.

  • BB of Smartphones blackBerry 8520 curve (does not start)

Hi, I have a prob my girls curve 8520 just died Monday afternoon. She says he died as "the battery was flat," she says. Now, it does not come on, he wants, but he isn't. We have replaced the batteries, battery on a laptop and one wall loaded - the battery has been out for 12 hrs - sim card removed and replaced - I think is broken now well if I put the battery in, the red LED lights up, tha screen starts, then dies, then the LED lights, screen insiders, dies, LED etc. If the phone and then gets to the left (if all goes well to start eventually) continues the sequence mentioned above. But, the phone gets hot, as if to overheat. I have the idea that this overheating is like a short circuit on a car battery. At the moment, I decided to ask for help before you go out and buy a new phone. Is there a solution to this? Thank you

OK, don't forget to read and try the instructions I posted above for a device that does not connect.

  • Smartphones blackBerry 8900 curve

    Hello

I plan to buy a Smartphone. Still undecided between a Blackberry Curve 8900 and a Nokia E71X. I have a few questions:

    1. Not to mention that voice dialing, can I use my voice to other duties (provide GPS voice instructions to find an address, etc..)?
    2. When you use the desktop application, in addition to using the USB connection, I can connect the 8900 using Bluetooth or WiFi, for synchronization?
    3. The 8900 can be attached (using it as a wireless modem to connect my laptop to the Internet)?
    4. The home screen can be customized (can change icons, shortcuts, the list of applications, etc.)?
    5. The screen can change between Portrait and landscape?
    6. The GPS is a complete recommended standalone GPS, or it relies on wireless service (for example, ATT charges $10/month for the GPS service, called A - GPS)? What I mean is that I have to pay for this service, or can GPS works without him?
    7. What is the warranty for the 8900?
    8. Is the 3 8900?
    1. I'm not aware of the use of the voice to give GPS instructions. You can use voice dialing, which is where you can talk to the someone name in the address book and BlackBerry will call this number
    2. You can connect via Bluetooth and USb cable
    3. Yes. Although with some companies you need monthly extra payan to attach
      http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB05196
    4. You can change the theme or download themes of the device to change the appearance of the icon. You can hide the icons that you don't want anymore.
    5. In my view, that this feature is available on the storm.
    6. You do not have to pay for the GPS. If you get a BlackBerry data plan then it comes with data unlimited, so you do not download charged to use the data. There are a few good GPS programs that offer turn-by-turn directions

    7. I believe it is a guarantee of 1 year, with a 30 days money back guarantee if you buy from your carrier

    8. I think that the device only connects to the EDGE network, not 3 G
