Smartphones blackBerry unable to backup (Options memory cleaner): database backup error

Hi all!

I need help.  I'm trying to make a backup of my "BOLD", but when the procedure happens to Options cleaner memory, the process stops and I get the error "Error backup database".

All the ideas from the pros?

Thank you!
Dan

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Cleaner memory in my opinion is misnamed and abusively.

The cleaner memory formats a Government on the memory wipe. He won't

improve or move memory back and more quickly to the BB. Therefore, I completely

stopped using it and it was not in my last update.

Try to turn the option off, battery pull, then run a backup.

IF it doesn't go away, I'll be back with right clear procedure of database.

Thank you

No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.
Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

  • Smartphones blackBerry for software update option is not available

I bought a blackberry bold 9900 last year.  I want to update the software. When I go to options---> device I don't see an option like 'software update' which is there in other models. I want to know is - not just in my handsets or other "BOLD" 9900 s as well.

I get what you're saying here. But what exactly my problem is that I don't have the option that checks for updates. In other models when you choose
Menu--> options--> device there is a link/option that reads "software updates". I have that in my device. I think that it is incorporated and has nothing to with the carrier. Can you help me with this, please?

    Thank you very much

There are parameters with the backup software Desktop to allow you as well the support of backup files.

You can also use Media Sync in the Desktop Software to sync your media files on your PC.

And you can do it manually by just drag / drop multimedia files of the press card to the PC with activated on press card mass storage Mode.

    1. go to Options > Media Card
(some themes or BlackBerrys can call this ' settings > Media Card ")

    2. check the following parameters (if they are that way, then changes according to the following:)
    (a) media card Support: on
    (b) mass storage Mode Support: on
    (c) auto Enable mass storage: Yes

    3. save the settings and exit

  • Images of Smartphones blackBerry will not appear on the BB + file system error

    So, I have two problems:

    (1) I went in my 'images' on my Blackberry and there is no picture pictures says * no. *, but when I plugged my BB to my PC and clicked on the pictures folder, I can see all my photos. How is it?

    (2) I can't save a photo on my BB. When I choose 'Save', nothing happens, keeps saying "File system error", sometimes it is said that there is already a file with the same name and when I try to change and choose Save nothing happens.

Another problem, I just discovered: when I take a picture, I can't delete it later, I get "picture cannot be deleted.

    * I don't have a MicroSD card in my BB.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • Unable to backup error (0 x 81000037)

    Jim

System Mechanic and Incredimail are software that I would not be installed on any computer under my control. System Mechanic could be the cause of your current problem. IncrediMail is unwanted software that results in poor system performance. To uninstall, select Start, Control Panel, programs and features, place the cursor on the software to uninstall, right click and select uninstall in the menu dropdown. Restart your computer.

How many antivirus products are installed? You have Microsoft Security Essentials and Norton?

Had to set up a different account information lost hotmail to grab the latest. Yes, incredimail is trash and thought that I had removed it. I had some problems with sys mechanic and did not withdraw it but don't use it guess I'll remove it. Only anti-virus supposedly now the system is Microsoft, but Norton is like an itch that is never better get rid of it completely, but he took 2 +/-years ago.

  • Smartphones blackBerry freeze / hang screen - Curve 8900

Hi, I have a Curve 8900 which works fine since I bought it 3 years ago. Recently, the screeen began to crash and freeze and its driving me crazy! The usual routine to take out the battery when the unit is on solves the problem temporarily, but then after a short while the problem comes back... Please help... I have zero apps on the device. I have put some photos on the device recently but the memory card still shows 75% of free space! Thank you very much.

The first thing I recommend is to check what I said in my first reply you above... Make sure you have a solid backup. Given what you describe, your situation may worsen, and data loss is without a doubt a high risk to you now.

Assuming you're all good in this regard, then then I recommend a full WIPE on the device:

    • B14058 How to delete all data and applications in the smartphone BlackBerry using the security option wipe

But before you do anything about restoring data or reinstallation of applications, make sure that the problem re-no appears not at 100%. If it is not the case, then you can restore/reinstall. But if so, then more drastic measures are needed, starting with a refill of BONE.

At the top of each forum device, there should be some 'sticky' threads dealing with the level of the OS available for many models. If they understand your model, please use those as a reference as you go along. Otherwise, you will have to dig through the download portal official for packages of OS for your model:

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Don't forget that you remove, since your PC, any other BB OS devices as packages with more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try this procedure might limit the specific causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • Disk Cleanup is not showing me the ability to clean the system error memory dump files

Hello. When I run the disk cleanup utility in Vista, it does not show the option of cleaning the system error memory dump files. It is a very serious problem. I had to delete files that I really wanted to keep, because I thought they were taking too much space. He did not make a particle of difference. I have only two GB on my C drive now. How to fix this problem?

    Kim

You must use the scroll bar on the right disk cleanup in the window that appears after checking for space to scroll to check the boxes before these items.

Deleting the less important system restore points allows you to earn useful free disk space.

A better program of disk cleanup is cCleaner. Delete System Restore points may be important if you have little free disk space. The ability to delete them is one of the tools options. You can selectively remove those created in less important moments.

cCleaner also comes with a registry tool. Do not use this tool as any registry cleaner could lead to the creation of very difficult to resolve system errors.
