Smartphones blackBerry voicemail a DIALING PAUSE

PLEASE SOMEONE!
If I ever need someones help here, I really need now worse than nothing... Sick child to the hospital and the voicemail probs.

When I press and hold the number 1 at the speed of voice dialing, he composed so I see a "pause of 3 seconds" on my screen. The automated lady comes as always "you have a new message"... After that I don't hear anything, but these simple little beeps 2 seconds apart, and I can't do anything else in my voicemail. Nothing... I can't delete THE new message I ever here or access my voice mail options. So I just hang up. In any case its been very eventful, sick little girl to the hospital and I don't get my voicemail...

Help, please
Thank you for your time

Hello huntmarv,

The only thing that jumps out to me here check your voice mail access number. I am not sure which phone you have, but you can find it on 5.0 phones via options > voicemail > access number. You can ensure that the exact number and has no breaks / additional numbers added at the end.

EDIT: Access number is located at the same place in 6.0 so it seems. I also wanted to add that this issue will NOT be your phone number. It of a number provided by your operator and seems correct, sounds like you have a few inserted breaks.

Hope this helps,

Hi, I set my sms, mms, email notification sounds. Everything works except the voice box, when I get a voice message, he said: I have a text instead of the tone I set to it. I pull the battery it again. I got the blackberry pearl and I changed it to a blackberry curve thinking that this would change the problem. I used different sounds still nothing. My carrier is verizon. So I don't know when I have a voicemail. I Wen to the alert Messenger profiles and changed the ringtone so much, he has always used the sms ringtone. Please help someone, its makes me nutt.thanx

Your voicemail alerts will come by SMS. You cannot change that, he is sent by your operator.

Changing of the Pearl to the curve will not change it no more. You can not. It's SMS messages - so your SMS alert is the same alert for voicemail.

  • Help of Smartphones blackBerry Voicemail

How can I save the voicemails stored? is it a back up with bb Office?

It depends on which service you are using for the voicemail... O2, the messages are not on your device, but on their servers. You must contact O2.

  • Smartphones blackBerry Voicemail message

How can I change my voicemail message? Is it possible to use a pre-recorded .wav as a voice message file? If this is the case, how? Thank you very much. Bill

Voicemail is completely controlled on the end of the carrier. If you call to check your voicemail it should be an option to change it. I don't think that any carrier would load a WAV on them so that you can use it as a voice message.

  • Smartphones blackBerry Voicemail notification

New to BB.  My old Motorola would periodically be "beep" after a virtual machine has been left.  The tone continued until I hit a button.  Ideal for when you left your phone alone for a while, and on his return get an audio reminder you have VM.  After a lot of technical support calls it seems that the Pearl is capable of is a time audio notification of computer virtual.  If you're not the phone when this happens again, you're out of luck.  I know there is an icon on the screen that shows the VM, but when you are envolved in other activities, it is nice to have the phone tap you on the shoulder.  Hard to believe that my old Motorola out-has my new Pearl.  Am I missing something?

You may need to get a third party application for alerts (such as BlackBerry alerts) for continuous alerts for messages and phone calls / voice.

    Hey,

I remember I read a KB on this problem and work around should leave you a voice message, then listen, this may result in the cancellation of notification of voicemail on your BB.

Otherwise, simply reset your device (traction battery out so that the phone is always turn on and reinsert the battery)

  • Smartphones blackBerry for phone dialing keyboard froze

It's probably nothing wrong with the phone, but something I did.  I had the phone in my pocket and when I tried to make a call, I couldn't have the numbers to arrive on the screen as I normally do during a call.  I thought the keyboard everything was locked, so I did what is needed to unlock.  Although, it freezes unless I hit the red button at the top right.

In any case, I was able to make telephone calls using the voice command function, but not with the keys.  Any advice?

Take out the battery worked!  This isn't in any textbook.  Turn it off several times did not work, however.  Thank you.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Curve 9380 - gel/pause

I've had this phone for nearly 18 months without any problem, but last week I almost he threw out the window!

For starters, he did pause for a few seconds, making send SMS, e-mail etc very frustrating! You might be texting, and then it is paused on everything that touches your tent to support on, then will take between 5 and 20 seconds to come for herself. Sometimes when I unlock or just try to navigate the phone - its fustrating Yes aswell!

And then yesterday and today, the battery had drained by noon, although he had been accused of the overnight! I rebooted my phone at noon today, and its once again once drained (18:20)!

They relate, or if my phone died?

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

I have a problem with my blackberry voicemail.  I am a new user of blackberry.  I recently had to update the unit (it took awhile).  Recently when I try to call my voicemail it calls my home phone number.  Press speed dial ' w' indicates my cell phone number, but when I try to call him, he calls my home number.  Also, if I dial manually in my cell number and press send, she always calls my home phone number.  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?  I'd like to be able to check my voicemail!  Thank you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry to take apart and put back together.

No, I don't mean remove the physical device.

My company (finally) made me a Blackberry (Bold 9650) so I could learn to do things like it backup, restore and so immediately and (better) to provide technical support for others.

So, I would like to know:

    1. how to back up my Blackberry?

I have e-mails, contacts and appointments calendar and your Internet favorites.

Would I need (as I believe...) to connect the device to a computer via a USB cable and somehow save these items on the computer?

Is it a synchronization for this software?

I guess I want to reverse the process above.

    3 secure wipe

Some time ago, in another section, I was told that it would probably be necessary, if a Blackberry into a movement of one BES/BPS server to another, to wipe the device and then turn it back on.

Wipe the unit would, I guess, delete the personal data, hence the master back to the top and restore operations.

What a wipe erases exactly (and what don't we not delete)?

    4. What is (re) activation after a wipe?

Wiping the Blackberry does include eliminating the activation information (I guess for that), it seems that I have to reactivate with my ISP (Verizon, in my case), correct?

Now, I won't do this 3 times a week, every week, but can I reactivate my Blackberry as I want? I just call Verizon like I did at the beginning?

    Hello

Hmmm... I'm not sure on the migration of one BES to the other, but I know that a WIPE has no effect on the it policy. I don't know if the migration to an another BES replaces the policy of IT or not. Nevertheless:

Reactivation as with the carrier. For the Association, is a lack of prejudice no-fault to reactivate with them. Simply dial * 228 and select Option 1 (then again and select Option 2). You don't really have to call and talk to them because your BB is fully registered on their network the first time you activate... on CDMA networks, there is much more "hardcoded" into the network (where the greatest difficulty taking CDMA devices and use them on another CDMA network).

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Timothy,.

You can use the software provided by the camera to transfer music from your device to the computer. You can consult the documentation provided with the device.

Windows Media Player is used to copy music, videos and pictures of the Player library to a portable device, such as a compatible MP3 player. See the link below

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Priv bricks during update MM

    Hello everyone,

As a user of BB for a long time (since the curve 8310 until the Passport), I couldn't resist the temptation and I ended up buying a private AT & T unlocked the B & H store in Manhattan during my vacation.

As soon as I come home in Spain, I started the MM updated procedure with an autoloader, according to the following instructions: http://global.blackberry.com/en/support/smartphones/blackberry-PRIV/reload.html

I downloaded the SW AAF355 version and drivers USB (computer restarts after the installation).

Installation script has detected the Priv in fastboot mode after lowering the volume + key combination of power and apparently started the update, but suddenly the phone restarted with black screen and led flashes between purple and green.

Quick notes: I've updated devices BB10 via autoloader a couple of times and I did the update did not complete successfully using Mac OS (latest version), but I tried tha same procedure from a W7 PC too.

Now, I'm still stuck with black screen and led flashing and computer does not detect the phone more. I tried all combinations of possible keys try to restart the phone but no luck.

So I ask help to members of the community on what can I do to get it fixed, cause I think that the problem of Mayor is I'm in Spain...

    Thanks in advance.

OK, it seems that I finally I could remedy then I'll write the steps that I followed, just in case.

In my case, I was not able to start the phone in following mode fastboot with all combinations of keys, and the computer it has not detected:

    -Low volume + button.

    -High volume + button.

-All buttons pressed at the same time.

But after some trial and error, I pressed the middle (the toddler between flight up and down) button + power button and the phone started in mode 'starting'

The computer detects it and loaded MM autoloader (first attempt get stuck again, but a 2nd went until the end). After that the phone boot up normally.

Thanks to all the members of the BB community and have a nice day!

I want to build apps PlayBook that communicates with the smartphone BlackBerry.

For example, create the document or something using BlackBerry smartphone while I'm out, change it with PlayBook when I went back to the office.

    My questions are:

    * PlayBook reads smartphone as the persistent store data?

    * If Yes, where can I find the document resource to do?

    * If not, is there another way to get data of the smartphone?

None of this is currently available in the SDK 0.9.1.  It is said that would not be possible, but has received no roadmap.
