Smartphones International charge blackBerry pin options

Just finished a frustrating, circular conversation with Blackberry 1 888 accessories, trying to discover if the international charger adapter kit I ordered did NOT pin inserts for the Australia and New Zealand because they are not part of the kit, either because they forgot to include them.

I had the guy at the other end of the line to ARGUE with me that the kit is compatible with the Australia and New Zealand. This is clearly NOT compatible.

Where can I buy the reinforcement of 3 pins for AUSTRALIAN and NZ outlets?

We have the international charger makes no mention of having adapters for the Asia-Pacific.

  • BlackBerry smartphones enable my BlackBerry ID... I already have?

Recently, I had to do a wipe contact/e-mail on my BlackBerry Curve 8350 configure BES (to my place of work) on my cell phone. After having done that, I downloaded all my contacts from My U.S. Cellular Contact Backup, but I have problems with BlackBerry's App world.

In short, I had before the specific deletion of applications and games I purchased via PayPal, through BlackBerry App world. However, when go/go to the BlackBerry App World to get into my old ID and password, it doesn't recognize me and said that I need to activate my BlackBerry ID.

I spent the best part of four hours on the phone last night with BlackBerry and despite trying every variation of password, e-mail and resets - thus creating a new an and trying to synchronize the PayPal after creating a new ID - I still can't access to my old BlackBerry App World / My World.

I still have records of PayPal with my purchases, but I can't get BlackBerry App world to recognize me, and I always get the error 'you must activate your BlackBerry ID'; I lose the games thaty I paid forever?

One of the main reasons I went to a smartphone was that with normal cell phones you lose games if he's injured; I want my games and Apps I have paid for and a wipe to activate a service for BlackBerry, should we not wasting the other features that I just paid for!

Here, any help would be appreciated...

    Hello WVTinyTim,

If you go to www.blackberry.com/blackberryid, you are able to log in with your ID again? If so, try changing the password and use the new password on your device to connect.

Send me a message private with your BlackBerry pin (found under Options > status) and the e-mail address that you used to create your ID BlackBerry and I have this review for you.

    Thank you

I got another charger that adapt and worked from a different manufacturer, but he began to do the same. In fact, when I tried last recharge, my curve began to refuse to start. I connected to my laptop and then it started to load and has been good during the past few days.

Currently, I wonder something my wife told me that there is a limit to how many times you can load a blackberry using the USB port on the computer. I am also looking to buy a new charger too.

Is there documentation on default Chargers? My curve is about 3 years old now.

All answers and assistance is greatly appreciated.

First of all, it's just a myth that you can recharge by USB with your laptop for a short time.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones International BB Pin Exchange

I have friends in other countries (I live in the USA) who wants to communicate via Messaging Instant of BB. If share us Pins BB & communicate via instant BB messaging will I have to pay anything to my door - AT & T... Also if I go to other countries & would like to communicate via Messaging Instant BB will take a "international"... data plan

1 PIN messaging and BlackBerry Messenger is part of your BlackBerry data Plan and as long as you have a data Plan unlimimted, PIN and BBM messaging is 'free' in the context of that. As far as localality is concerned... the United States the United States or US in the UNITED Arab Emirates and the Philippines in the Canada, anyway, there is no restriction on the SPINDLE and BBM Messaging.

    2. If you are traveling to another country, you need an International data plan to your account and then PIN and BBMessaging would be a part of this plan.

    Hi all

I will soon work in the Bahamas quite often. Does anyone know if the BBM or PIN messaging is free or do I have to get a data plan of the supplier in Nassau? Thank you.

  • BlackBerry, change of sim card and ID blackberry Smartphones roaming charges

I did a little research and although have found similar cases, I'm not quite sure if this has been covered completely. Please forgive me if it has.

I'm going abroad in Germany for a year, and it is useless to cancel me my current plan of the monthly British payroll with Vodaphone. As far as I know my blackberry is unlocked at the international level - I put an old, German o2 pay as you go sim in my phone. Seemed to work very well (sign of o2 Germany, received a message on homelessness in the UK, etc.), but I had no credit so couldn't test. I registered again my user ID of blackberry on my home wi-fi. But other that I couldn't do much to verify the extent of my use.

However, I heard various accounts of not being able to use e-mail, internet, wipe the contacts, etc..

If someone could clarify this, here are my questions:

    • If I take my sim UK vodaphone, is anyway I have accumulate roaming charges? Is my blackberry ID, potentially with a new German supplier, related to my old?
    • Will he make any question tries to access my email, bbm, whatsapp, etc., with a different number and in a different country.

One has experience in this area, in Germany (a long shot), Europe or world? It seems that the whole ID blackberry complicates things.

My phone is a Blackberry Bold 9900, AFAIK its software wise update - I have updated today with the "Bundle 2061 7.1" I think.

    Thank you

    J.

Hello and welcome to the community!

There are a number of problems to know for what you propose... Here are my thoughts... (Note that I have traveled internationally widely enough with a BB).

If you activate a plan of itinerant international with the support of your home, you should be able to keep your current SIM card in your BB and have all the features anywhere where you are allowed (according to what your home carrier active). Costs are not small in general, but your home operator is the only entity that can tell you if it will work and for how much money. My personal experience with this method was difficult, it took two 'stranded' international travel before my carrier home could properly configure my account for full international roaming I needed. And once my BB was out of my home network, there was nothing else they could do... so the two 'fail' the TRIPS Agreement.

Given that your BB is unlocked, you can use it on other carriers, simply by changing your SIM card. But with BB, it is not quite as simple as that.

No BB does exist (indeed, no device anywhere that I know of) that has all the radio technologies/frequencies within the view are just too many in the world. Thus, your first task is to ensure that your BB has the ability to the same function on the support networks you want to use it on. You must study the capabilities of your specific BB against the requirements of networks you will operate on... you may need to ask those network operators for more details.

If this element is satisfied, which then verifies that you have services at the level of the voice (calls, voice mail, SMS). But for level data services, increase complications.

Each company chooses patterns specific to BB (by model number) that they will promote "automatically". I do not know the carriers that have their network configured to support all the model numbers of BB. If the carrier you wish to automatically use your BB model number on media, then their system will be able to automatically deliver to your BB Service books required in order to activate the BB exclusive services (email, BBM, etc.). But, if their network does not natively support your specific model BB number, then their network is not likely to be able to automatically deliver these Service for your BB books... which will prevent the use of their network BB exclusive services. Again, you must inquire carriers on which you want to run if your specific model BB number is supported by their network for the automatic distribution of maintenance book.

In addition, it is to ensure that your home carrier frees your BB PIN of their system of BIS. A BB PIN can exist in only one carrier BIS system anywhere in the world... so if your home carrier doesn't release him, then the other carrier will not be able to allocate a BIS account for you, and you still won't be able to use services BIS of them. In this case, it is usually a matter of contact your supplier of home and convince them to release your BB PIN of their system of BIS.

If all goes well and all the conditions are met, then it can be quite transparent to switch between carriers, simply by changing your SIM card, ensure that each SIM card includes good BIS Services this carrier of course.
But if anything this either in the chain requirements above fails, it can sometimes be frustrating to make the things work pretty well (reminds me of my two "failed" international travel).

So, with all this as preamble, now to your questions...

Given what you describe, I see no for Vodaphone to charge you roaming charges. Without their SIM in your BB, your BB may not even try to use any resource of Vodaphone. But, you will need to get confirmation of Vodaphone on this point... so that they control all services, billing, etc. for your account. BB services you are subordinate to your main carrier services... you need the services of the main carrier to provide network connectivity services BB riding on this network connection.

There are always opportunities for questions. When you use a different SIM card, you are constrained to some services that provide the SIM. If it does not, for example, BIS level services, then you won't access to people. Similarly, if there is some government restrictions for some services, you can be restricted from that as well. If you get a SIM card with full services of BIS and, as described above, you spent all of the required components that I have listed, then you should be able to have all the services you listed. It is possible that you may need to reconfigure your email... There are stories about these configurations if shattered when change carriers... but the BBID integration is intended to facilitate this exact type of change of carrier, so it should not happen. But don't we can, of course, no promises.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones blackBerry PIN number & Aerize Optimizer

I am so incredibly frustrated with how not easy to everything this process is...

I had several problems with my blackberry tour and am now on my 3rd or 4th.  I bought the optimizer application Aerize back in August and when I try to enter my phone, it says that it is not valid.  I contacted Aerize Optimizer and they stop to me contact AppWorld.  Of course, I realize that there is no easy way to do it.  I searched through the forums and noticed that I should contact them at the following link:

    https://www.BlackBerry.com/CSOHelp/index.do?ft=generic

It sounds simple enough, and I'm excited thinking I would find a solution.  Of course when I try, it says the following:

"Please enter a valid PIN to Blackberry Smartphone"

How my device PIN would be invalid? !    Of course, the only solutions I find here are hidden in private messages.  I even tried to use general help and when I try it, it gives me the following message is displayed:

'The email address is already used on of BlackBerry Support Community Forums. Please log in with your account Support BlackBerry Community Forums and ask your question. If you are unable to connect to the community, click here to recover your account BlackBerry Forums of Community Support. If you are not currently a member of the forums, please click hereto create an account. "

So to sum up, it seems that I can't even put on my stupid Aerize Optimizer application support because my PIN code is not valid, but I can't put support on my PIN becoming invalid because my PIN code is invalid?  Do we not see how crazy, frustrating and terrible customer support is?

    1. I want my valid PIN.  I don't care if I changed the phone too many times, make a better phone and I would not.  This set "3 changes of PIN code and you have completed" is the most crazy policy I've ever heard.  Difficulty my PIN!

    2. I want my serial number on the Aerize optimizer to work I bought the product and am ready to stop credit card fees.

This is the only place where I only am not blackened the implementation support - so HELP!

Well, there is no official support from RIM in these forums, so bang for that isn't really useful...

But, have you tried this yet? While you may not be talking about an update, maybe the process would allow you to go forward?

In some cases, it was discovered that updates (from got AppWorld apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please try this:

    1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > BBKey > delete
    2. AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if she shows at all, in any State) > BBKey > delete
    3. Use your PC (via the mass storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > BBKey > Explore) and find all references (folders, files) to the app delete everything you find. Search the memory of your device and your press card as well.
    4. Use this link to user guide AppWorld for re - install the app - then predict a new activation/registration key

    See you soon!

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones! There is no option available on my handset email configuration

He was bought as a new unlocked phone and I can not set up an e-mail account. It does give me not the option in the menu only to create an account with the company of bb Server! I've been on the support pages and he says that the PIN and EMEI do not match! can anyone figure a way around this? Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

To use the Push RIM owner messaging capability, you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Carriers host BIS BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB - contact - the for assistance. Once you have a compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), then you will have personal email added to the e-mail Setup Wizard.

  • Emails from Smartphones blackBerry, pines, text messages disappears from the device

    Hello

The TEXT from emails, pine, keep disappearing from Bold 9900. Device is connected to a BES server. Device has been replaced and account re-created on the server but still happening. No idea why and how to solve the problem?

    THX

Hello and welcome to the community!

Since you're on BES, you really should work with your BES admin... they have a lot of things and it is possible that they apply an expiration that you aren't aware of the control.

Otherwise, here are some tips to use:

    • KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14320 How to maximize space and power battery life on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14213 Call logs, SMS text and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone

It's good, it means that the connection to the USB port on your handset is good.

I know that you may have tried this... but try again. New charger, new battery, charger different, different load location (another outlet). "You have a DC car charger, try it).

  • Smartphones blackBerry pin contact?

Apologies if this seems a silly question, the new owner of a Blackberry (2 days)

I some contacts in my blackberry messenger which I managed to send blackberry messages.

In the part each contact options, it has all the options for example to start conversation, remove contact etc. but it is also a contact...

He give options to call or text or BBM, but said also PIN "resource".

    What does this option?

Sending of one PIN code to another BlackBerry phone is exactly the same to send a BBM for the phone, except that it is not through the BBM app, it just seems right in the Messages folder.  It is available only between BlackBerrys.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Smartphones blackBerry PIN to the United States since the France

I will be going to France in September and buy a BlackBerry and the service and wanted to know if I'd be able to another BB PIN of France? Going to cost me something? It cost the receiver anything, if the receiver of the PIN is in the United States?

E-mail pine is part of the sender, and BlackBerry package of the receiver of data. Several carriers have unlimited data plans, so in essence it is 'free' yet you pay a single monthly price for the data plan, which includes unlimited messaging of pine.

Now, if you have a capped package, say 50 MB of data for monthly and you go on this amount, in theory, you could have to pay more.

So it depends. But in most cases, no, you will pay more.

You can PIN message all over the world for no additional or international fees. None.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones international travel - England

I was in England at Christmas and I could send and receive texts (no problem), I could receive emails fine, but when I tried to send an email, she would not cross.  Icon next to him was a clock and it just sat there and never sent.  I thought they would go through the next time he checked for emails, but this never happened.  I went through all the adjustment options, and I don't see what could be the problem.  I have a data plan with AT & T unlimited and as I said I could receive emails fine.  I was usually connected to the O2 or Orange network while I was there.  I also had this problem in Amsterdam.  I am about to leave for England again on Wednesday, can someone help me with this problem?  Thank you!

Unlimited data on ATT plans are nothing unusual and they still offer them.

The reason for which you were able to receive emails... you have the BlackBerry data Plan on your account and you have Service directories for your e-mail. Look at your Bill, you may very well be charged for abandonment of the use of US data at a higher rate. Be careful and check.

SMS is totally different - no data, a different plan, have nothing to do with the data plan.
