  OR you can connect from your BlackBerry to the icon "personal e-mail Configuration.

  2. click on 'Edit' next to the email to which account you want to change (or remove) the signature.

  3. where it says "signature", delete all the text if you don't want ANY signature, or change view you prefer instead of "sent from my BlackBerry... »

  easy... go to the BB messages for menu > options > General options > show recent contacts when composing email set or not.

  I'm not sure I quite understand, so let me explain (forgive me if I go too far).

  Unless you have your own server, your system accesses your e-mail provider via POP or IMAP... but your home system is simply an e-mail client. Similarly, BIS is an e-mail client that facilitates the communication between your server and your BB email. The Setup instructions to do this are here:

  Now, if you use this, then you must configure your home email client to leave messages on the server for a certain period of time - so that when the BIS polls for new messages (every 15 minutes), they will be on the server for it to recover and push to your BB.

  However, if your question is one of recovery, using your system, your emails that you have set up for a @bb e-mail address, I don't think that there is a way to do... I think that those who are exclusively for your BB itself.

  I'm trying to configure my BB Curve (Verizon) use IMAP of Gmail via BIS email setup site. I read the instructions & scanned through the forum, but could not find an answer.

  In accordance with the instructions, on the BIS website, I'm supposed to check the box "I'll give you the settings to add this email account", so that I can specify the address of mailserver IMAP.gmail.com, however, this option is not available when I edit or I have add the email account.

  Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  Try this and it will work: instead of your gmail address em enter [email protected] and some pw. This will faill and take you to the screen where you am I'll give you setiings, so this is my work email, then you enter correct gmail address in the user name and email and IMAP.gmail.com field for server and it will work.

  To delete a contact, highlight the contact on your list, press the BlackBerry menu key and select Remove.  Alternatively, you can simply highlight the contact and press the BACKSPACE on your physical keyboard.

  I'm trying to synchronize with two calendars.  One is my work schedule and that works very well.

  The second is my Gmail Calendar

  I deleted one of my Gmail addresses and replaced it with another.  I put it up to sync only the calenedar.

  However, when I go to calendar options, I still see my old gmail address and a new is not listed.

  Both addresses appear again in my maintenance book.  However, the new address lists only the CMIME, while one deleted lists CMIME both CICAL...

  How can I get rid of this one address and the time get the new address to appear in the calendar?

  I use a 9550 on version 5.0.0.1015

  Battery pull does not work.

  However, I managed to solve the problem.

  (1) I added in the email address that was still in the book and calendar service.  Then I deleted this address.  It worked and the offending address disappeared in all locations.

  (2) I deleted the second address and reinstalled and all of a sudden he started with calendar synchronization.

  This idea does not always work with files mess ups, but in this case it has worked flawlessly.

  My 9320 does not recognize my BBID. I tried the password reset, what does not work. I'm now up to 9 attempts, and the next attempt will lock me up. Any ideas what I can do. I can't seem to find what to do on the blackberry site, all the tips keep telling me to change my password working isn' there. I get the error message "enter the username associated with this smart phone. How can I find out what my correct username with my phone?

  According to this site, open Windows Live Mail, press Alt-H-A, I think it's the same as the help / about. The build No. will be 16, 15 or 14 (WLM 2012, 2011 or 2009).

  Also went to Applications > utilities, disk utility. and 'Repair permissions' restarted when finished. Don't know if this will help future emails.

  To project e-mails, open the preferences Mail account tab select the account gmail and go to the behaviour of the ball. Uncheck the tab where you will store draft messages on the server.
