SoftAP

I bought a HP wireless mobile mouse because I believed what he says on the packaging. It does not work because I get a message saying that SoftAP is not available. I spent several hours trying to track down SoftAP and it seems that if I'm willing to pay £28,00 expert (not related to HP) will help. I feel cheated by HP as there is no mention of SoftAP anywhere in the very sparse manual or on the packaging. I'm not about to spend another £28.00 and will return in place of the mouse for a refund and will probably avoid buying HP products in the future.

I finally gave up this device.  HP has just blew it away.

Hi, I have upgraded to windows 10 and now of course my WiFi mobile mouse does not work. • Hosted wireless network problem

I'm currently located in a place where the WiFi you buy will only link with one device and the IP and MAC addresses to confirm the device before you connect to the internet. I am to avoid paying for both (laptop and smartphone) devices through a wireless network but my laptop using Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter. However, when I start the hosted network, either through the "netsh wlan start hostednetwork" command in the command prompt or via the software free virtual router Manager, my computer freezes completely and does not respond to anything except a hard stop. When I started this, everything worked well and I could use the network hosted without any problems, but in the last few weeks, I had to shut my computer down several times a day because of this problem. Can someone help me understand why my computer keeps freezing? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Active screen/window becomes inactive on its own.

I've had this problem for quite a while now; whenever I am active in a window to say to, for example Internet Explorer or type in MS Word, it automatically becomes inactivated. Happens at various intervals, and it is just annoying, because I can be typing something, then all of a sudden it inactive and I have to click the window again to make it active.

I tried Googling the problem and much of the time the answers are "there is something running in the background" or something of the sort. I also triedc the problem, what has worked, but only temporarily. So after I have restart or turn it on again the problem starts again. I also scanned the computer of viruses, bugs and anything that could be linked to such a problem, and I got rid of everything that seemed suspect... but the problem still remains.

As a side note, the problem is on a Toshiba Qosmio Windows 7 laptop

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Sorry I forgot to answer this question here. I've solved, and YES, it was that accursed wireless TP link software!

When you start and opens the configuration window, go to options and put him in the soft AP mode.

Now when I boot, it only shows me a little window saying correctly "configure SoftAP mode." I have no problem whatsoever now.

  • "The hosted network could not be started."

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 and when trying to connect to my Wifi network, I found that the signal from the router was not strong enough to reach the floor, and since I have a laptop connected with a cable that I thought I could make it work like a virtual router. After some research, I found several programs:

I tried Connectify, which did not work. Then I tried Virtual Router, that does not work either. Then, I found this:

And it worked, the network appeared in the list on my phone. Unfortunately, when you try to connect, it got stuck on ' Optaining IP-address '.
I tried to use a static IP address, and even with one put in place, it got stuck on ' Optaining IP-address '.
After that, I have been clicking through the menus a lot and hit accidentally turn off somewhere. Since then, when I try to start the virtual router, it says:
The hosted network could not be started.
The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation.
I can't find the place where I hit the turn off, and I don't know what to do more :(

  • Connection to the wireless network trouble at the start of Windows 7

I have configured my computer will automatically connect to my home network, but at the start, it aims rather to connect to 'SoftAP-C0', a network with zero signal strength that probably belongs to one of my neighbors. It is impossible to connect and displays "waiting for users ' instead of 'connected' or 'disconnected '. I then have to disconnect this network manually connect to my network home and enter the security key. Because my computer never gets to actually connect to the network SoftAP, I can't access the configuration window to disable the automatic connection (if it is still what makes my computer trying to connect to it in the first place.) Is there another way to access its configuration (otherwise than through the network and sharing Center)?

    Hello

You can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks, no matter where you are. The wireless networks appear only if your computer has a wireless network adapter and driver installed and the adapter is turned on.

If you want Windows to ask permission before attempting to connect to a wireless access point, you can Turn off wireless on the laptop.

You can have a switch on the laptop turns off the same. Turning off Wireless is specific to the model of the laptop.

You can follow the links below to set up your preferred networks.
