  According to the document following the Officejet 4500 G510 is compatible with Mac 10.11, but there is no comprehensive software features and driver: Printers HP - OS X v10.11 v10.10 compatible printers.

  The operating system is out and it is still a beta version of the software for printers. I had the driver works, but not of the printer for complete capable of using software. I see you advertise on the internet Windows 7, but still no software. What do you for Christmas? It's about 2 months away. As I said in another post that no one answers with good response, I got the driver to work. Still no software and I tried to install a software that is listed under Vista 64, but that's just errors out and cancelled the installation. It's really stupid that there is no word or whatever this so-called why HP has no date of availability of software or anything just a work-around that does not use the complete robot of the printer. WIndows Vista has the same use windows Fax and the printer in windows, but still does not all the features of the printer.

  Oh by the way I got the Officejet J3680 all-in-One.

  It is not for lack of Microsofts that you take your time to satisfy the consumers of your products. Its been about a week now after the release of Windows 7 and not a word about the software, but a few drivers. I probably still will not get the right answer with this post. Lack of communication at HP. You should be happy that I don't have a company according to the use of complete Betacam of this printer printer, because I would lose money waiting for you to do something.   Also the Wi - Fi guy telling me to wait until January 2010 is not a solution. A solution is to have the software ready to use. So I will not consider it all solved.

  Oh, I found my own solution. I remember that I bought another Deskjet f4400 printer and you have the software windows 7 for her. My mother used this one while I used the officejet j3680, so I went with her printers. It uses Vista, so now I have a fully functional recommended printer to use and she does too. I only will be absent the fax part, but that's fine. She wanted anyway the fax printer.

  Page drivers Canon MultiPASS F50 & the downloads shows nothing for Windows 7 (or even for Vista), so I doubt that it works.

  Microsoft Office XP is not compatible with Windows 7.  Office 2003 and Office 2007 are.

  Arrrrgh!  Had a terrible time trying to get the scanner function works on my Epson Stylus CX7000F.

  I get the too common but seemingly irreparable "Windows has encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device...". Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to intall it. The system cannot find the file specified. "

  The job of printer/copier/fax end but not go on the scanner.

  I tried the 'fixes' to epson.com repeatedly with no luck.  This includes their reccomendation uninstall/install several times, trying even to this process in safe mode and clean boot the.

  I ran the program to 'fix' Microsoft ATS with no luck.  It has detected the error and said that the problem has been resolved, but guess what?  No, it isn't.

  I clicked on install update driver/driver from Device Manager.

  I tried the work around, eliminating the "LowerFilters" of the registry.  Guess what?  You have it, no luck.

  So, before I go and buy a new printer/scanner, with no guarantee that they will work.  Does anyone have another suggestion?

  I am running Vista, 32-bit.

  You can also try and replace or install the ntprint.inf file.

  I had a similar problem on a Windows 7 PC and noticed that this file was not present.  I just copied the file from a different PC Win7.  The printer, I tried to install was a Brother MFC-J410w.

  The file can be found here C:\Windows\inf

  -System sees this controller in Device Manager
  -Adaptec has Vista drivers download (32 - bit, 64 - bit no)
  -Downloaded the drivers on my pc and extracts into a folder
  -Open the Device Manager and click on update drivers for this device
  -Made to the location of the new drivers and tried to install

  The results of action in this post:
  "Windows could not find driver software for your device".

  I do not understand 32 bit vs 64 bit one nonsense, but I installed many programs, which are almost 32-bit without any effort.

  Is there a compatibility mode for the drivers?
  How can I get through this?

  Should the real name of the device (AHA-2940UW) be in the list of official feature of Vista to install it?
  (i.e. If I were to add a device and choose the category manually storage controllers, it has a lot of Adaptec products in it, but not mine.)
  If this is the case, is there a way to add the device manually to Vista?

  The SCSI controller has a single function, driving my Microtek scanner, which is so well built and reliable I can't part with him. :-)

  Well, I found the solution, just in case anyone has the same problem.  Apparently some day caused Wireless does not work on several computers. So you go into Manager for all of these research and device drivers manually. Then, you look for in C/windows/winsxs. Then the wireless mouse/keyboard should work.
