  I see that you have a problem installing the software for your HP Deskjet 2540 on your Windows 8.1. I'm happy to help with this installation problem!

  To get help, I'll have to know the following:

  • If the printer is connected, wireless, or USB.
  • If the printer is able to make copies. Copy the text or mixed Documents.

  In the meantime, try the following:

  • Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software. (In case it has been partially installed).

• Cannot sync the settings on ANY software Adobe CC

  I noticed that whenever I try to sync my settings to access my assets (especially color palettes), none of the software is able to do.

  For all programs, even if the program identifies me as connected under my ID as shown in the title of the help drop-down menu, whenever I go to sync settings, preferences said either a blank space or that I'm "not connected."

  I tried logging and turn it back on CC and each individual program (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.). No luck.

  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator (where I first noticed the problem). No luck.

  I also tried to reset my sync settings by closing the application of CC, deleting the file CoreSync desktop, rename my creative Cloud Files folder and reopening to re - sync. Unfortunately, that seems to have compounded the problem. Now Adobe Creative cloud comes up with an empty window whenever I try to view my settings in there.

  There is no option in Acrobat reader to customize playback mode when you start the player, but you can configure for a specific file by using the "view original" feature of acrobat, but which apply only to this specific pdf.
