  I'm trying to find a way to download the Desktop Manager software, so I can install on my HP Mini 110 without using the CD that came with my BB.

  I downloaded the files from the BB site.  The first DL was the wrong version.  Now I got the right version, but I can't seem to use the file that I downloaded?  460_b027_multilanguage.exe is the file that I downloaded.  It gives me an error that says that this is not a valid Win32 application.

  Anyone know how I can get the Desktop installed without Disk Manager?  I have the wrong file?

• HP Mini 110-1050NR-WWAN software/utility

  Hi, I have a HP Mini 110-1050NR who built in broadband. This mini was initially provided with Windows Xp, I did a clean install of Windows 7 starter. My only problem is that the software for the wide band/WWAN services will not be installed. It is said the WWAN device not found. I have all the drivers installed. I think that the WWAN is set to OFF, but the only way to turn it on as far as I know is through the HP wireless assistant software which I can't settle.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  OK, after losing 90 minutes with HP support technology delays, finally figured it out.

  I installed Verizon Access Manager (I have verizon service) and that's what did the trick. Their software is designed for the u2400 chipset and it works like a charm. I'm assuming that the other carriers (AT & T/Tmobile/Sprint) have a very similar software.

  I contacted HP support several times over the past 2 years without success (a few times when I first bought this PC), so I thought I would try these forums.  I bought a Compaq Mini 110 c-1100DX with Windows XP a few years ago and wanted to create a recovery disc for it.  I followed the instructions, but I find that the typical HP, who is referenced in my manual, Recovery Manager does not exist.  HP support has confirmed this, but refuses to communicate any recovery disks support or operating system.  They said I could use the Roxio software that never worked to create or restore images.  I refuse to pay $16 for something my other HP computers 5 all allowed me to... create the factory recovery disks.  I have an external DVD burner, I have USB flash drives, and I have a desire to find a way to recover the original image.  I know that I can make an image of the disk because it is today, and I can use another software to create back ups.  I don't want to do that, I want the original image.

  Does anyone know of a place to download this image, a line of support that might be willing to send me the DVD recovery, or a way to connect with a more high level and preferably American, support staff?  I have 5 HP computers and printers HP 2, and I know the tech support/customer service line is a waste of time.  I'm good enough at the end of my rope with HP, and despite the fact that computers and printers have always been good support so so incredibly awful that I can't buy them more if I can't get this simple application is complete after 2 years of trying.  Any ready HP there at Carillon?

  For reference for anyone else having this problem (or any other issue, with the support of HP), I called 650-857-1501 (HP corporate), went to the business operator, explained my problem and the issues I had with the support of the founded India, she was very polite and transferred me to a very useful case manager named Emily and it solved the problem in 5 minutes.  I can't believe how much it was easy after suffering through hours and hours of race around the line of standard support.

  My HP Mini 110 (Windows 7 starter edition) was running slowly, so I decided to use the valuation facility to return to factory settings.  Everything seemed to go well; I am as much as the screen "Setup is preparing your computer for first use", and then the Windows Welcome screen. But then the message "Windows cannot complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation"appears. If I click OK it disconnects and begins again, with the same result. So I crashed and tried to use F11 to start the recovery process, but nothing happens (by default in the attempt to load Windows, with the same error message).

  It was the first time I tried the recovery on this machine (although I did the same thing with success on other devices), and the edition of Windows 7 Starter has been as when buying.  There was a large number of Windows updates this morning before starting the recovery process (I was a little surprised at how long they took), but nothing else of note.

  I know it works because I have done it myself and made a bootable USB flash drive with the file.

  I think I can lead you down the wrong path...

  If the file is compiled correctly, you should get an option to install several variants of windows 7 and you select the one you want.

  I'm looking on the instructions, and what I did was to delete the IE configuration file in the sources folder and closed the file.

  I do not edit the file and then I used imageburn to create the ISO file.

  I need help to recover an HP mini 110 computer.

  The original HD was not able to start, and it seems that the user shares a lot of mistakes.

  I can only access the recovery Partition, the system part & the HP Tools partition.

  If I put a new HD in Notepad and try to apply the image find 'Base.win' (index 1 & 2) in the RecoveryPart,

  After the reboot, I see first Installation of the drivers, HP to complete software and what W7 restarting a process to delete the MBR and I have loss all partitions!

  How can I use the recovery partition to apply a factory reset for the new HD?

  Note: I have no burn recovery DVD.

  You will need to make your choice about how you want to reinstall the operating system.

  You can buy a recovery disk if you wish.

  Otherwise, it's easier to do a clean install and use the drivers available on the web portal of the support for the mini.

  Here's how you can find the hardware Id for the network controller and you do the same thing for the ethernet controller.

  Go to Device Manager and click on the network controller needing drivers.   Then click on the Details tab at the top of the control of the network window.

  After the update to Windows 10 HP Support Assistant does not work.

  I checked the various positions and tried repeatedly UN-installing and re - install all or none avail.

  After reading another post, I tried to install the HPSupportSolutionsFramework. I then get a message error "the feature you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource."

  He invites me to type in a source for the HPSupportSolutionsFrameworh.msi file folder

  I tried on my laptop for this file but it does not exist. I searched the web for this and still can't find a copy!

  I had this same problem Wizard help on my HP desktop but I ran as administrator and works well.

  I read another post, advising to reset Windows 10 but will lose a lot of apps/programs and also some documents.

  Hello jonti1: hit a roadblock in order to proceed you must inter your information of computers at his request in order to make drivers and software. He asked. Once there just start downloading and installation ever thing you see starts at the top and work your way down. In which case all on your computer just let rewrite it's me again. HP does ' t please elaborate more since they improved the site. They also associated drivers software and drivers. We use to be able to see everything that was in charge to the bottom and select what we wanted. Not able to do more. It is good because you would have all the HP software and drivers of return on your computer in case where something is lost in your windows 10 updated. Ounce for that make records of Image you can use as a recovery disk.   I would try to manually install the driver.

  If you have not deleted the driver installation folder, try this...

  Go to Device Manager and click on the network controller needing drivers.  Then click on the driver tab.

  Click on set to update driver.  Select travel it my computer for software driver and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.  This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp57965.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

  I recently bought a Samsung EVO 250 GB SSD. After cloning the drive with the provided software HP will start, but after a reboot it freezes while loading windows. I compare the original with the cloned drive and they seem to be exactly the same.

  Unfortunately I tried everything, but the laptop does simply not work proparly. I decided to use the hard drive in another laptop, a Dell Lattitude. It worked the first time without any problem. So I guess that it is simply not compatible with HP-mini

  I "inherited" a mini 110-1045DX, and he had installed ubuntu on the original XP. I have nothing against ubuntu, but

  I need Windows XP. I did an installation of a new (unopened) Win XP Pro. Interestingly, I was not

  same prompt for a product key and the installation went perfectly. Two problems:

  (1) display is too "fat".  Not really a big deal.

  (2) No ethernet adapter. This is a big deal.

  (A) I am aware that HP no longers supports XP, but is there a place where I can download legitimately

  a copy of XP for the min-110?

  (B) if not, where can I download graphics and ethernet cards?

  Note, if you have used an HP Recovery disc to restore XP, there product key pre loaded, there should be a second disc with the drivers and software, but it is preferable to obtain the latest driver available from the link I gave you.

  I accidentally uninstalled the Recovery Manager HP on my HP Mini 110-3131dx from my netbook has been slow.

  Now I'm trying to reset to factory settings and I'm not able to determine how to reinstall the Recovery Manager.

  When I start in using F11 Recovery Manager, all of the options except windows is disabled restore and restore windows has only recent restore points which are useless.

  Here are the specs you computer Netbook HP Mini 110-3131dx. According to the specification, this model left the factory with Windows 7 Starter 32 bit installed. HP provides no downloads of the HP Recovery Manager, HP Recovery partiton or HP recovery media. At this point, you have several options available to you;

  Backup all your personal data before all the instructions below.

  (1) Please mark the 'Active' HP Recovery partition by selecting "Mark Partition as Active" using the Windows Disk Management Console. See HP - partitioning and names of hard drives (Windows 7) for more information on using the Windows Disk Management Console. After your computer restarts, you should be presented with the option to return the computer to a factory condition.

  (2) Please use the support of HP recovery, you created earlier to return the computer to a factory State.

  (3) If you create this media, please see Windows 7 32 b recovery USB-Kit or contact assistance from official HP through the HP portal to support all over the world, to see if the HP recovery support is available for your computer.

  (4), if you can still read the Windows product key of 25 characters on the COA Microsoft attached to your computer, you can also install Windows 7 Starter by using this key.
