[Solved] Clicking on a tab on the bar tab selects the wrong tab.

Firefox 34.0.5 running
Sometimes, but not always, by clicking on the tab bar opens the wrong tab.
Rather than open the tab is selected, it will open a tab completely to the left, in the corresponding position, rather than the tab I have click on.

For example, this image shows the tab I click on.
http://PUU.sh/eAfsP/7ddac08d41.PNG

And this picture shows the tab firefox passes instead.
http://PUU.sh/eAg4Z/2b4f441564.PNG

Note that it has instead moved to the left end of the tab list.

It may be interesting to note that my firefox is running with about 300 individual pills, of which about 30 are loaded at any point and time. However, please do not attribute the problem to the count tab without reason, because this question has ever taken place in all previous versions of Firefox.

[Solved] There was a conflict with an extension that appears to have been resolved.

Thanks for your help the-edmeister, I found the cause of the problem, it turns out to be an extension of the buggy, called Classic theme restaurateur 1.2.8.2.

It has been used to go back to an older version of the firefox theme, and unfortunately, it seems that bugs have been introduced as it became obsolete after several versions of Firefox.

Thanks for posting the details of your system. I'm skeptical about the "CompTool0234 Community Toolbar". Could you disable some add-ons and see if that helps.

    On this tab:

Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Plugins category

    Disable «Conduit Plugin»

    On this tab:

Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

    Disable the CompTool0234 community toolbar.

Then very probably a link will appear to restart Firefox to make the change. Does make a difference?

  • When you click on a tab open, how to do the update automatically in the body of the page?

When you click on a tab open, how to do the update automatically in the body of the page?

Right clicking on a tab open and using the arrow keys now now moves through open tabs. I liked the old versions where just after having clicked on a tab you can directly go to the page with the arrow keys to navigate.
Y at - it something that I can change the subject: config to change this behavior?
    Thanks in advance.

Firefox has yet to set the focus in the area of browser if you click on a tab.

Only with very old browser versions you could set the focus to a tab by clicking a tab.

This problem is probably caused by an extension.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.
  • 'Move to the group' option is more listed when I right click on a tab. I hope this is a sick joke & will be corrected quickly.

Before the last update, I could always right-click on a tab and move it to a group in the Panorama feature. In Firefox 10.0.2, the option to move a tab to a group is a party.

Please fix this quickly. This must be a joke lame ass by a developer.

Make sure that you have created at least a group of tabs (Cmd + Shift + E) and define a name for it.

    Hello

Sorry, but this is a limitation of CHM. Unfortunately I don't remember if it came with version 10, but if if you could use the WebHelp for the CHM converter script to package inside a CHM WebHelp output. If you do, then you would have what you want where a simple click would open things.

  • When I click on a table in the left, the tab page replaces the previous

    Hi all

When I click on a table in the left tree, the tab page replaces the previous, how to disable this feature? These are inconveniences because I view each design of the table of different tab pages.

anyone here have any suggestions? really appreciate it.

You have 2 ways to do this:

    (1) when you open a table, click on the pin located in the upper right of the open tab button, it locks this table and a new one will open in a new tab, it works only once, so you can locate only the tables that you really do need to stay open.

    (2) you can set the property ' automatically Viewer gel "(or something like that) in

    Tools-> preferences-> database-> Object Explorer

This will automatically locate each table you open.

  • Why Firefox guard open a new window a lot when you click on a tab to open it.

Firefox guard open a new window every time when I click on a tab to open it. Happens quite a few times per day now and it's annoying.

Versions of Firefox 3.5 and later have a feature called tabs.

You can detach a tab in the current window and open in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.

You can drag the tab to the tab bar in the original window to cancel this detachment.

bug489729 (Disable detach and tear off tab):

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Click on a tab used to open another tab and closed environment now tab, how can I change this back?

When I middle - click the mouse on a tab, it will open another tab with a copy of this page. For example, when I go to Pogo.com on one of recent games here I've sometimes will use the middle button to reopen the page and check the status of a fault, if it has been activated and the extent of the progress made. Now when I click middle mouse on a tab it will close the tab and if only one tab is open out of the browser.

    I currently use:
    Windows XP SP3
    Firefox 36.0.4

I have also tried to go to safe mode with Firefox without a change in behavior.

Hi, you can copy a tab open pointing to reload the current page (right end of the address bar) by clicking the mouse wheel.

If you want the browser remains open when you close the last tab, type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab and double-click on it to change the 'value' of true to False.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

I have just upgraded to Firefox 24ESR as part of an update to CentOS 5 (RHEL5) and now medium by clicking on a link opens the link in a tab and not in a new window (as he did with Firefox 17ESR). Hello

To resolve this issue, go to the Firefox preferences panel and make sure that the tabs > open new windows in a new tab instead of preference is unchecked.

Then type "Subject: config" in your address bar. In the page that is displayed, please click on the button "I'll be careful." In the top search bar, type "browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick." Display preference set to false by double-clicking it.

    I hope this helps!

  • Search for right click Firefox 13 - stay on the Page After searching as Previous Versions

    Hello

When I highlight and click right a word on a page and then click on "search Google for ' the result opens in a new tab - as expected. But in firefox 13 it switches immediately to the new created google search tab.

In previous versions of firefox it would stay on the current page and leave the new tab on google search in the background ready to be open when I'm ready.

I would like to know how to change this feature in v13 to the way it was in previous versions, as described above.

    Thank you.

Hello apple_juice, you can enter Subject: config in the address bar of firefox, confirm the notification of information (in the case, it turns out), search for the preference named browser.search.context.loadInBackground & switch true by double-clicking it. that should bring back the old behavior...
