some kind of virus?

So far, since Sunday, I seem to have some kind of virus that effects my desktop software, MS Office, Outlook and Windows vista security components.  I tried to restore the PC to a previous state (failed).  I tried to run 3rd party software to search for malware.  Trend Micro said no problem.  Norton said no problem after having been rebuilt by Norton, cannot run any software for detecting rookits or MS Security Essentials because they fail to install and to say that I don't have permission.  My office has disappeared.  Initially, I have not been able to open office files but used several techniques from this database can now open files.  Outlook will not send or receive mails and wants to create a NormalEmail.dotm file despite a being already on my PC.  Is the only way to solve this problem to reformat and reload windows?  Windows disk is not recognized by the PC that wants to format the CD when insterted.  Help!

  • Have some kind of virus or Trojan - dozens of spam messages are sent from my PC. Is there something I can do?

The messages do not appear in my "sent" folder. Many of them are sent to the death of e-mail addresses and the only way I know that it comes from "failure to provide" messages from the mail administrator.

My virus software provider has solved the problem: I'm a customer at my internet provider for e-mail. Spam messages came from there. All I had to do was change my e-mail password and the problem disappeared immediately.

  • Does anyone know if Reg Clean Pro is safe or if it's some kind of virus?

While working with Microsoft office, I had a window that pops up and began scanning my computer and then to tell me I had 6535 problems with the performance of my computer and that my state of health of the system are POOR with the level of damage is high. Then would fix only 15 issues until I bought the software. Anyone know anything about this?

Get rid of such a program, do not apply 15 patches. You should be able to uninstall it (computer > uninstall or change a program). These programs offer usually speed up your computer, while some of them manage to speed up things a little more of them break everything.

If you want to optimize your system instead use the free programs (vacuum cleaner and registry cleaner) ccleaner and defraggler:
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_defraggler
They break things in the same way as the program that you have. Then if this is installed without your knowledge you should eventually check for malware. Download Malwarebytes:
    http://download.CNET.com/Malwarebytes-anti-malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
The free version) to update and run the full scan. The best thing about the free version of this program is that it only runs and updates when you tell him so that he does not interfere with any other security installed on your computer. Of course, the professional version has protection in real time and automatic update, these too seems to be fairly stable when running in conjunction with Microsoft Security Essentials anyway.

    Hello

Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware

You can also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes

If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.

original title; I had to get an update for C++ (kb2565063), 05/01/2012, or is it some kind of malware?  My configurations have been lost since then.

My configurations have been lost since then. Half the time, automatic updates does not work, in any case. I gave to this question for centuries. 'Dxdiag' tells me things I don't believe, and there is no information system. Device Manager seems to work only when it wants to. My screen resolution has changed and I can't fix it. The icons are larger and the entire screen looks like to *! In fact, I can't even says the word "*" in this forum. I guess that my mouse settings have been too foires.

You can try manually updates by visiting the Microsoft Download Center and search for the update by number of KB that is listed on the update list.

    Reset the Windows Update components.

Having been on my computer for hours very well, I left to pick up my girls from school, and my window was open to yahoo.  When I came back, the computer was off.  I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't do anything.  the fire came, but it never came.  After you play with it for a bit, I finally managed to do turn it on, but it does nothing else.  I can't get into all programs and I can't connect to the internet.  After a few fault-finding with cox for more than an hour, they determined that I have a virus.  What kind of virus can put your computer completely out of use and how do I get rid of him?

Recently a kind of male-ware jumped to the top of windows when I do a secondary tab or click on a piece of information or something like. Also get a video ad in the lower right. These appear to occur separately. I followed the steps outlined in the help section. Downloaded Malwarebytes, it ran, still having the problem. Reset computer to a previous date. Still having the problem. Pop-up window comes up with the firefox logo in the corner. Takes too long to load, I usually close it until I can see what the devil is really. To appear a lot tho and really become a problem.
    Help, please.
    Thank you

Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of. I realized that malwarebytes is on the list, but try others. If push comes to shove, you may be forced to be:
At littera Do this first) UNINSTALL FIREFOX WARNING: THIS WILL REMOVE ALL OF YOUR FIREFOX INFORMATION! IT CAN BE HIDDEN IN YOUR FIREFOX DATA TROJAN HORSE AS SOME VIRUSES TARGET SPECIFIC BROWSERS!

    (B) remove your computer to a specialist. They will know what to do, because this seems to be a malware problem, not a problem of Firefox.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one.

More information can be found in the article troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware .

  • my firefox keeps reseting whenever I close all the options, I changed to this topic to reset to the default values, why? is this some kind of error? IM using windows xp

Well whenever I use firefox I have watch some youtube vids watch stuff on jtv, maybe even play some runescape and then after that I have quit firefox everything resets to the default values, and I don't know why it does this I have scanned my computer with anti virus/malware/spyware and nothing seemed

    These steps help?

    • Rename the * prefs.js in the profile folder in * prefs_2.js (for backup, but Firefox would not be able to see them).
    • Exit Firefox via file - Exit menu;
    • Restart Firefox, look for the question.
  • Signature: sqlite3VdbeExec - crash - I ran all kinds of virus scans. What could this be?

Firefox keeps crashing within 2 minutes of the opening, every time. Internet Explorer does not work. I get the same signature, each crash report. the reason for the accident was Exception_access_violation.

I ran a whole list of antivirus and anti-spyware scans and everything is clean.

Although it will help you too much, this seems to be related to a bug in the sqlite software and there is a difficulty in a recent version of the sqlite software. This version of sqlite has been incorporated into the development versions that are used for the development of Firefox 4 (will be in Firefox 4 beta 5). I was not able to find and a kind calendar for when the new version of sqlite will be added to Firefox 3.6. * branch.

I don't see an easy solution to your problem. What you might try is to create a new profile. Firefox stores user data in the profile folder, create a new profile will force Firefox to create new sqlite files to store your user data and this can help with your problem.

First of all, you should back up your bookmarks and passwords, so you can import them into the new profile. I hope that you will be able to do so before Firefox crashes. For bookmarks, follow the procedure described in article restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer to create a backup file. Passwords, you can use the password exporter add-on to create a backup file.

Now, create the new profile, for details, see creating a new Firefox profile on Windows.

You can import bookmarks by using the procedure in the article I linked at the earliest. To import passwords, add the add-on exporter of password and use it to import passwords that you exported earlier. It will be best to reset all other customizations yourself rather than trying to import them.
