Songs in the library, not the same indictment

My laptop shows 177 songs but my new desktop computer only 60.  How can I get the rest of my songs on my desktop computer?

Copy it to the network, or use a portable hard drive.

  • iTunes separating artist for each song by the same artist

This is something that concerns me for a long time. After you add a few Radiohead songs to the collection, it wouldn't put them in the same section of the artist. In this case a very large number. So I thought that any other time in this case, I have just remove the artist artist name and album for all of the music of this artist and works in general.

Not this time. Instead, what it's done is divide the artist for each song. Strangely, if I switch to the display of the album, each song is where it should be. I tried re-entry sorting and grouping information, but nothing seems to work.

    Hello winningbagoafx,

I understand that iTunes is unable to well to bundle a number of songs together under the same artist. The article linked below, although written for a slightly different situation, details information that can also be applied to a similar situation involving the artist rather than the album.

  • Is there a way to create a smart playlist without several songs from the same album?

I would like to create a smart playlist without several songs of his same albums.  Is this possible?

    Timo,

    Unfortunately not.

Smart playlist logic analyzes each song individually and includes those who correspond to rules.  There is no way to write a rule that depends on other songs in the same album.

A frustrating problem with wmp on my new laptop of ASIS Windows 7. During playback of an mp3 file, if I hover near a second file, the second file starts to play in the first.

The system is used for dance classes, and I need to have the ability to choose a second track spontaneously.

This does not happen with the previous version of wmp (11).

The problem would be the touchpad on the laptop?

  • Download all the songs at the same time

I have 3 400 + on my Apple Phone music and just got an iMac. I want to download all the songs in iTunes on the hard drive. What I have to download every song or album individually or is there a solution with a single right click download them all at the same time?

Better would be to transfer them from your old computer to the new. In this way, you would hold playlists, ratings, etc.

  • My iTunes is a collection of songs with the same artist, the same album artist and the same album separately. How can I fix it?

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? I put a lot of effort in organizing my collection and I hate to see 15 sections 'Lil Wayne' in my artist entry or right of the complete discography of Paul McCartney by Paul McCartney with 1 song. I tried to edit all the files together, intentionally misspelling the name and spelling then it right once again, but it do not work and that the use of work well, but it doesn't seem to work.

If iTunes displays multiple instances of an artist or an album then generally what works is to select all the associated tracks and use read information to add say end X for each of the areas that the slopes have in common:

    • For an album. Album, artist of the Album and artist (if the artist is the same for all tracks) *.
    • For an artist; Album artist (artist and unless there is the comments/featured artists listed that should not be changed)

Apply the change which merges things together, then remove the excess characters. Occasionally, it can help to close and reopen iTunes between two renaming operations. Part of a compilation should also be set in a consistent manner.

    * If the titles must be synchronized to a non - iOS device, there should be a common artist and/or album must be defined as a Compilation.

Use the view of songs and display fields, Album, genre, Album, Album artist, genre artist Album, artist and genre artist side by side to see you whether or not it is necessary to change the artist and if sorting values could be the cause of additional problems. See grouping in albums, titles for help if necessary.

Another tip duplicates stubborn reality. At one point, I had three batches of various artists in the view of artists in my iTunes game library that wouldn't meet usual backward X treatment. What I found worked was adding the final X, but with each group, iTunes wanted to separate start typing a value and let iTunes autocomplete of the Var... for various artists. Collection of AutoComplete lists seemed to work when the full value of collage/montage does not.

  • Songs from the same album are organized in different versions of the album

Several songs on the album are purchased on iTunes so when weve deviated our own music library on tends them to be several versions of each album it appears each with different songs on the album. The problem still persists when viewing music on any of our apple devices, even when you look at the 'albums' category there are several versions of many albums that have only 1 or 2 songs each. We tried to manually change how the songs should be sorted and nothing seems to work?

  • Album art disappears for songs from the same album.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem with AirPlay on Apple TV (4th generation)

Album art perfectly fine poster to a playlist in which each subsequent song has a different album cover than the preceding.

If, however, I play 2 or more songs in succession from the same album (and with the same cover), the album cover displays the playback of the first track and then disappears to the other songs on this album. Album art does not appear again until a song on a new album (with different cover art) is selected.

  • How can I rename multiple versions of the same song at the same time in iTunes?

I know how to change the other columns for several numbers at once using Get Info - but is it possible to change the column name to several items at once? that is several versions of Adeste faithful in my Christmas iTunes library that are not always spelled and I want to standardize the spelling. If you use Get Info for several pieces at the same time, the column name is not one of the listed areas.  Thank you!

Unfortunately, the ability to update the value of name for two or more items in iTunes has been removed there are several versions (ISTR that it disappeared between 12.1 and 12.2).  I report it via the Apple iTunes comments page, but I suspect that it is considered a feature - which prevents users to rename accidentally several tracks - rather than a bug preventing legitimate usage.

  • Having trouble getting Windows media player to recognize and extract some burned CD when I insert the CD, nothing comes up on the tab extract. I have licenses for all the protected songs and the same CD was ripped in the past by using media player.

My computer has a virus and before I wiped it's own, I copied all my files to blank CD I was able to extract these CDs on my computer but they are in the WMA format and I want them in MP3 format. I changed the rip settings but when I put in the CD Ripper re - it, nothing comes tab extract. I tried to delete all the files in windows media player and my computer but media player doesn't always recognize the CD tab extract. I have restored my music files from the bin to WMA, but I really need to extract the songs in MP3 format. What can I do to get Windows to recognize and tear my CD? Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you!

Make sure that there is no CD in the CD drive. Then, go to Options - confidentiality of WMP and click the button Clear the Caches . Restart WMP, and insert a CD you want to re - rip. Are you able to rip the CD now?

If it still does not work, you can try to rip the CD from another user account (if necessary, create a new user account in the control panel). Afterwards, you can move the files ripped to MP3 to your own original account. Tim Baets
