Songs to convert to the rocket

When I use the songs drag / move on my rocket, which is not to convert my rocket, he said only: «Sansa Fuze updated»

But there are no new songs out there. How can I solve this problem?

I prefer to synchronize with Windows Media Player.  It is easy and suitable.  I RIP from CD and then synchronize.  WMP allows me to change gender, etc., I have to.

Maybe try and see if it works.

Do you need the list or do you need knowledge where they are? If you are looking for the list just look for the Board of Directors. If you are looking for them on the "rocket" you must be connected in MTP Mode.

  • A few songs in MP3 format plays on the rocket but play fine when I use the computer media player

I have a 8 GB Fuze with an 8GB expansion card and I downloaded the latest firmware (I think it is 2.3 something), but sometimes when I play a few Mp3s just make a high-pitched sound weird, fast and then move on to the next. When I have the "rocket" plugged into my computer the song plays very well. What could be the problem? Usually, I just delete the song from the "rocket" and charge from my computer music file, or if it does not work I use an application like Super of E - rightsoft to remake the song. A song won't work, however. Is it my computer or my rocket? I downloaded from OneTrackMind.com, which is a free, legal site to download new music, and it's just this song.

Thanks to you all! I really appreciated your kindness, but the problem was solved to redo the song at a slightly lower rate - 160 instead of 192. Odd, given that 192 is well within the range of the MP3 on the "rocket". It could have been a corruption of the original or a problem of tag file, I guess. I'm not a tech person. Again, thank you all very much!

  • No media art for songs on the rocket...

My playlists and download very good songs, but none of the album info download? It used to... but now I just get the generic next to each song cd image and that's all, ideas on how to solve this would be great! Thank you!!

Most of the audio files that I download isn't the information in them. There is a software called MP3Tag to overcome this problem. By using this software, you can label the information on an audio file. Try this brilliant software. It has never failed me!

    Thank you

  • PC not recognize the files on the rocket?

It's rather difficult to describe, but...

I installed the latest firmware, adding a video (I converted using video4fuze). After that I disconnected the "rocket", he asked me to put my language/region. As I moved to Asia recently, instead of North America, I put my area to the "rest of the world."

And now, when I connect the "rocket" to my PC, the PC think the "rocket" is a USB or something. I don't see what files I have on it (although I could when I started this whole exercise) and I'm not afraid to add files to the case where that messes things. The rocket itself always shows me all the files, but I can't access it from my PC. I tried it synchronization of Windows Media Player, but even that said just that the "rocket" has no songs on it (which is obviously not true). He acknowledges that only 2 GB of my 8 gb does exist, and that these 2 GB are not all of the available space.

    -Was it the firmware?

-When I added the video, I just drag & it deposited in the video folder of the fuse - affecting it?

    -How to fix this?

    Thanks for any help!

Settings system/settings/USB Mode. Change to the PSG, which is probably what you were using before.

Your update of the firmware must have put USB mode. Apparently, you were using before PSG, and now you're in MSC. Your computer cannot see the files that have been sent on the current fashion, even if your rocket sees all.

Also, drag - move does not work on video, but who did not cause your problem. You must put the video through a converter to adapt it to the screen of the rocket. The Sansa Media Converter, available through the update, makes a lot of people unhappy, so try Video4Fuze. Download the .exe file on the right side of the page and install it.

  • Poor quality of the sound on the rocket with some conversions of mp3 128 k

I've converted a few songs to m4a (you have an iTunes gift card, do not want to lose it) using MediaMonkey to load on my rocket 128kbs mp3 files. They sound very good when I play on the computer, but the sound quality is poor, when I play them back on the "rocket". Anyone else run into this? A high sampling rate would solve it? I hope that by Christmas next to have all school please do it year Amazon gift card, but I intend to use the iTunes card for now.

I guess that there must be a compatibility problem with MediaMonkey 128 k on the "rocket", as I have tried a few others with better results. WMA 128 k was best that the mp3, but still sounded not just. Conversion of mp3 160 kbps of MediaMonkey sounds very good and still maintains the small enough size for me. I still don't know why some of these conversions the best on my PC and the "rocket", but I guess that doesn't really matter because I found something that works. Thanks for your help.

  • Convering videos w/SMC without immediately load on the rocket

I am a very happy owner of a sansa FUZE 4 GB. I recently started using the video feature and my approach to its use was a little different from how others use it I think... I have a large number of microSD cards which I Exchange with different segments of my library stored on them. Since it sometimes takes hours to convert video in a format usable by my player, I'm looking for a way of convert videos I want to look in the future. That is to say, I want to convert a large number of videos and store them on my computer somewhere for easy loading/unloading on the "rocket". The problem is when my memory fills up in the rocket, the converter stops working (actually he did something worse-it continues to run and then fails to save the output converted due to errors of memory on the target drive.)

what I want to do is specify a save location for the converted video output - looks like a microSD card in my drive or a usb flash drive or a directory on the local HARD drive. This way I can use my downtime to convert videos in my spare time, then transfer them to the "rocket" just before leaving my house for easy viewing.

Is there a way to do this? Now the only solution I have is to fill my rocket, copy all of the videos on a different drive, free up all the space on my rocket and then start again, the disadvantage of this method, it's that I can convert only 4 GB of videos at once - but I have a terabyte of content I want finally to convert. Any ideas?

Sorry, I misunderstood. I think what you're asking for was available on the 1st version of the SMC. SanDisk does not SMC; It is assigned to a different company. I can't remember if version 2 had that capability or not, but it was written by a company other than 1. So not the problem with these 2 versions old is that they were "pre Fuze" and that he supported it.

We are now on the 3rd version of the SMC, developed after the introduction of the "rocket", and if it is the same as version 2 software company, they removed the crop photo feature. Looks like it is 1 step forward and 2 reverse.

The last word of SanDisk here (which was a while ago), it was that they hoped to eliminate the need for MSC in total via a firmware update. But that may or may never happen. Have you seen this thread? Or this one? I agree that it would be a much more practical way to do it, especially with a large collection of videos to convert videos on your hard drive first and then loading them on memory cards as needed or wanted.

I did as you; convert the player and/or a card first, then moving them to my hard drive (empty the card) for long term storage and repeating the procedure. It can be a pain.

  • How disconnec to the "rocket"?

    Hello:

I have several computers and a rocket. I move around computer to computer, but one of the things that I find confusing is the lack of some sort of "eject" or "it shutting down. There are no icons on the taskbar. There is nothing in the Media Converter. Howcum?

    Allthunbs wrote:

The "rocket" appears on 'Remove the device safely' not at all. Has ever.

Usually I just plug load. Sometimes I'll add files but rarely erases any.

The only place where it appears is under 'My Computer' as a 'peripheral '. When I access it, there is no discharge or any other method of safely remove.

You connect in MTP mode (or default automatic default, MTP). In MSC mode, your player will be displayed in the Explorer (workstation) under devices with removable storage as separate the 2 players, each with their own drive letter (one for the player, one for the memory card). The icon 'Remove hardware safely' is only available if you are using MSC mode, not the PSG.

As a precaution, check the screens of the players before pulling the plug. If it says wait to read or write until it is said that is no longer, but simply the connected and you should be OK.

  • Records of the "rocket"

I am brand new to digital music and am just getting started with my rocket.  So far so good.

I started by paste the files in the folder music in the internal memory, as stated in the manual.  But then I thought it might be wise to create separate subfolders in the folder music for each artist and paste the files in the appropriate subfolder.  It doesn't seem to make a difference when I use the rocket itself - it organizes all by genre, artist, album, etc. on its own.  But the records easier for me to see where the artists that I have loaded in the "rocket" when I am looking the files on my computer in Windows Explorer.

Is there a downside to create these subfolders?  I am myself for some kind of disorder affecting or create limits I'm not aware of?

    Thank you.

    JEP

The OP's question was to put songs in the album subfolders. Far from being a drawback, it's the natural way to group things. Absolutely do - will come. The "rocket" search all the music files on the unit in the folders or subfolders.

If you couldn't separate your own albums while organizing things on the computer, you may be courting madness. I know I would - it would list all the tracks 01 - FirstSong.mp3, 02 - SecondSong.mp3 straws, etc..

The "rocket" bed tags off the mp3s and lists them for Album, artist, etc.. But with the current firmware, if you scroll the music choices you'll also see records and, in this framework, your own names of files and folders.   So you can find things so be it: via the ID3 tags or through your own organization system.

  • Help! The files do not appear on the rocket when it is connected to the computer

I brought all my library Windows Media WMA and mp3s on my rocket using auto when I got it. For some reason, the "rocket" do not place files in the music folder or elsewhere, that I can find them when it is connected to my computer. The music folder is empty. The files appear on my rocket only when it is disconnected! It's a pain to remove things quickly. I really want to sort through hundreds of songs and remove them manually one at a time to make room for the new. Can someone please?

I'm about to use my magical powers of intuition here.

Look in settings/USB Mode. Auto-Detect, right? (Please limit your applause.)

That's your problem. It detects a different USB mode for each computer.

There are two modes USB, MSC and MTP, modified through parameters. There are also automatic detection, which goes to the PSG first, then of MSC if there is no player Windows Media on the computer.

A computer can see a way or the other: just just the MTP or MSC.  The "rocket" sees all.

DPW works with Windows Media Player. This is prbably that you have configured on your PC.

MSC works as a generic flash/thumb/disc player. This is how you connect to the Mac.

Solution: Connect to the PC and move the files of the "rocket" to the PC.  Change MSC mode and put them on the "rocket" in MSC mode.  When you connect to the Mac that they will be there. And when you connect to the computer, they will be there as well - but now you will see them in MSC mode.

  • Video playback when you turn the rocket...

    Hello

Once I have updated the firmware on my rocket yesterday (I forgot all about the update until yesterday) I started watching some South on Park and when I turned off my rocket while playing the video I went out... Now, when I came back I turned on my rocket and it freezes on me and I have to hold the switch when it goes off... I wan't to know what is the problem. Any suggestions to fix this?

BTW he never did until I updated the firmware

    I had the same problem...

Since you have the new FW installed you will need to back up all your media and format the drive again using the FORMAT command in the menu of settings on the "rocket". BTW - you will have to reformat to reset the database so that it accepts the new limit of 8 000 song. After reformat everything should work normally. I hope this helps!

  • Is there a 'Linux' way to get movies on the "rocket"?

    Good morning-

I googled a bit and have the impression that there are problems with the Sansa Media Converter same in Windows and less options for downloading movies of the "rocket" in Linux?

Someone had a bit of luck with the handbrake?  I did experiment with Handbrake to make the files 'high Profile' (described as "all the bells and whistles" to the hand brake) in .mp4 and .mkv containers, but do not know if there are parameters that make the Fuze-compatible video.

If it has been taken over recently, maybe someone could be so kind as to post a link?

    Thank you-

OK, thanks, I'm going to print that out and see if I can get there...

  • video files do not work on the rocket / battery life only half

I can't read music on my Sansa 4 GB rocket videos. I use Sansa media converter. I want to watch videos on it but I wait like 20 to 30 minutes just to appear in the menu and see just a black screen when I try to watch it. I think a new firmware update might help. Did someone herd all the rumors when a new will be available? I really like the "rocket", but I noticed that there are a lot of bugs in the programming.                                                                                                                                Also the battery life lasts about 12 hours (assumed to be 24 hours).  I have an extended through shack radio warranty is possible that they will be able to fix this?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Thank you for your time, Sansa65

Not sure of your video problem, but can only talk about music? Format (WMA, Ogg, FLAC, MP3)? Bitrate? Using MP3 at 128 Kbps should give you 24 hours. If you use FLAC or (my favorite) Oggs, or a higher rate, then you are going to consume more energy. If this is not the case and that you use 128 Kbps MP3s, then load the "rocket" completely up, play music on it until it dies (don't stop it, it stop automatically when the battery is too low), then load it completely upwards without interruption (the battery icon stops flashing and disappears from the Lightning). You should not discharge/recharge the battery as it more than twice. This should recalibrate the battery (such as, to synchronize the farm while she knows exactly how responsible it is). Sometimes, when a battery test it in the factory or use over a long period of time UN-calibrates the battery.

  • Management of playlists on the "rocket"

    Hello

like you guys have already helped with certain things, I want to give back to the community.

This is how to manage my playlists on the "rocket":

Go to http://www.foobar2000.org/ and download Foobar Player is a simple and clean mp3 player. Not as overloaded as Winamp or iTunes.

Now drag and drop the songs you want to have in your playlist to your connected rocket

Then save the playlist format *.m3u somewhere in the MUSIC folder on your rocket

Everything works correctly, you can also edit your playlists later and add or remove songs from your playlists!

I hope I could help some of you.

  • Pockets of poor quality on the rocket.

    Hey,.

I just added a few album covers using the drag-and - déposer on the "rocket". And the album art is not very clear compared to the art of the album in the songs accompanying the "rocket". So my question is how to get on the rocket high quality album art using any method (drag and drop, wmp or whatever it is.)

The "rocket" is not a very good resizing algorithm.  You tend to get much better results if you resize the art yourself.  I resize everthing to 120 x 120 (which is the size of the full display of cover art) and it's so much better when I let the art resize more great rocket, itself.
