  • Code 19 cd/dvd-rom drives is no longer recognized by windows

I have referred to these readers as R: and S:, they do not appear when I open 'my computer '. None of my media players see these discs. Earlier, I would put in one of these drives dvd or cd, and immediately started to my Media Player nominated. Thank you.

    Hello

It is not uncommon, in fact more expected than a question as this affects both drives.

19 code means there is a driver conflict such as two devices attempt to use the same resources.

Having too many CD/DVD programs can cause strange problems, especially if they're loading of parts of them.
Selves at the start because they will be competing for resources. This does not mean that this problem was caused by
These however is a possibility depending on which and how many you have installed.

    ==========================================================

    After the foregoing:

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD

    do it right.

  • U2412M, is no longer recognized by Windows 10?

    Hello

I have a Dell XPS and two monitors Dell, a U2412M and a U2415. Yesterday, I had to do a Windows 10 reset due to a software problem. However, now 10 Windows recognizes only the U2415. The U2412M he sees as a generic PnP monitor and sets a horrible resolution of 640 x 480, which is unusable.  Previously both monitors worked fine on Windows 10. I spent much of yesterday with the support staff of Microsoft, without success.  I can't find a Windows 10 driver for this monitor.  I know that I probably should have checked for a first driver, but I can't say that I have never had a problem with a monitor when changing the operating system.

    Any suggestions?

    MrkR

I had exactly the same problem. I use Win 10 and U2412M for 9 months without problem and then all of a sudden a couple of days resolution has been reset and he used the generic PnP Monitor driver. Further details on a post I did in Windows Secrets Lounge at the link below:

I finally fixed it by swapping CPU of VGA/DVI monitor connection using the lower connector on the CPU. I rebooted and immediately returned to the correct resolution.

  • Digital camera Sony DSC S-80 on USB connection fails

When I connect my camera DSC - S80 on the computer, it does not recognize the camera. If I connect the camera on another computer with Windows XP everything is ok. Who can help

    Hello Hans,.

If your camera comes with an installation CD, you must load this first and only connect your camera when asked to do so by the installation process. This will ensure that when your camera is connected the correct driver will be associated with it.

If you have connected your device first then the operting system must use the closest approximation for him and probably resulting in your camera photo was not recognized correctly.

  • Need the driver for camera Sony DSC-H300

When I connect it using the USB cable supplied, the menu of the camera trying to connect for a few seconds, then invites me to go MTP/PTP and mass storage.  Neither one works.  Device Manager sees the camera and she appears in the "other devices" topic like DSC-H300.  It appears also as DSC-H300 in Windows Explorer.  When I try to solve problems, Windows says it doesn't have the driver for this device.  Then he tries to get online, but he never finds.  He suggested that the manufacturer.  Sony support said that the driver of this camera is built into the (Windows) operating system.  Tried initializing the camera... no change.  Windows supports site recommends controls the Windows Compatibility Center "which lists thousands of devices", but the link just takes me back to a generic support page... no list of devices anywhere.  He didn't have a CD that came with the camera (new in box).  Also, I downloaded all the updates of Windows that I could. (I use auto update and I still, but I thought he couldn't quite).  Yet nowhere else.  It's ridiculous!  Windows doesn't have the driver for my camera and knows not where, or even what is the name of the file.  It is a brand new Sony camera.  How can the driver for him be such a mystery?

    Hi Ryan,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description, I understand that you are unable to find the drivers for your camera.

This could be due to hardware conflicts.

I first suggest you to run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check if that helps.

This camera is not supported by Lightroom so that he can't read raw files. You will have to wait for the next version of Lightroom. When this happens is not known outside of Adobe.
