Sony HDR-XR150

I use CS4 4.2.1 version and have just bought a second camera (Sony HDR-XR150) and after you import the clips that they play OK in the tracking Source but in only the center of the clip Watch program monitor during playback - as it is enlarged real close.  I tried everything and have searched some topics, but can not find a solution.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I have the HDR-XR150. When I download the files on my computer, the only program I have that will recognize them is the software to play the memories. I want to share my videos, but I can't seem to download to play memories via the software. It just freezes. When I go on the site and try to download the videos, it does not recognize the file type which are my videos. How can it not when it's the camera that puts them in this format? I wish I could share my videos, but the only way I've found that I can do that by converting. When I do that the quality of the videos goes down. Any help with the software that I could use, or any easier way that I can share my videos would be greatly appreciated!

    Hey LDOOTEN,

Welcome to the community of Sony!

To answer your question regarding the sharing of AVCHD files, unfortunately files AVCHD cannot be shared as is. The only option you have is to convert them to mp4 format. MP4 format is easier to share that it can be read by a large number of other software. Another option that you can do to share your AVCHD files is to burn them as AVCHD discs, using the Software House Playmemories.

  • Capture Clips from Sony HDR - XR1500

Is someone can you please tell me if I can capture video Clips of my high definition Sony Camcorder HDR-XR150. If so, how? Or what I need to have new software to do? Currently, each clip is captured via PMB with xxx.m2ts file extension, xxx.m2ts.modd and xxx.m2ts.moff whatever they may be. The .m2ts seems to be the main, for example size 4 512 KB, the modd is 2 KB. and the .moff is 32 KB.

Any help how I can import/capture my clips to change would be greatly appreciated.

Your camcorder is an AVCHD cam. If you capture video of her - you download video clips of him. (Also, your cam shoots in several formats. So if you want to edit the video in Premiere Elements, make sure that you shoot only mode orFH FX.)

To do this, attach your camcorder to your computer via the USB port and turn it on. Then use Premiere Elements' Get Media / AVCHD, camcorder disc and Flip hard tool to download video on your computer and in your project.

Make sure your project settings are are configured for AVCHD 1920 x 1080 stereo video format. It is VERY important. If you are unsure how to do this, see my free basic training videos to the support site of first Elements Muvipix.com.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/537685?TSTART=0

You'll need a fairly powerful computer to edit AVCHD. So ideally, your computer must have a quad core processor, or i7 with 4 GB of RAM and hundreds of gigabytes of free space.

In addition, it is difficult to make any recommendation without knowing the specifications of your computer and operating system and the version of Premiere Elements that you handle.

If you would like more information about the program and how to use it with various video sources, consult my books.

  • Hey how can guys, I use a microphone for Sony HDR-PJ410?

What are the external microphones compatible with this camcorder? I asked support Chat and say what they

"You must first connect the external microphone to the microphone of the camera port". Where is the microphone port?

    Hello, jeffrufino!

I'm sure that it is not possible to use an external microphone for Sony HDR-PJ410 doesn't have an external mic port. I looked in the manual for this product from Sony, and I can't find anything on the attachment of an external mic. So, I don't think you can use an external microphone with this camcorder.

    Best regards

  • How to turn off the microphone for sony hdr-pj260v

How to turn off the microphone for sony hdr-pj260v

    Hi dstrakal,

Option to disable the built-in microphone is not available in the camcorder. However, the camcorder has an input jack to connect an external microphone, there are two possible solutions for this:

    1. Connect a microphone with a switch ON / OFF the microphone on the camcorder decision-making. Then, set the switch to the external microphone to the OFF position. This will disable the microphone on the camcorder.

    2. Connect a dummy stereo mini plug to the microphone on the camcorder Jack.

  • I have a Sony HDR - HC3 HDV and want to download only the parts of a video

I have been using a Sony HDR - HC3 Handycam HDV1080i VCR for many years and have been able to download parts of a video on the part of the band whenever I wanted to.  The camera recently died and I replaced it with an exact version that I still had the band to download videos, so I decided to buy a used recorder which manages the same MiniDV tapes.  When I go to download the only now allows me to download the whole band or nothing.  Someone can explain why this is and is anyway to download portions at a time?   I save machines under tension and can pass from one to the other before I had a chance to download them.

    Thank you

    Paul

  • My Sony HDR-CX150 is not connecting to my computer and says prepare... and stays like that

My Sony HDR-CX150 is not connecting to my computer and when I select "USB connection" said preparation... and stay that way for hours without success. Someone can help me.

    Hello Mohammad.
Welcome to the community of Sony.

The camcorder appears above all by establishing the connection with the computer. Depending on the speed of the computer, the time to establish a connection can vary. If the problem is still not resolved, connect the camera to a different USB port on the computer. Additionally, make sure that you use the dedicated, supplied with the camcorder USB cable to connect it to the computer. Alternatively, you can contact our team of technical support for additional troubleshooting steps.
