Sony NXCAM LPCM audio is nothing but WHISTLE import

Anyone else having this problem? Excellent audio sounds in propriertary Sony import application content.

Platform: 32-bit Vista (I know, I know), 8 GB ram, pentium dual core, CS 4 running WITHOUT latest patch.

I have the new Sony NXCAM (which, moreover, I you LIKE), but on my first import a file by using the non compressed, audio LPCM codec is the only thing I get high gain hiss.

I can only work with AC-3 codec first? Which sucks. I need to find a way to convert all audio data in LPCM in AC - 3 clips...

Ugh.

Jack - incompatibility of the first Pro CS4 with audio linear PCM NXCAM still exists.  I suspect the next CS4 update will fix it, but I did not promise that will be done.  Of course, it works very well with Sony Vegas Pro 9 (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/vegaspro ).  It also works with Apple Final Cut 7, but the import of files is very time consuming.  If you have CS4 bow use Dolby instead of his LPCM. -Bill

  • AVDHD - Sony NXCAM - Render issues

    Hello world

I searched all over the forums and the rest of the Internet and still can't find a definitive answer, so I need some help, please!

Here are the specs of the system:

    Camera:

    Sony NXCAM (AVCHD Format)

The camera seems to use the mp4/h264 codec, according to the manual.

    Shooting:

Video: 1080 / 30 p (to the highest flow setting)

    Audio: 16 bit LPCM

    Workstation:

    Windows 7

    Intel Xeon Quad-Core processor 2.67

    6 GB memory

    NVidia Quadro 2000

Here are the steps I used:

1 copy the original film on a folder on the computer (I was copying the entire AVCHD folder so the meta-data, etc. all are here).

    2. create a new project and sequence in Premiere Pro. I tried many different formats, but one I use is under the Presets 'AVCHD'-> AVCHD 1080 30 p 29.97 fps at 1920 x 1080. This is the same exact setting, we are to record on the camera... camera settings are progressive and not interlaced, and they are also not anamorphic. I understand that there are differences in what is 'better' or what is really him be saved (30 p or 60i)... I saw that in the owner's manual, it says 'vidéo Signal' system is HDTV 1080/60i, 720/60 p. Whatever it is, the settings on the camera are set to 1080 30 p.

    3. I can import with media success in the media tray in a Premiere Pro project.

It is here where there are a few questions:

    4. when I preview the clips, they are very nervous, a few dropouts and artifacts and appear to have a wobbly movement for them. Note - once they are released, it disappears.

    5. to bring the clips on the timeline - it always shows a red line above the clip, indicating it should be made. Usually, the amount of time it takes to return is equal to the real time... I was working on a project today with 2 h 30 m of clips and it took over 2 hours to render. I called Adobe support and the person on the phone ASSURED me that EACH clip must be made... my answer was "even if the sequence settings are the EXACT same as the clip? ', and he assured me that each item must be made always... which I don't believe. If the sequence settings are good, there is no reason that the clip should have to make.

I understand that. The MTS files must be stored and compressed strongly to be put on a memory card - then is it always a necessary step? The files must be "decompressed" somehow? If so, why not just use tapes as before? The entire reason that our video device to tapeless formats was because of the ease in the workflow. Need almost in real-time to all, which is the big advantage of using a tapeless format?  I understand that there are updates in version 5.5, but I'm not sure that we can upgrade at this point, the budget concerns.

Any help would be much appreciated - as I said, we called support and did not want that we received a. Yet once again, we would like to do is to be able to import our images and begin to change it without having to make raw images... a lot of the clips that we have to work are just raw, uncut video files that need to be burned to dvd in time for training purposes. Thanks again for your support.

    Dave,

First of all, make sure that you don't drag the film to the button new item until it is correctly interpreted, using the method that Jeff mentioned. If you do not correctly interpret the images first, the sequence will be created using the wrong settings, cause more problems down the line. You can change the interpretation of several clips at once by selecting all and then using the command film; from there, you can use any of these clips to create a sequence, or simply use the correct sequence parameter (you already have the right pair) to start.

Second, do not worry on the yellow line; who will always appear with a material such as AVCHD. This means it will playback in real time in the sequence, but there is no way to export the video AVCHD bit for bit. This isn't a big worry - your going to go to other formats of delivery, so that the rendering is just a fact of life.

Thirdly, to the extent possible, use the predefined sequence that corresponds to your images, or at least the majority of it. If all you have is 30 p, 30 p and export edit, you can set various methods of delivery.

Finally, the jitter/stutter you see is probably a simple preview preference; Right click on the Source or program monitor, or click on the button of output in both and read Full resolution. By default, the AVCHD clips are set at a resolution of 1/2 during playback (it's less demanding of the computer) and the nature of AVCHD, you will see what seems to be the break-up and other nastiness during playback. Note that this will require more computer for playback at full resolution, but according to your editing and your computer, this should not be a major problem.

  • Sony NXCAM and first Pro CS 5.5.2 crash (Win7)

    Hello

We recently had a Sony NXCAM. Turn in SD only (until next year!), is not a problem with any particular HD format. Until we got this camera, we used Panasonic P2s exclusively. Our leader has had good luck with these Sonys (certainly editing in view AVCHD and export to DVD for most), he decided to give a try out for the news.

When we started to use the Panasonic P2s, we had a guy for an hour with video clips into premeiere in a stereo clip and we who need divided in mono (due to how we often capture in the area where the microphone cam on is for nat sound, while the microphone attached is for the audio of the interview - it is recorded in the same clip simply as one side or the other). It was also during the days of Premeiere crashing whenever you tried to adjust the stereo audio gain (who in fact gone?). In any case, that is resolved and the systems were stable and works very well for two or three years apart from the occasional question with full disc readers (journalists NEVER DELETE anything, ARG, smash! ).

Until this month: we have a journalist who has used this Sony and each time she edits she knows crashes when it adjusts audio (gain, I think), which of course reminds me of the problem that we had with the Panasonics and their MXF wrapped MPEG2 clips. That said, we have the same settings of project bringing in video MPEG2 from Sony with all tracks in mono, and I have a feeling that is what to change, I'm not sure how. There must be something in the way that the clips are configured, but I can't understand what the difference is and more importantly still what I have to do to fix it. I am including a screenshot of GSPOT info on the file. We use up-to-date drivers, and Adobe is updated to the latest version and the system worked very well for the past two years, with the exception of the question of the end. We do not use the Sony software to convert the clips simply because we have no need to film extra long clips and they join perfectly on the timeline, if we do it, or have so far at least. Who and its native format for SD MPEG2, precisely what we need. In any case, I'd love help on this if anyone has any ideas.

Is there a better answer for. MOV then? My understanding is that the body needs QT to interact correctly with the .mov files. I'll gladly get rid of it if I can maintain the ability to use and view the .mov files. I can't bear to QT and the Apple update. I don't want iTunes, nor I will ever be. Thank you.

The point on the topic well. We are confirmed that there is no problem with the mpeg2 on CS6 files. We have a Sony and CS6 laptop, we call chance and move along. Not sure why CS5.5 hate sony files, but it does. My guess is that it has something to do with how CS5.x manages the audio (where the problem audio crash since the first versions of 5.0).

Of course, I have another problem with CS6 entirely, but it will be another thread.

  • Audio out of sync AFTER importation

    Hello how are you?

I've been looking for a solution for a while, but I can't seen to find.

The thing is... I captured some footage of gameplay, with the files that last an hour or even more.

When I look at the files in any player (Windows Media Player, VLC, Media Player Classic), they play very well, the audio and the video seems to be on the synchronization, and click OK.

But after I import into Adobe Premiere, it is just out of sync. Even when I look in the Source monitor before dragging to the timeline.

It seems that there is a problem when the sponsor of audio.

But even the length of time is different from the original, there are some frameworks or even seconds of difference inside the first.

What is happening with different codecs AVI (from FRAPS), H.264 (with audio AAC and MP3)...

I tried to clean the cache, remove the software and reinstall it again, conversion - all.

Some say it is a recurring bug on Adobe Premiere. Is there a patch or something that I could do?

It is really strange that the problems occur AFTER the import. Apart from the first is fine, so there is no problem with the catch, right?

I would appreciate if someone can help me. Thank you very much!

Hey I don't know if you have found an answer to your problem to someone else, but I had the same problem before, and I've finally found a solution I would like to share.

For my problem, it's the Visual of my webcam which became the desynchronization of audio from my webcam on top of my gameplay videos. Now, I'm not a computer genius, but I discovered that the recording devices can record in "variable framerate" or "constant framerate. If a vid becomes out of sync with itself in Adobe Premiere but not out of sync when we look outside Adobe Premiere, it's because it was recorded in "variable framerate. What variable framerate means that it cycles/changes managers at different rates throughout the video, making the video a different in Adobe Premiere as the original video outside length of Adobe Premiere.

I downloaded a video converter called Handbrake. In Handbrake, I imported just the video I wanted to convert and edit a variable "framerate" option to "constant framerate. After that my webcam images has been transformed into "constant framerate", I imported the new webcam images in Adobe Premiere and everything was in harmony at last!

I hope this help anyone who had the same problem.

Try using the import option in the Bookmark Manager (also known as the name of the library)

    1. In Firefox, select the bookmarks menu, then "organize bookmarks" open library
    2. In the library, select "Import and backup" then "Import HTML.

  • Sony XBR-55X850D audio sync problem with Xbox One S

Recently bought a new Sony X850D 55 '' TV, it's my 3rd Sony TV the past 10 years, and the first I had a problem with.

I use the TV mostly for games on my Xbox One S, but have found that there is some dramatic audio synchronization problems. The sound coming out behind what is displayed on the screen (IE. Close door, sound audible is later). Xbox is connected to the TV via HDMI to input 1. I also have a bar of his (CT380) connected via HDMI output HDMI-4 ARC.

I tried with and without the Soundbar without result. 3 different cords HDMI do nothing. Using my old Xbox One compared to the new One S has no difference. Question was not present on my old Sony TV. Tried with ClearAudio on and out, no change. I can't find all the parameters of sound synchronization in both of the TV, bar, or Xbox.

    Running Version 5.1.1

    Thank you

    Jerome,

I could solve my problem using HDMI from the Xbox to the sound bar HDMI then another sound to the TV bar.

    Thanks for the good help!
