  The XAV-601BT will support Samsung GalaxyS3 with MirrorLink after August 14 (available at esupport.sony.com) firmware update. Since the update of the firmware is scheduled for Aug. 14, the date may be subject to change without notice.

• XAV-701HD questions, even after the update - changing Staion, no sound after the cycle of keys.

  I have a Sony XAV-701HD installed in my 09 Ram. I have had for a while now and still have problems even after the last update of the firmware. Since I installed the radio, the stations would change when I turn off the key and then restart the truck. Ususally a station off where I was listening. Then I noticed that when you listen to a CD, if I stop the truck, stop, and restart, I have sometimes no sound from the CD unit that change source to something else then back to CD. In addition, it seems to take an eternity for the CD start playing when I insert one, or when I start the truck every morning. Sometimes the CD start just up, other times not. Now, I've added SiurisXM to the unit, and I noticed that when I turn the key off the coast, and then back on, the device will not be playing Sirius Music until I have changing source, let the next launch of source for play, then switch back to sirius. I'm a professional installer, I know all my wiring is good, everything works. My Kenwood has worked perfectly in the same truck for 2 years before I changed to the Sony. Any ideas?

  
  

• Sony XAV601BT MirroLink is a big failure, I want my money

  I bought a car stereo 601BT Sony XAV in the hope to use my phones with MirroLink navigation application. I tried a Blackberry Curve (which he said that he supported). He did not, and I went to a gingerbread android (HTC Explorer). Does not work too. Now I have a Nexus 4, which of course does not work, with a message that says: USB device not supported. It's terrible here is anyphone it supports? What work aorunds do I, firmware updates or whatever it is on the stereo that can help?

  I'm sorry that you are not satisfied with your XAV601BT. If you visit the link below, you will find all the compatible devices currently supported with Mirrorlink. At this time the only Android based phones supports mirrorlink is the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy 2 Note (Note 2 are not in the URL below, as it has been added).

  I am really disappointed that since updating to iOS 10 on my iPhone 6 I can jump is no longer pieces of music using the buttons on my Sony car stereo when my phone is connected. The forward Skip button does nothing and the rear bucket go up to the beginning of the game and no further track. It is very annoying (if not downright dangerous) to have to fiddle with the phone while I'm driving to jump tracks. Car stereo controls still work fine with my iPod.

  Everyone knows this? Does anyone have a solution?

  Thank you for joining the communities Support from Apple! Looks like you're wanting to know if you can sync your Walkman to iTunes. That's a big question! The good news is that there is a link on the Sony site that has information and steps for synchronization: How to transfer music from the iTunes software from Apple for the Walkman player using the content transfer software.

  IMPORTANT:

  • If you do not have the latest version of the Content Transfer application already installed on your computer, it may be available on the Support of Sony® Web site (for applicable models). The updated software and the driver for your Sony product are available online.
  • Alternatively, you can install the application from a CD included (if applicable) or a file on your Walkman® player (if any). Check your manual for more information on installing the included software. Information manuals, specifications and warranty for your Sony product is available online.
  • Installation of Content Transfer (Windows version only) requires the Windows Media Player 11 software.
  • It is recommended to use the Apple® iTunes® version 9 or later with the software Content Transfer of version 1.3 or later.

  Follow this procedure to transfer iTunes DRM files Plus® or other files containing not DRM, such as MP3 files, on your portable player using the Apple iTunes software:

  iMovie 11 (version 9) supported cameras include not all models Sony FDR.  iMovie 10 supports a number of FDR-AXxx models however does not list your a see particular: iMovie support cameras - Apple Support

  There are a number of problems of running iMovie 11 under El Capitan, particularly with still pictures appears.  (It does not supports video 4K).  I recommend try iMovie 10.1.2 which you should be able to get in for free or may already have in your applications folder.  Although your camera model in particular is still not listed, I would expect it would probably work, and failing that you should be able to read files directly from the SD card if you put in an SD card reader.

  The TV will not display on your computer screen. Your computer appears on the TV screen if you have selected the right input HDMI on your TV menu.

  Depends on the type of video you want to edit and deliver.  I'd rather pull the same I have to deliver.  If there is a lot of action, a movement fast, faster frame rates.  Talking heads frame rate, slower.  But it can be subjective as to what 'look' that you will, too.  1080, 720, 4K, they are no better or worse at different frame rates, different frame rates that give you different options of post production and to specific "looks like".

  So, let me ask you; What is your final delivery location?  Where / how t - he was seen?

  I believe that if you open iBooks, you can drag and drop books from your library on the desktop of your Macbook. It will export the books as an Epub file, you can install on your Ereader as you normally would.

  I think that you open your Ereader in Finder and drag and drop it in the folder it. At least this is how I do it on my Kindle.

  Give it a try, see if it works for you also.

  I had intermittent problems with the download failures. Today, I tried an update of the firmware of Sony A99 and he failed twice. I dropped Fire fox and used IE. Result was quick and my camera has the most recent Version.
