  Just upgraded my computer at work that we are doing more work for our customers currently and I wanted to take it to the next level with a few videos instead. First Elements 9 installed (and after some minor problems) works reasonably well.

  We do a quick e-mailable (less than 10 MB) film to send to multiple recipients (including a soundtrack).

  We aim for around 40secs altogether.

  Now... In courses run in Snow Leopard on a new Mac, I found only one type of file that I can export to who actually allows me to watch the video on my Mac. Even the mpg files do not play in iTunes or QT (even most of the .mov files do not play in quicktime format )

  The file type only I learned to work until this is a .mov with a vid of test I did, but it was around 325 MB 01:30 min videos!

  Anyone able to shed some light on this at all?

  Just in case it helps at all, the movie will have to be playable by Mac and PC, preferably (if only one, then the PC because most of our customers is based on PC)

  It is virtually impossible to create a video that small, Jeb - at least one that is still visible quality.

  Even if create you it as a Flash or animated gif, it is small enough.

  This is why the videos are not sent by e-mail. It's much better to put the video on a website and then email a link to this site in the e-mail message.

  Yes, another question regarding the freezing of Safari.

  From a little over a month (I think), Safari started freezing regularly whenever I want to open new tabs or switch between tabs. I found myself to leave the program several times per day / hour. I can't identify any specific common cause (other than my MacBook being old) or any new software or updates that might have initiated the question. At first I thought he might have many tabs, I tried to open, but recently it happens even with only a few tabs open.

  I worked through the steps I found in this forum and others: empty the cache, start in safe mode, etc nothing works.

  Based on the previous suggestions, I have downloaded and run EntreReport which I included below. The note and maybe just a distraction, but EntreReport has crashed three times tonight, before he was able to produce the sub report. I ran the report after restarting my system with no other programs running.

  Suggestions are welcome at this stage because I want to start using Chrome or Firefox because I like the transfer procedure between my devices.

• Another Question... Pasted the first album... but does not work properly

  Another question - I stuck my first file (wpa without loss) from the album on my rocket and when I go to him, he travels only (so 1,2,3, etc. and then it again.)  The songs look like they have any length, if that makes sense.  The bottom bar is from 0:00 0:00.  The strange thing is the player will play all music pre-loaded there, and when I tried to copy a song the player on the computer off, he played.  It is therefore not the file of the song itself I guess.

  WMA Lossless is not a supported audio format. Which means that it won't work. You will need to re-Ripper in plain ' ol .wma, .mp3, .ogg or .flac format.

  You burned discs with other programs using this computer? Are you sure that you have a drive that will burn the disks?

• Another question about Dates

  Hi, I have another question regarding the use of the field date in Adobe Designer 8.  I have the updated domain in place so that the person can enter the date, lets say, 12/12/11 and it will convert to December 12, 2011, or, the user can click on the calendar that is attached to the date field and make a date selection.  My question is this.  Is there a way that can not only the calendar go to any date by selecting < or >, but can also go to an exercise < < or > >?  We have contracts that extend from 2 to 3 years and want this option to be available.

  The calendar widget allows you to select other years.

  When you open the calendar, click on the name of the month, the calendar will show you every month of the current year.

  When you then click on the year, it shows you all the years of the current decade.

  C:\Documents and settings\stemcg\my Documents\My pictures\

  I looked at the link at the top... when I right click on the files and selecetd add a parent folder that it changed the view of annual records being next to each other for example...

  I then right click on the folder with the least number of photos in there for example

  I pointed out the Selection tool in the same folder that is my perso\Mon pictures\2010. Then, he gave me a prompt to merge the files... It merged then deleted the My Pictures folder and added photos in the folder above... it looks like now

• Dell Optiplex 320 yet an another Question of Ram

  Hello

  I have an Optiplex 320 and it seems do not like this kind of ram. I tried this and several other modules I had to hang out with the exact specifications of same. My question is, what makes Hynix so special that it works with the optiplex? Is there something owner seeks the mobo?

  With the Hynix ram the machine starts fine, no problem. With the Kingston (and other brands) of PC2-5300 it don't POST and gives me the 1-3-2 beep code.

  Here's what I did to solve problems. (I've got 2 identical Optiplex 320 I did this troubleshooting)

  • Reinstall and reinstall the modules of resettlement
  • Install the latest version of the BIOS. (ending in12)
  • Delete and remove cmos
  • I tried PC2-6400
  • CUSS at it
  • Deleted graphics card
  • Attempt 1 module at a time

  Basically, what is the difference?

  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  Yes, the DRAM is can be a huge pain for materials developers.  "Today", most hardware designers use models tested beforehand and DRAM pre-approved and layouts.  But not all of us have this chance.  There are times when custom DRAM controllers are needed.  And someone has to do the designs which use a lot of other hardware engineers. :-)  Then, the DRAM manufacturers provide detailed hardware simulation models and precise signal integrity models.

  I'm a fan of Intel, not so much a fan of the DRAM factory.  So I look at it, it's basically like this, that the Intel chips have good tolerances.  This is the DRAM chips which vary tolerances and more.

  Also, is the "fastest" DRAM * not * always work in a system that isn't spec'd for it.  The fastest DRAM also "can carry data more quickly after the clock (one of many waiting time parameters).  So in this case, it depends if that specific DRAM contains the data a bit longer (this fine and in spec), or this memory controller specific Intel is able to work with data held not valid so that requires the Intel specification.

  Also, voltage, temperature, aging, all come into play in the electronics of the real life and tolerances.
  Then, you can see why some people say "XYZ" works in _my_ system.  But, who can * not * always be the case with each system.  It can work in 90% of the systems, and then these 10% are screwed.  So this is why * I * have different opinions on which suggests improvements.
  * I * don't want these 10%, 20%, 70%, either, to screw.

  I see the Corsair Memory recommended as work for? ~ 99.99%? of the people.  So, maybe 1 in 10,000 will be out of luck trying the upgrade?
  My _guess_ is that Dell has between a 5-sigma and sigma-6 rates of their PC and max upgrades memory failure.

  I received the email from BB with the link to the App Store, I click on the link in the email through my BB and be taken to a page telling me that my phone is not supported.

  I think I did what I'm supposed to do here, I free memory, the right software etc.

  Any chance to get the App store on my phone or I will give just straight up?

  Ah, I think I see the confusion. There is no such thing as using a fraction of a nucleus within a single cycle. You CAN use all of a nucleus for a fraction of the total cycles over a period of time, but a physical core is busy or idle. There is no in-between, especially since we are ignoring hyperthreading in this example.

  All of a core to aid for a fraction of the total time in a given sampling period, is what gives the illusion of the use of 'part' of a core. Split in fact one heart in this way would require States and the architecture that simply do not exist in the x 86 world.

  Note that in the article by Frank Denneman he calls specifically free cycles "shopping on ' Planner. In your example, there will be always 1 free cycle at any time. There are 1000 cycles per second in your original example, and many of these cycles may be free, but there is never more than one at a time.

  To say things, otherwise, you cannot use all 1000 MHz in the first millisecond.

  The paragraph you cited in the guide to management resources assumes a Jepp 2 GHz. keep in mind that any measure of frequency REQUIRES a time interval. There is no literal split 'given time' is implied here. What they're saying is that if over a certain period of time, say a second, VM1 only consumes 500 cycles and ask no more, then VM2 is welcome to help itself to one of the unused 500 cycles initially entitled to VM1, and cycles of 1000 that VM2 was already entitled.

  Hi everyone - I feel like this issue has been beaten to death, but I'm not super techno and it is very hard for me to decipher the many solutions that have been offered in this forum.

I want to use it to allow the user to select a checkbox that should be updated then a varchar2 column (1) in my table of database with a "Y" or "n" depending on whether the box is checked. In a simple form of APEX it works easily and without any problems that I can choose the plugin Simple checkbox in the dropdown list of "display as" for a given when creating the form item.
  
  In a tabular presentation there is no option to select the plugin simple checkbox for display "like." So can I assume that this is not supported and so I need to use the apex_item.checkbox function in my select statement?
  
  I tried this and I see a box on my sub form of table, but when I select the check box for a given row, and click Update I get this error:
  

  'Current version of data in database has changed since user initiated update process. current row version identifier = "9660AA52272606105296577232D033C7" application row version identifier = "AC661FC2F31800615ABE16CA014BB96F" (Row 1)'

  I looked at the example of the Dene here > http://deneskubicek.blogspot.com/2008/10/tabular-form-checkbox-for-setting.html, but I just can't believe that this a lot of code is needed to do something so simple.
  
  I have a http://apex.oracle.com sample app installation where I have reproduced my setup:

  Workspace: Leppard
  username/pw: guest/app_1000
  MyTestApp > MyTabularForm.
  The column in question is 'Checkbox' and the db column in Emp is also named chechbox.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  The error you are getting is because your column name is different from the column name in your query.

  I changed your query to this ("CheckBox" checkbox)

  select
  "ROWID",
  "EMPNO",
  "ENAME",
  "JOB",
  "MGR",
  "HIREDATE",
  "SAL",
  "COMM",
  "DEPTNO",
  "CHECKBOX"
  from "#OWNER#"."EMP"
  

  Your box was also no definition LOV so I wrote 'Y, N' it

  It seems to work now.

• Yet another question of model

  Recently, my model started inserting his own repertoire of all the URLs in the site when I update the pages, so:
  
  href = "site/index.htm"
  
  became:
  
  href="site/templates/index.htm".
  
  The links in the site are enterred like this:
  
  href = "Stories.htm"
  
  For a page that is located in the directory of the site. The model transformed into:
  
  href = ' templates/Stories.htm'
  
  This just started happening. Before that, there was no problem. No idea why this happens and what to do about it?

  Thanks for your quick response. I'm helping a friend here and what threw me was that it works and then suddenly wasn't. Of course, I don't know what she could do to cause that, even if she is not conscious of having anything other than make a small change and update related files to the model. I discovered that inserting a "... / ' from each link solved the problem. Here are answers to your questions:

  NO.

  > Are you put these links of coding, or by searching for the target files?

  I don't know, but try the method browse inserts the "... / 'syntax in front of the link." (should have tried it immediately)

  > Can we see your template page?

  I think this is resolved, so...

  The speed of the memory on systems T6x and X6x bus is only 667 MHz (PC2-5300), if you don't win anything by inserting the faster RAM (800 MHz PC2-6400) prorated in these systems, although the system will accept this type of RAM... The 6400 RAM won't work at a speed of 667 MHz.

• Sorry, but another question of charger

  My wife is a universal charger that has a USB port to this topic.   It's here, what do you think?

• Yet another question of password

Tried to use the instructions in section # 740765 but who overcharged a username and a password. Is there a way to do a restore system without login?
