Sort by calculated value

Hi guys,.

I have a column in my rich text that displays the value calculated using the following syntax

<? xdofx:(MATH01+MATH02+MATH03+MATH04+MATH05+AA+AA1) + ((FNDCD01+FNDCD02+FNDCD03+FNDCD04+FNDCD05+MCHCD01+MCHCD02) div ' 8')? >

I need to have the data sorted in ascending order, by the above calculated value, I tried to use sort with the content of the support above, but somehow he refuses to add the content of FNDCD01, FNDCD02, etc., because they are of a different data type, strangely enough the XDOFX can display the sum properly... But I need to sort through it and perhaps to apply a conditional formatting based on the value of the calculation...

It would be appreciated any help about it with gratitude.

Kind regards

Karine

  • Calculated value in the upper part of the table?

    Hello
    I am writing a report from scratch to use E-Business Suite. I created my definition of data and model RTF, but am struggling with a requirement of the company on the model.

    We have a tabular report that has some data. The company now want a calculated value that can be displayed on the report, but they want it at the top of the report, rather than the end. So I need to make the report (because then the variables from the report are filled and the calculation is done) but then display the result of this before the report. Is this possible? Pointers are appreciated.

  • Calculation value that is used in the Condition of year-round

    I found that if I have a text field element in a region and I put its value in a calculation (after the region) that this element will not work in a "condition to evaluate.

    Text field element is FirstName. No set of default values and "always replace...". "
    Calculation (after the regions), the value as a static assignment to JOHN.

    There is a second computation (after Regions) for another article with a condition. The condition is "the point value to expressin 1 = value of element in the expression 2".
    First name in JOHN and expression1 in expression2.

    When I look at the debugging session FirstName prepares to JOHN, but the second calculation does not run.

    Now if I give FirstName, a default value of JOHN where the element is defined, then the second calculation runs.
    It appears to me that something different is happening with a calculated value that does not allow to use in a condition. Can anyone help.
    Thank you very much.

    Hello

    I tried to reproduce your case:

    I have a region containing two elements P6_X1 and P6_X2 (no default value and always...):
    For P6_X1, I created the static calculation (after region, sequence 1)
    For P6_X2, I created the math static (after region, order of the sequences 10) with the conditon (value of the element / column is 1 Expression = Expression 2), where Expression1 = P6_X1 and Expression2 = JOHN

    And in my case it works:

    You can see what is happening in my debug

    0.09112 0.00030 Computation point: After Box Body
    0.09142     0.00031     ...Perform computation of item: P6_X1, type=STATIC_ASSIGNMENT
    0.09173     0.00046     ...Performing static computation
    0.09219 0.00093 ...Session State: Save "P6_X1" - saving same value: "JOHN"
    0.09312     0.00031     ...Perform computation of item: P6_X2, type=STATIC_ASSIGNMENT
    0.09342     0.00039     ...Performing static computation
    0.09381 0.00038 ...Session State: Save "P6_X2" - saving same value: "LITTLE"

    Have you checked the sequence of your calculation?
    What is your exact condition for the calculation? For expression2 don't you user JOHN or "JOHN"?

  • How to develop lines of a table of calculated value of a field

    Hello

    I'm defining the lines of an extendable table following the calculated value of a field.

    The calculated field comes from two date fields that are used to calculate the number of days and I want my table/line to expand depending on this number...

    Is is possible? At this moment I have a button that adds an instance "Admin_Use.Table3._Row1.addInstance (1);" but I want to be triggered by the calculated field to the place...

    Thank you very much!!!

    Hello

    Here is the form to the you: https://acrobat.com/#d=AmNfJzA-jGLL9-moO888IA.

    Have a look at the script of the calculate of the TotalDays event. Because you use the calculate event, it is important that you set the number of instances of the first line and the last line of the script in this case statement is setting the value of the object ($ = i).

    Hope that helps,

  • Store the calculated values in a table

    I do a program that computes a value double whenever the user clicks an OK button. For this I use a while above the NO-SCOPE loop that generates a new signal of each cross and a while loop around the code that I use (it requires the use of a while loop). I wonder, how can I keep a value whenever it is calculated in a list or table so that the user can see all the values.

  • Maintaining a calculated value for iterative calculation

    LabVIEW Forum Dear members,

    It may seem like a trivial question, but I'm having trouble with this problem using the LabVIEW vi & environment.  I explain as follows:

    I need calculate and display as a graph, the content of a hopper which is initially filled to 100 tons.  The hopper is to be released and filled at the same time, I have values for filling and discharge in 1 second intervals.  The contents of the hopper is a calculation simple mass balance, hopper content = materials of entry - exit.  Here are the first few sets of data:

    Material in hopper off content theoretical hopper hopper

    0                                     0                                                 100

    0                                     1.534057                                   98.465943

    0,345 5,250186 93.560757

    0.6                                       6.801075                                   87.359682

    How can I calculate iteratively and use the calculation "Content theoretical Hopper" hopper upstream and downstream?  I use the Simulation & control framework so I can't use the loop in this frame.  Attached is the program vi far and Graph2 XY build is where I'm wanting to display these data in content of hopper.

    Any help would be appreciated gratefully.

  • Calculate intermediate values and calculated values

    I use OPA for a week or two and now understand how to structure evaluations logics, hierarchies, etc.

    Now, as the calculations become more complex, I was wondering if it is possible to calculate the variables to be used in further calculations.

    A good example may be I want to calculate the age of the subject for use in several calculations later in the logic.  I have an incoming parameter that provides the subject of birth date - can I somehow fill a variable like "age of the subject = the number of years between the date of the topic of birth and the date of the day?   "I want to fill ' age of the subject ' with a number instead of evaluate what true or false - is it possible?

    The second part of the question, it is that I want the web service to return "the age of the subject" as the parameter value.

    Thank you!

    In Oracle Policy Modeling, 'attributes', the 'entities' and the 'relationships' are the terms that you will be interested.  Attributes can be Boolean, or can be a value of various types of data.  Consult the help for your version and search attributes, entities and relationships.   A base attribute such as 'age in years' value can be calculated from other attributes such as "the data of birth of the person."  An attribute that is provided as input via an external system or via an interactive interview is also called a base level attribute, while a determined political base don attribute can be an intermediate attribute (both determined and used as a condition to determine another attribute), or call a top-level attribute (determine on the basis of politics) (, but not used as a condition).  The aid also includes examples of policies that are used to calculate the values of attributes.

  • Calculation value of axis based on, click in the chart area.

    Hey there, I'm still working on my graphic feature and so far I've been able to get help on these forums.

    I need to be able to calculate the values of the corresponding axis in a click in the chart area. I see no real utility method in the NumberAxis class which will help me to do it. The only thing I can think is to get the bounds of the array and that relate to what I know about the range of the values I put in.

    It is a line chart with two NumberAxis. I want to display on click, (x, y)-value as PR. the axis of the point clicked. Is it possible that I can do this easily, or I just need to design a work around?

    Yes, it's a little tricky, but not too bad. It would be probably good for XYChart have public X getXValue (Point2D) and the public methods of getYValue (Point2D) Y. This works, however:

  • Conditional display in the text box based on the calculated value

    Hello

    I have radio buttons that each have a numerical value. For example = 1 A = 2 C = 0. In the example below, the total is equal to 5.
    examplescreen01.gif

    The sum is displayed at the bottom of the document and is passed to another text box:

    examplescreen02.gif

    Instead of '5' displayed in the text box on the right, it should display a "Control" Word like this:
    examplescreen03.gif

    The displayed word is based on the totals through this range:

    1-2 = 'absorbing '.

    3-4 = 'practitioner '.

    5 to 6 = "control".

    The script I used to pass the value from the left to the right text box in the chart above is:

    name of the field to text box;

    var cTextBox = 'Cabinet Talent strategy knowledge - total';

    get the value of the field with the name in cTextBox;

    var sTextBox = this.getField ("cTextBox") .value;

    Set the value of this field;

    Event.Value = sTextBox;

    That I need to add to this script to show one of the words, such as "control" above?

    I am a complete novice to scripting. I found the above script online and somehow got it to work.

    I thank very much for any help or pointers, you can provide.

    Best regards

    Chris

    Sorry, there were some errors in the code that I provided above. Try this:

    If (sTextBox > = 1 & sTextBox)<= 2)="">

    Event.Value = "absorbing";

    } ElseIf (sTextBox > = 3 & sTextBox)<= 4)="">

    Event.Value = "practitioner";

    } ElseIf (sTextBox > = 5 & sTextBox)<= 6)="">

    Event.Value = "master";

    } else {}

  • Sum of calculated values

    Hello

    I have a xml like this:

    < LIST_G_CONTAINER >
    < G_CONTAINER >
    < WEIGHT > 11.58 < / WEIGHT >
    < / G_CONTAINER >
    < G_CONTAINER >
    < WEIGHT > 11.67 < / WEIGHT >
    < / G_CONTAINER >
    < G_CONTAINER >
    < WEIGHT > 11,63 < / WEIGHT >
    < / G_CONTAINER >
    < G_CONTAINER >
    < WEIGHT > 11,63 < / WEIGHT >
    < / G_CONTAINER >
    < G_CONTAINER >
    < WEIGHT > 11.7 < / WEIGHT >
    < / G_CONTAINER >
    < / LIST_G_CONTAINER >

    And I want to get the following values formatted with two decimal places (xxx.xx)
    (1) amount of WEIGHT multiplied by 0.8
    (2) the sum of the amount WEIGHT multiplied by 0.8

    I could get the expected value for 1) using the <? format-number: (WEIGHT) * 0.8; ' 9G990D00'? >
    "But I had no luck on getting the value for 2).
    For xml above, it should return 46.56 <--(11,58 * 0,8) + (11,67 * 0.8) + (11,63 * 0.8) + (11,63 * 0.8) + (11.7 * 0.8)

    Appreciate any input/help on how to fill the value for 2). Thank you!

    You can use editable variables here.

    Initialize a variable

    When you use the foreach loop

    and you can display it using

    Hereby, you can make sure you multiply, around and then summarize.
