Sort manually in LR 2.7 does not

I am trying to sort alrge number of images in more than one folder and I have more than one os image elements that I need to sort manually first so that I can add tags etc. Sometimes I can do this by dragging the image then next time that LR doesn't let me drag an image. I don't see what I do to stop this. A folder may be OK, but in another, the order seems locked. Can someone advise?

Thank you

Sort of the user can be in the lowest level folder or collection. If there is a subfolder, you will not be able to sort.

... unless you have "Show pictures in subfolders" unchecked. If in the folder, all images shown should exist in the same unique folder.

I only have this tablet since Christmas, and it wasn't the case when I had first, suggesting that maybe it's the result of an application being installed, or an update? ..... You can try a factory reset, but you will lose all your personal data, you will need to make a backup first.

    data/backup of the settings reset & reset/factory

normally, even after a stop, it will reconnect automatically when you re - enable WiFi.

do a factory reset, you will remove all the app downloaded, so you can check if it is an update of the system or application that caused the problem.

You must be in a folder of a single folder view.  If you are in a folder that contains subfolders with 'include subfolders images' selected, it will not work.

  • Photos Version 1.5 does not sort by date AND time

I use a Macbook Air early 2015 running OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 & version 1.5 of the Photos. I took ~ 200 pictures at an event using a camera of 2 nights ago. I put the SD card in my camera in my Mac tonight and uploaded all the photos at a time. They are not in chronological order - arrrgghh!

All photos were taken from Headquarters even of the same place the same evening. No adjustments were made at the time of the camera during the event. I checked the time / date stamp on the pictures - they are accurate, then I haven't adjusted their. The photos are simply in the random time sequence.

I've read the support forums & tried to solve the problem by creating a record of the event, and then selecting all the photos, and then 'view' > 'fate' > 'keep sorted oldest first' and the order does not change.

Can someone help me get these pictures in the order in which they were actually taken?

    Thank you!

Photos sorts the images differently depending on which mode you are in.

Special album 'All the Photos' is sorted by the date that the images have been added to your library.

'Photos' special album is sorted based on the timestamp of image creation and organized automatically based on the date and place on Moments, the Collections and the years.

  • Has my Optiarc DVD RW AD-7200 ATA device (slot 0) does not work.

It shows a code 39 (Windows cannot load device... driver driver may be corrupted or missing).  Can I just download a new driver from device and install or I buy?  If so, is there a legitimate site for this sort of thing?  Sorry for the newbie question.

    Hello

Code 39 means that the driver is corrupted or missing.

Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

Also check with your system manufacturer to see if there are any updated drivers for your DVD. Or even if it
are you can reinstall the 'old'. Many use Windows default drivers however some special aura

The Chicony webcam must be listed in the device under the devices of Imagine option Manager. You should see entry USB video device.
    Who do you see?
If so, this delete in Device Manager and reboot the device.

Usually the Windows 7 should automatically recognize the cam and refresh the driver.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the system manufacturer and the manufacturer of the device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD read). Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

These are the keys in my opinion, are those in question - secondary-keys for the CD/DVD drive of course because there will be other subkeys in these keys. Be sure to ask specific keys involved as well as the parameters.

You can probably find more info here and maybe even the exact registry for your CD/DVD settings
drive from someone with the same model.

Use DevManView to locate the CD/DVD in the registry (be careful and do a prior Restore Point)
nothing change) - find the DevManView device and then make a right click on it free in RegEdit.

DevManView - free - an alternative to the standard Windows Device Manager, which displays all devices and their properties in flat table, instead of the tree viewer

    I hope this helps.
