• Oracle Express 11.2 sorting question

  I am currently trying to learn the basics of Oracle Express, so I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question. I will now follow the tutorial and discovered that I can "t sort in descending order when you use the query designer. It won't let me select any other option but CSA under the sort type. I tried to use different browsers to see if that was the problem, but it's not. I know that I can just go and edit the SQL code to have it to do this, but it drives me crazy. Any ideas as to why the Query Builder doesn't let me choose a different sorting option?

  Have you tried with the tab key to move to the sort field and using the arrow keys to change the sort order.
  Just a work around until find you a solution ;)

  I'm sure it's something easy, and I'm right on it.

  I use to be able to sort the albums, but "recent" or something to that affect where he would show about 20 or so of the most recent added to my collection, before going and alphabetical order the rest. Now with the new update, which seems to have disappeared. I hope that it is just a setting somewhere and not completely disappeared.

  I have a problem that I can't find a way to fix. I use a datagrid that I pouplate by a XMListCollection based on XML data.

  I think it might be related to the fact that the data to be sorted is made only 0 and 1. But I can't imagine that this kind of situation is not repairable.

  Hello.

  Ive bought a p500 and suddenly the webcam no longer works. Ive tried literally everything, resettlement, System Restore, install win7 instead.

  No matter what the operating system does not detect the camera, when you install the drivers I get an error saying no appropriate driver.

• HP Officejet Pro 8610: HP Officejet Pro 8610 does not recognize ink cartridges

  My printer has ceased to recognize its ink cartridges. In a first stage, the problem happened occasionally and could be fixed by installing and reinstalling the cartridges or just wait a few days, but now it is continuous.

  When I turn on the printer, it immediately gives me an error (without code), saying that it cannot find the cartridges. All four are marked on the screen as not found. I followed the instructions of troubleshooting here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04090902

  The cartridges are genuine, they are the ones that came with the printer. I removed the, checked the contacts of the four. They look damaged or dirty, but used a cloth to clean all anyway. Put back them, did not help. Checked the latch, it was in the correct position. I even tried the restart without result.

  I tried to replace the cartridge with a new one (again, product HP genuine), but does not replace the printer either. And because all cartridges have failed at the same time, I can hardly belive the problem lies in them.

  I come from Finland, and I've not found a phone number, I could ask for help. Does one exist even for my country?

  I've been a customer of dell for 7 years and I bought a dell inspiron 14z 5423 just for more than a year.

  The portable initial had several questions and took a lot of my time before Dell sent a replacement.
  As I received the replacement, a tech has had to visit, I spent countless hours on the phone and the replacement still had questions.
  Just before that my missed warranty Dell held a service to collect and return and the laptop came back worse, Yes, worse! only when I had sent off the coast!
  After several emails and many hours of MY time, I agreed reluctantly to have the laptop sent off for repairs again.
  I received a few days ago return and again he has problems.
  I have had problems with this laptop on the first day and spent weeks and months sorting question after question.

  I asked for a refund. Ad don't insult to injury Dell none refuses to respond to my emails! The appalling customer service.

  While Dell is unable to reimburse me for my time, I asked Dell to reimburse me the full amount I paid for a defective product several times.

  I have a record of all correspondence colleagues and have there – of Dell.

  I had to come here to look for some sort of equity from Dell which do not take account of me, a customer over seven years.  I expect an answer from Dell.

• Insufficient system resources when running multiple images

  I don't know if I'm posting in the correct forum, but I have a problem here.

  I am under some applications of intensive testing in mulitple vm images, with these images hosted on a server.

  When I run 2 images, applications work fine.

  But when I run 4 images simultaneously, the applications start to fail with errors such as "insufficient system resources" or "invalid".

  I surf autour and found "invalid" could also be due to a limitation of County of handle, which I think is sorta question "insufficient system resources".

  Performance for 4 images are not ideal.

  I wish that all the images to the performace to about 75% CPU.

  But I couldn't just 2 to run at 75%, the other 2 to 25% of the CPU.

  I wonder if changing to ESXi could help solve this problem.

  Anyone who could comment?

  Do not specify more than one processor in your virtual machines unless you really, really need. Multiple virtual machines that you have, the more it will be difficult for VMware plan all processors which need time CPU. Also make sure that your disk by looking at the settings of the host, is not the bottleneck as it's usually my cause of bad results.

• Two simple surveys in Web Page

  I want to create two simple surveys in a web page where the users do not see the results and they can vote only once.  Here is an example:

  Would you like a 100 k?    Yes No

  Would you like a 100 mile?    Yes No

  I installed a few poll scripts, but they do not work for what I need.  All I need is a tally sheet.  Couldn't, I just a tag of form that sends me an email with a 'yes' or 'no '.  I can then their total upward.  There is no reason that this should be difficult.  It is more difficult to get them to vote only once.  I don't know how to configure monitoring for this IP.

  Does anyone have ideas how I can do this in a simple way?

  I have a silly question: is it possible to sort photos by date within Albums? I know that if I choose 'photos' mode they are arranged by date, but when I chose pictures to create a new album, they are not sorted by date.

  What version of Photos do you use?

  In Photos 1.3, you can sort photos by date in an album.

  Select the album in the sidebar, ctrl-click, click "Sort" and select "keep sorted by...» ».

  This may seem like a stupid question, but how do I cancel the sorting of attributes to a display object or an entity objects?

  After following file .jdeveloper for the changed files and playing with the sorting, I found that the files that change when you sort the attributes or change the column width in the IDE.

  .. /system12.1.3.0.41.140521.1008/o.BC4J/jboVoAttrColumn.properties

  and

  .. /system12.1.3.0.41.140521.1008/o.BC4J/jboVoAttrColumn.properties

  You can change the value first after the sign '=' to 'NAME' to .

  Alternatively, you can delete the two files and do with it!

  I guess this subtotal profitability of the column is the sum of the individual values for this segment...

  create another column in the criteria tab:
  change it's fx to: sum (profitability by year, area)
  then continue first sort asc/desc on this column order
  hide this column
  apply 2nd sort asc/desc order on column to return normal...

  I have just one more quick question:
  
  Now I can sort by total partial, but how to hide this new column of my table view? By clicking on the Red 'x' button removes it totally as a filter... The checkbox "Hide" in the properties of the column simply grayscale output column and it shows without any number.

  go to the properties of the columns (first option) > tab Format column
  you will find the checkbox hide... Select and save.

  Gray values in the column, which is correct and even what we want...

  But, you should look in the layout composed, not change the properties of the table...
  in the layout of the compound, appears as it is hidden

  or

  do everything in pivot then exclude that particular column

  My wife is to create a database using a set of 9 numbers and wants to sort them using the "final four" of the series.

  Is there a a way to sort the four latest os using a series of numbers?

  I suggest adding an additional column to extract the last four digits like this:

  

  the 9-digit number is in column A and the last four digits in column B.

  Select cell B1 and type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

  = RIGHT(A1, 4)

  shortcut for this is:

  B1 =RIGHT (A1, 4)

  Select cell B1, copy

  Select column B, paste

  now, you can sort on column B

• Interactive report Question (sort of)

  This has probably been concave, but I have not found how to ask the question to find the answer, so I apologize in advance.

  Running APEX 4.2.3 I need do the following:

  I need to be able to send an email to all registrants in a filtered interactive report, with one of the interactive report fields e-mail address.  So I imagine something like this:

  1 run an interactive report and it returns 1000 rows.

  2. I filter the report so that the subset resulting contains 30 rows.

  3. I click on a button that says Compose Message

  4. a box perhaps (a modal window?) to allow the body of the message type.

  5. click a button to send a Message

  6 to run a PL/SQL procedure cycles to each line of the EIS filtered to get the email address.  (This IS THE PART that I KNOW not HOW to DO it)

  7. use the same PL/SQL procedure from step 6 to send the e-mail message.

  I understand how do anything but striking since the interactive report filtered e-mail addresses.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Now look at the process... You need build the e-mail process, but the query NOW respect filtering done on the report.  I added a function to your workspace that you want to download where you want to develop this...

  This function determines the ACTIVE query for the report, binds with the values bind variables and returns the query, where I add a selection to the e-mail address to select it and build an array of values to loop through...
