  Problem (abridged version)

  Most of the time - but not every time - when I stream video + audio iMac to aTV and choose to listen to the audio portion of the aTV to a separate AExpress (which is connected to a better BOSE audio system), the movie will not play. Streaming both audio and video - and only - the aTV works perfectly, but then I have bad sound, since I use the TV's internal speakers. What is reasons for it? Tips to fix it?

  Every time when I stream video and audio from large multimedia files (about 3-4 GB .mkv) of the iMac (Beamer) on the ATV to the room, I didn't encounter any problem. Buffering is fast (2-4) and there is no delay or other negative experience. Unfortunately, as with all flat TVs, the sound of the TV is poor. Since I have a BOSE sound system, placed around this TV, I like to use it for audio. As I do this is - after the streaming media file (Beamer) iMac to the bedroom aTV - pressing the Center "Select" button during 1 sec on the remote to display the "audio" preferences and select money "Chamber" (AExpress related to the BOSE sound system). In this way, I think that audio + video is streamed to the iMac on the ATV in the bedroom, and the sound is then broadcast the ATV to the AExpress. This is where the problem occurs. Sometimes it works very well, as today in the morning. No lag and everything works fine. But most of the time, after changing the preference "audio" in the sound stream for the BOSE, the beginning of the play symbol buffering becomes the symbol of the break and nothing happens. I hit play again and the symbol of the game / buffering symbol lights up for a few seconds, and then again to pause. She never starts.

  The problem usually occurs with heavy multimedia files / large size 1080 p and 3-4 GB, not with the simplest 720 p files weighing about 1 to 2 GB. This makes me think it's a matter of WiFi capability. But if my WiFi network should not be able to manage that? I think that the apple TV in the bedroom and the AExpress uses the N standard, so it is the limiting factor. But if this interface should not be able to handle the traffic?   I also want to mention that everything works perfectly at certain times, like this morning. Last night (12 h) it wouldn't work at all... Perhaps there are more traffic yesterday (Saturday) evening.

  4. I have a new (flat unit with power cord separate) Airport Express. This device manage more traffic and thus possibly resolve my problem?

  I think I can explain the reason for the problem... but I have little experience with sound problems... so you will need to figure out a work around.

  The nature of wireless networks, it's to manage the stream very well... but they are much less good at the sensitive time of things like multimedia transmission continuously. In fact, if you want to stream multimedia content over wireless, it is preferable to use specialized units... no wifi. I have a 3D projector and home theater system that uses a special wireless link from Epson to the projector... It is amazing that it can handle the required data of 3D projection. It does so by using 60GHz or some these extremely high FREQ... and totally dedicated units... no wifi. In the end, we ran an HDMI cable in the wall... it was largest wireless but not could be started reliably. Wireless is simply not ready for the big time of streaming video high definition even when dedicated.

  Wireless network adapter... It is wifi, can handle only one connection at a time and it time slices between clients. It's also half-duplex, so it can only send or receive... it can't do both at the same time.

  On the other hand, modern interrrupteurs ethernet can stream to multiple devices at the same time. It can also handle send them and receive at the same time... That is to say in full duplex. This is why the networks ethernet much more suitable for media streaming wireless never can be.

  As soon as you try to use double flow... even if it is audio (low bandwidth) and a video (broadband), you will cause huge delays to the video component. The video stream has literally if stop to give the time to the audio to catch up... you can immediately see where this will lead. Low resolution, it might work... but at high resolution, there is bandwidth inadequate considering the Division of time.

  It would be much better to use the audio on the TV. Or check if the TV itself has audio output... that plug into the standard analog audio system RCA or it could even have out optical. Who will then provide a means by which the flow must not be split. My samsung smart TV offers you both.

• Sound effects for Windows does not not after installing Skype

  Windows Messenger has informed me that it will soon no longer running, and that I had to switch to Skype.  I previously did not have Skype on my computer, so I followed the instructions for the installation of messenger-hotmail-Skype.  I had no problems with the Setup, and Skype works fine.  But now my computer sounds (as windows starts, shut down, etc.) do not work.  I went to the control panel and tried to switch to a different style to reset, tried test the individual sounds, but none of them work.  The option to test the sound of each effect works, I can click on the button, but no sound.

• Realtek sound effects on y580 tab

  I was wondering why there is no sound effects for SD realtek audio Manager tab. I know it's part of the software. I had one with my old toshiba laptop. Lenovo did disable this because the key/dolby theater?

  I think it has something to do with the version 2.70. I just downloaded and installed the version 2.41 of guru3d and shows the sound effects tab. Could try to reinstall dolby and compare. Thanks for your help

  An export that I did does not include some of the sound effects for the film, I added.  Some are, some aren't I slowed down some of them and tried to export only the audio but same problem is still there.

  Any help as to what is happening and how to fix would be appreciated.

  After the upgrade to Sierra, various applications now have sound effects. I unchecked sound effects as part of its interface. But the mail still makes a swoosh sound when sending anything. I don't know yet what other applications continue to use sound effects.

  I understand that you have checked your preferences of mail for the sound settings but still don't get no shipment or receive sounds.

  Have you also checked the Notification of Mail preferences?

  My advice would be different in the fact that I would tell you to get the latest version of the drivers for your hardware from the hardware provider for the audio device, or at least to the manufacturer of the system.

• Problem Realtek Sound Effect Manager

  Apparently, the icon for Realtek Sound Effect Manager exists only in the Panel, however, I can't access it. Before, I could access, add some echo and others, but these days, the icon does nothing.   I suggest you reinstall the drivers/Realtek software supplied with the PC (probably on a separate CD-rom). If you can't find these, they should be also available for download from the Web to Realtek site.

  Hello RPrasad, welcome to the Forums of HP.

  I see that you have a problem with the sound in your headphones with your laptop. I will try to help you with this.

  Have you tried another headset to see if the problem occurs from there also? It is preferable to exclude the logical hardware first.

  If the problem does not form several headphones so I suggest to start with this document: audio speakers (Windows 8) No. (the steps can be applied to any sound problem)

  If this fails to solve the problem, as your not sure of any changes made to the laptop. Your next option would be to do a system refresh. This document can help you on how to do it: Refresh Your PC to solve problems (Windows 8).
