Sound recording w/FMS and AIR

I'm trying to record audio (using a microphone) to FMS 2. My code works fine when targeted for a browser. However, when targeted for beta AIR 3 - the microphone never dectects all activity. Camera works well in both, but not micro. Is this a bug? or I have to do something special for microphone and AIR?

The AIR team informed me that this is a problem in Beta 3 and it should be fixed in 1.0

  • Sound recording play hum and then no audio

Recently, my computer had a problem where it sometimes, for no reason that I can understand, will emit a noise for a second or two and then all the sound elements will be gone. In Device Manager, it will say that the sound card works fine. It is not a question of volume: if I turn up to 100 in the mixer, there's still nothing. If I run the troubleshooter, it will say that there is no problem. If I try if the sound recorder, it is said that a device is not found. Also, if I try to play music in Foobar, he responds with "error unrecoverable read: unknown error code (0 x 88890010). I can restart the computer and everything will be fine, but it happened with a frequency of more recent times. It is very annoying because it is quite unpredictable when it will happen.

  • XP sounds low and scratchy sound recorder

using a dell with XP OS computer I have reciently erased my disk hard back to the "factory condition" using Norton Ghost disk, however, I am not able to record and playback using Microsoft Sound Recorder, as I was before.

I'm sure there is a simple solution (e.g. drivers) and I can remember what it was.

Initially, I had this problem and sought another recorder of sounds, which I ran for a day or two, and because he was in conflict with another sound program (Nero), I uninstalled it immediately.

It is after uninstalling I noticed that Windows Sound Recorder worked then and everything was fine.

I have the sound that I hear all my MP3 music without fault when playing on Windows Media Player using Creative Sound Blaster PCI, I deleted obviously something that was there before reformatting my hard drive. WITHOUT having to search for an another sound recorder - can you tell me what is the solution? Thank you

A more technical and detailed explanation of the problem is below.

The sound "waves" were still visible on the sound recorder, check it was scientifically to come in which could be lowered or raised with the Volume control - now there's nothing.

Now there is a slight frying sound when music is recorded and played back, as if it were a radio cities not expensive 3 away. but once again my MP3 music plays without problem.

I select file > properties > convert now, and by choosing 'Name' 'CD quality' on the recorder sounds and still no luck, infact the only way to hear the sound of frying by far is to keep the name of "Untitled" by default using the format "PCM".

Thank you for your time with this question.

Yes, it would be a good idea to re - install your specific sound devices for the XP drivers.

Use Audacity to record with, it of better and should not come into conflict with anything whatsoever. It's also free. Sound recorder is (IIRC) limited to 60 seconds of recording. Audacity is not more you can convert and edit your audio files on it.

    See you soon,.

  • not enough memory in sound recorder

I recorded several lectures using the sound recorder.  The first two records were successful.  However, when trying to save the third, sound recorder is stagnating and the response on the screen was this sound recorder did not have enough memory.  Is there a way to increase the memory or delete some of the previous records to release the memory for future recordings?

Sound Recorder cannot use rest memory after you start the system.  Only way to increase this is to add to the computer.

Are you sure it says memory and no disk space?  If it's the memory, you can restart (to free memory) but not much.  Space of HD IF you can delete files to free up more.

You can run the HD Cleanup Wizard to remove unnecessary temporary files.

    Hi superconfused123,

This problem occurs because of a design limitation in the tape recorder.

I want to use sound recorder to save as wav audio is not wma... How do I save it as a wav or mp3 file in order to make a cd and read it in my car?

    Hello

1 are you referring to the sound recorder program in Windows?

    2. you have all the music you want to convert to WAV?

3 are you referring to the "Sound Converter" when you say 'tape recorder '?

If so, you can use third party software to convert WMA to WAV audio format.

  • The Sound Recorder with W7 now seems much more rudimentary than the old version, and I can't find any way to insert messages into My Documents.

    My O.S. is W.7. 32-bit.

    Before, I recently upgraded to XP and using MS Word 2007, I have a (short) Sound Clip of pre-registration<60 secs. )="" and="" then="" insert="" it="" into="" my="">

A small icon that looks like a speaker appeared on the Document and that the beneficiary would have left click on it to hear the recording. The Sound Recorder with W7 now seems much more rudimentary than the old version, and I can't find any way to insert messages into My Documents.

Is this even possible or has Microsoft taken a step backward here?

I'd appreciate some help here. Thanks in advance. Mech-Tech.

    Original title: Sound Recorder

If I've understood your problem, try this. Create a shortcut to "soundrecorder /file outputfilename.wav" (without the quotes).

Then start soundrecorder via this shortcut and start and stop the recording, it will save so (hopefully) as a wav as before.

I think the problem is, W7 soundrecorder, by default, saves to wma.

If not, try a 3rd free part program such as Audacity (which seems like overkill, but should do the job).

    I hope this will help.

  • How to get rid of Free Sound Recorder toolbar and search engine

OpenOfficeOrg, Schirmfoto and YouTube Music Downloader are excellent freeware programs.  They do what I want.   But beware of the freeware in all.  My problem is with Free Sound Recorder.  It's something I wanted, and it's freeware, so I downloaded it.  I took care to uncheck both boxes before installation that would have included the Free Sound Recorder toolbar and search engine, but these unwanted extras have been installed in any case and appear at the top of every browser I use.  I used Revo Uninstaller Pro to uninstall the bar tools and search engine, but not good.  So I uninstalled Free Sound Recorder completely, but I still stunk toolbar and search engine.  Worse yet, the additional toolbar fattens the top of my browser and did some research in Facebook a lot harder.  I contacted the seller four or five times to help him remove their parasites, but I receive no answer.  I did not restore the system, and after three weeks, or so the clock is ticking as the system restore only so far back in time.  Thank you.

    Palcouk:

Thank you.  Too bad FreeSoundRecorder didn't provide me with the link that you have done, but after having informed the I had filed a complaint against them to their State Attorney general's Office, I received a quick apology and instructions for disabling or removing their toolbar.  A toolbar add-on takes place at the top of your browser and, for me, doing research on Facebook very difficult.

I like some of the freeware, I mostly OpenOfficeOrg, but with a few exceptions, my experience with the freeware has been disappointing.  I'd caution anyone to remember the old adage: 'if it sounds too good to be true, it's probably

  • How to turn off the sound recording on a Camileo H20?

I just got a new VCR Camileo H20. Directly from the box.

I use it for video road races to complement the photographs that I take with my Nikon digital camera.

I am really satisfied with the short video clips that I record, whether they are clear and sharp (fingers crossed). They are very well received by the riders.

    * http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bNCKCKafCw *.

The only problem I have is that I would like to turn the microphone off. Supporters cry comments that are usually fairly light, but recently one or two went over the top with comments derogatory offence.

I know I can turn off the sound in the video editing software that I use, but as I said, I would like to turn the microphone off.

I do not understand why, when I put the * sound * to * Off * in the Menu it still records the sound.

Any help on this would be really appreciated.

    Thank you.

    > I do not understand why, when I put the sound on Off the menu it still sound recordings.

I m H20 not owner but I have a Camielo: 30. But the two are very similar, the sound-> off the coast of the option that you can find in the menu does not sound recording via microphone, but the sound that appears by pressing the buttons by navigating through the menu.

If you can not turn off the sound while you record a video.

  • Video messages do not sound record

I just bought a new webcam, Logitech C615, because my 720 p went up toes, the web cam works for normal calls, but when I try to record a video message on the message, there is no sound. Test of her appeal works great and works of cam on all other applications I tried on. If I go to tools the cam microphone is selected and it presents an entry. before he died the 720 p would be record video messages with sound, so I do not see where I am going wrong with the C615, all this out until you try to replay the recorded video message and then there is no sound track.

I didn't know although I did have a USB3.0 port but that I'm hip was red so I plugged in a blue and have just managed to record a video message with the sound. Looks like you have click on the button for me thank you.

Now I go and check the web site of cat and see if it works, I suspect it might.
