Sound worked for 3 years.  Most recent fact put to date... Now cut

Someone posted a similar question.  However, so far, my problem is with youtube.  The computer worked perfectly after a few updates/updates (hardware) over the past 3 years.

I just did the update flash there are 15 to 20 min.  I saw about 30 youtube videos.  The sound stops randomly, usually within 30 to 60 seconds.  The sound remains inactive until I have move forward in the video.  It stays on for 20-30 seconds that remain turned off.  Adobe did affect my computer?

Thanks for the heads up.  If I had to guess, it's either a bug in video playback that we injected when adding support for HTTP Live Streaming or Windows 8, or we rely on video or audio hardware acceleration in a situation where it has not been previously used on your machine.

I'm also not clear on the question of whether to use the standard version of Flash Player, or the beta (this is the forum for beta channel).  I've included a few troubleshooting steps below, I'm mostly just interested in detailed information about versions and the release of the DXDiag utility.  It would also be useful to know if you see the problem on Youtube with videos of YouTube both Flash and HTML5.

In addition, not all Youtube videos are equal.  Providing links to one or more videos that illustrate the problem would be very useful.  In addition, if you right click and choose copy Debug info and paste in, helping me refine some tricks.

Finally, sometimes video and audio problems are caused at a lower level and not directly related to Flash Player.  I recommend that you try the links below to see how they play.  If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit because the HTML5 video link doesn't use Flash Player during playback.  You can check this by clicking on the HTML5 video and look for the words "On HTML5" at the bottom of the menu.

    Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at the esc you key start Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Select the BIOS ( f10 ) and under the Advanced or the Diagnostic tab, you will find the possibility to run tests on the hard drive and memory.

    Post back with the details of any error message.

    Note:  If the option to run these tests is not available in the Bios Menu, use the menu diagnosis f2 .

I have recently installed on my computer and it's always the same, as I had before. (Just the symbol of firefox) How can I get the latest version?     Please answer the questions below which will provide more information on the issue, that you face.

    1. Have you tried to play sounds on different applications?
    2. Have you tried to connect an external speaker or headphones to check if sound works through these devices?

    In the meantime, I ask that you uninstall the device from the sound card in Device Manager, uninstall the sound drivers in the programs list and then download and install the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website. This occurs generally if the card sound/device drivers are corrupt, it is the reason why, we will have to completely uninstall and then reinstall them.

    To do this, follow the steps below.

    Step 1: Uninstall the device from Device Manager sound card.

    • Start the laptop on the desk.
    • Press Windows key + R to bring up the run window.
    • In the run window, type devmgmt.msc to bring up the Device Manager
    • In Device Manager, expand the sound card device and right-click on it with the mouse.
    • Click Uninstall on the shortcut menu.

    Step 2: uninstall device drivers from the list of programs

    After you have uninstalled the device sound card in Device Manager, I would ask to uninstall you the drivers for the device in the list of programs. For this try so the troubleshooting steps provided below.

    • In the run window, type appwiz.cpl to make a list of the programs installed in the computer.
    • In the list of installed, select the program/software related to the sound card, and then uninstall.

    My operating system is Vista Home Premium 32-bit with Service Pack 2.

    I use my laptop more than 20 hours a day. I have connected my laptop to the power adapter that connected to the ups (uninterruptible power supply) and from there it connects to the wall jack. Given that I have turn my laptop so long, so I removed my battery and put aside. Because I thaught if I have my battery is connected with my laptop, then life battery will decrease since I use my laptop for more than 20 hours a day. That's why I took off. I'm using this method for a few years.

    I use my PC laptop battery only when I travel I make much less.

    So I was wandering if it is good practice to remove the battery and run the laptop for power adapter?

    My battery will be coming for many years or it will get cuttings due to not use it for a long time?

    What is your opinion, to run the laptop with the battery or not - computer since I use my laptop more than 20 hours a day?

    It is certainly very well run Notepad on just the AC adapter.

    Regarding the battery once a month, reinsert the battery, turn the machine on and let the battery fully charged.  Unplug the AC adapter and let the unit run until you start getting a "low battery" warning  Completely load it again, then let the battery drain to about 40%.  Shut down the laptop, remove the battery and store it separately in a cool place.  Repeat this procedure each month will help you keep your battery in good condition.

  • Forest of HFM worked for a year, not another

    We are the FDM and HFM 11.1.2.1 and I was doing some reasearch in the system today and for some reason any in all the periods that were loaded in 2011 in this version (August-December), I am able to break through to the FDM source data. However, if I go to 2012 and try a drill for Jan or Feb it doesn't work and I get the error message below. I guess it must be a setting I'm missing somewhere, but can't understand why the year would make a difference here.

    Error: No site not found at the intersection had corresponding values. Please check:
    (1) that the (originally from the drillback) target system is properly configured;
    (2) that the FDM POVs were not retroactively modified or compromised.

  • Search for a specific, most recently modified file

    I have a folder with several subfolders and within each subfolder, it is a file called MyFile.txt:

    C:\myFolder\Folder_1\myFile.txt

    C:\myFolder\Folder_2\myFile.txt

    C:\myFolder\Folder_3\myFile.txt

    I want to search all subfolders under C:\myFolder\ and look for the myfile.txt that has changed recently.

  • MSOutlook2003 stops sending emails after working for many years!

    Yesterday, Outlook2003 suddenly stopped connecting to the SMTP server on one of my hosted domain accounts (organised by inmotionhosting)

    My connection to the ISP (lequipetv.fr) continues to work perfectly.

    2. What is steam? What is an application or a program?
    3. How you did update the audio drivers?
    4. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    Let's try the methods below and check.

    Method 1: You can run the troubleshooter from the below mentioned link and check if it can help solve the problem , Open the Audio playback troubleshooting utility

    Method 2: I understand that you tried to update the drivers. However, I try to uninstall and reinstall sound card driver.

    a. Click Start, type Device Manager in the start search box and press ENTER.
    (b) in the Device Manager dialog box, expand of sound, video and game controllers.
    c. find the audio device that was included with the computer.
    d. right click on the device, and then click Properties.
    e. click driver, and then clickUninstall.
    f. make sure the boxremove the driver for this deviceis cleared, and then clickOK.
    g. in the Device Manager dialog box, click the Actionmenu, and then clickfind the hardware changes.

    You receive a message that States that a hardware device is being installed, and then the not installed audio device appears in Device Manager.

    h. close the Device Manager dialog box.

    Method 3: Check if the problem persists in the clean boot state

    Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

The description of filter for files 'odt' comes back as: "IFilter shop OpenOffice IFilter" where as 'doc' filter is listed as a: «Filter Microsoft Office» Is it a "Boutique OpenOffice IFilter IFilter: issue" Blocking "the documents appear in the search results? If so, how should I do (I mean in addition to all the documents 'odt' replacing 'doc'?

    Just to clarify: document names 'odt' come to a search, but not the content document.

    I don't know anything firsthand about the new iTunes (I still use iTunes 7.5), but this kind of problem may also depend on you use character set.  I know that I can change that in my version of iTunes in the Advanced menu and you might try to experiment a different game.

    If you have 3 machines with the same problem and you don't change anything, really pointing to the server.  See if you can telnet to him (see http://techhelp.santovec.us/pop3telnet.htm).  Who uses the same username and password as WinMail, so if this does not work, there is something that goes wrong at the server level.  Additionally, if you can, try to connect via webmail and see if it works.
