  I was wondering what is going on for files that have been stored in File.applicationStorageDirectory after an update the app (= new version)?

  I assumed / hoped that the files were still there... However, after the update my application to a new version, it apparently does NOT access the same files (it seems to me that the file was missing, so a new was created).

  (background: all my application user data is stored in an XML file in the directory above (so to speak my database) - it is therefore crucial that a new version will access the same files (for example, after an update of an Android application))

  I don't think that Mozilla will send e-mail to its users and ask them to update to Firefox. I have never received such and I have been using Firefox from the day that it was released. Users will have to use its built-in or from its Web site update. This email is probably a scam. You must remove it immediately.

  There are two different values, the build number and version number. If you use a test flight, you can submit an update without obtaining a review by increasing the build number. If you are submitting an update to an application in iTunesConnect, you must increment the version number.

  You should be able to open InDesign CC 2014 files in version 9.3.

  Two simple conditions must be met to do this:

  (a) you must be connected to the application using your Adobe ID

  (b) you must be connected to the internet.

  Provided that the two conditions above are met, when you try to open a document in version higher in a lower version (from CS6), you should be able to see a dialog box asking if you want the document to be converted to a compatible version.

  Here is the solution for iOS.

  To view your files and local files

  1. Go to the House.
     
  2. Press the text label Blue at the center of the top bar.
     
  3. Select 'Local' (for files that are stored locally on your iPad/iPhone).

  You can also select 'Cloud of Document' (for files stored on the Document, formerly called Acrobat.com cloud) and others.
