  When you try to add a page break between the linked pages, I have an annoying problem where the space is added at the top of the new page (see attached screenshot).

  I do not have 'space before' or 'space after' set on the paragraph style where the page break is applied, if it's not that.

  Looks like you used an empty paragraph as a spacer. With the help of the space before or after the space instead of empty paragraphs will prevent the empty space at the top of a column.

  First of all, for this code to work, you must use standard double quotes, not the ones you currently have it.

  For use on a bookmark, you can do something like this:

  var bkm = this.bookmarkRoot.children[0];
  bkm.name = trim(bkm.name);

  CS5... My database (excel file converted into a tabulated TXT file) has some entries where there must be a space before or after the word.  And the example is "$1000,00 _" with the reprsenting _ where the space will be.  Of course when it is brought in ID as a data merge, these areas seem to be deleted.  Is there a way so that it can keep these spaces?

  When you select or update your data source, click "View options" in the dialog box. Then check the box to preserve the spaces in the data source.

  I have a table and fill it with an XML file.

  The cells in the header row are text fields (not text objects). The data of the table header also comes from the XML file.

  After a page break, I get a line of header at the top of each page, which is good. However, the fields are empty. The fields are filled only in the line to the first page header.

  Is it possible to have all the row header filled fields?

  (I even tried to have text objects in the header line and fill in an event formReady. "But once again on the next page they are filled with the initial value of the text object - and not the value of an XML file.)

  Make each of these fields of Global header... in other words the overall value their relationship.

  What I'm trying to do is to edit a paragraph style that follows a page break symbol.  I have a script (below) that will change a paragraph style following a paragraph already predetermined style, so I guess it's done the same?

  Here's the scenario:

  I have a paragraph with spaces (can be 1 or more) at the beginning (before the first word) and a single space after the first word (is be a number if this matter - which may be a single digit or more).

  I'm looking to replace the spaces before each paragraph with a single tab and replace one tab so of space after the first word (number). In addition, I would like to apply a paragraph style to it.

  I currently have problems with alignment using templates in BI Publisher.
  I am trying to create a model that will print on a pre-printed form.
  Each group in the State should be separated by page, so the Group has a <? split-of-page-break:? > before <? end-for-each? >.
  However, when the next page begins, there is a blank line inserted. This messes up the alignment in total.
  
  Code looks like this:
  <? for-each-group: G_Document; / DOCUMENT? > <? sorting: current-group () / DOCUMENT; ' ascending '; data-type = "text"? > <? for - each:current-group()? >
  -INSERT table MODEL HERE-
  <? split-of-page-break:? > <? end-for-each? >

  I have a problem to create a rtf model that prints the data of the invoice with more than one address.
  
  The original data have more than one invoice to print all documents in a release.
  
  It's for printing repeat. I want to mark multiple invoices to print.
  The source data is divided into header (address, number of invoice, summaries) information, invoice items and information of the company (client).
  
  How to create the xml source?
  How to create word rtf model to repeat the billing address on each page also if the first Bill has more than one page.
  I tried the <? characteristic model, but it doesn't repeat the first address data.
  I tried the <? Start: body feature, but this creates all the addresses on the first page.
  I tried the <? function split-of-page-break, but it creates no extensible address header.

  A simple question - I think at least: I have not checked the forum for a few weeks, so I read the messages and return to the next page and read. And after reading I always go back to page 1, even if the message I read was on page 6.

  What is the problem with my clicking or Adobe click in this funny way?

  It is an also the forum software Adobe bought last spring.  Workaround: right click on the message you want to read and do open in a new tab.  That will keep your place at the table of contents (and you won't have to wait for the table of contents refresh after you close a message).

• Copy of Firefox always function adds an extra space before or after double clicking to select text

  I have just started using Firefox, but I noticed a strange "characteristic" (I don't know if this is a feature or a bug, so the quotes). I'm used to the opera, and that is where by when I double click on some text, the text will be automatically selected. Firefox does something like this, but for some reason any I don't yet understand that it adds extra space at the beginning or at the end of the selection. It is a problem for someone like me who, for work, did a lot of copy / paste. I use web software that doesn't tolerate extra spaces and this feature/bug will end up causing some problems.
  Is it possible to change this behavior so that it behaves more like all my other computer programs? Your help is greatly appreciated.

  Well, unfortunately, the solution did not work. I guess it's back to the opera, as seems to be the only browser that has the features I need. Too bad.

  I hope that you work with paragraph styles, you should do it, use 2 paragraph styles.

  Do for each line of its own paragraph in the paragraph style, set the style to another in the following style.

  To adjust the distance changes in paragraph styles in the space before and after.

  Never use between all double back to force space paragraphs, only work with space before and after.

If they are the result of the space-before or after the space attribute, then you can edit your paragraph Styles to remove the space.  If your document has unfortunately been implemented without the help of styles, you can select and remove the space in the paragraph Panel.

• I'd like to produce consistent spacing before and after the section headings in the table of contents

  I am trying to create a style for the entries of table of contents for the titles of the books section. I would have a little more vertical space between these securities and two other section titles or sub-section titles, like so:

  Section 1

  Paragraph 1 a

  Paragraph 1(b)

  Section 2

  Section 3

  and so on. To do this, I can easily add a space before and after the space for the section title style. The problem comes when there are two titles with no intermediaries paragraphs, such as 2 and 3 in the example above. Then, the space between these titles is double. If I set is a nonzero value space before or after the space, but not both, then the titles won't be correctly spaced in areas where it has paragraphs either below or above a section title. Does anyone know how to get a uniform spacing?
