  I currently have problems with alignment using templates in BI Publisher.
  I am trying to create a model that will print on a pre-printed form.
  Each group in the State should be separated by page, so the Group has a <? split-of-page-break:? > before <? end-for-each? >.
  However, when the next page begins, there is a blank line inserted. This messes up the alignment in total.
  
  Code looks like this:
  <? for-each-group: G_Document; / DOCUMENT? > <? sorting: current-group () / DOCUMENT; ' ascending '; data-type = "text"? > <? for - each:current-group()? >
  -INSERT table MODEL HERE-

  I found this old thread Split-of-Page-Break insert extra line that has exactly the same problem, however, I tried all the proposed solutions, even the last one, and I still have the problem.

  When you try to add a page break between the linked pages, I have an annoying problem where the space is added at the top of the new page (see attached screenshot).

  I do not have 'space before' or 'space after' set on the paragraph style where the page break is applied, if it's not that.

  Looks like you used an empty paragraph as a spacer. With the help of the space before or after the space instead of empty paragraphs will prevent the empty space at the top of a column.

• Paragraph style of change after a Page break

  I'm completely new script, so I take what I found others and try to change it.

  What I'm trying to do is to edit a paragraph style that follows a page break symbol.  I have a script (below) that will change a paragraph style following a paragraph already predetermined style, so I guess it's done the same?

  I have a problem to create a rtf model that prints the data of the invoice with more than one address.
  
  The original data have more than one invoice to print all documents in a release.
  
  It's for printing repeat. I want to mark multiple invoices to print.
  The source data is divided into header (address, number of invoice, summaries) information, invoice items and information of the company (client).
  
  How to create the xml source?
  How to create word rtf model to repeat the billing address on each page also if the first Bill has more than one page.
  I tried the <? characteristic model, but it doesn't repeat the first address data.
  I tried the <? Start: body feature, but this creates all the addresses on the first page.
  I tried the <? function split-of-page-break, but it creates no extensible address header.
  
  I am naïve.

  A simple question - I think at least: I have not checked the forum for a few weeks, so I read the messages and return to the next page and read. And after reading I always go back to page 1, even if the message I read was on page 6.

  What is the problem with my clicking or Adobe click in this funny way?

  It is an also the forum software Adobe bought last spring.  Workaround: right click on the message you want to read and do open in a new tab.  That will keep your place at the table of contents (and you won't have to wait for the table of contents refresh after you close a message).

  I need and can be a municipality. I built a rtf model for orders to the output to PDF. I have a header table and the secondary table in the model. If there is more detail the secondary table record get extended to the next page, but not the header. I've coded something like below:

  The post above describes how to repeat the header row, in each table that is split over several pages. But if you want that the table header itself to repeat the acoss pages, I suggest that you include the table header in the header section of the report so that it is on every page. You can also use a submodel containing the header and call the subtemplate where you want the table to appear... and not to do you know not XSL :-)

  I use a simple rtf file to create a report. The group header does not extend after a page break. Is there a simple way to repeat that the report goes to the next page? I also use subtemplate on page header. The problem is that template with parameter void does not appear with the parameter when we use <? for-each-group@section:G_1; EmpID? > command. The emplID group header is repeated, but the void model parameter is not passed. Any other solution for this.

• How to remove a line empty after an anchor of the table?

  We use FrameMaker 12 on Windows 7 (64-bit) platform.

  I'm working my way down to a chapter in the content of the training. I'm at halfway in the chapter, and - as fate would have - I need start a table at the top of a page.

  When I insert a table (with a caption/title at the top), FM creates an anchor at the top of the page. The space to the right of the anchor is a blank line.  In fact, I want the table to start at the top of the page without the white line to the right of the anchor.

  That's what I tried, with results:

  I put the cursor after the anchor and press DELETE.

  Result: The text * under * the table is set up above the table.

  I put the cursor after the last piece of text on the previous page and press DELETE.

  Result: The paragraph on the previous page Stoops to the next page on the top of the table, leaving a large empty space on the previous page.

  I change the start option (Table Designer) at the top of the column (or the top of the Page).

  Result: FM leaves the anchor where she was, move the table until the next page and leaves a completely blank page where the table used to be.

  Is it possible to just go up the table so that it is on the same line as the anchor?

  (And as a design tool problem, is there ALWAYS a reason why a content developer wants a complete line of vacuum over a table?)

  Assuming that your para anchor has a spacing of X:

  • In the Paragraph Designer set it for tea by anchor, base: space: below the FMP: -x
  • In the table designer for the table, set the base: space: above: -x

  A series of tables not run-together, sure. But the hack of negative space above there are quite often do suggests a design control.

  On the web, I saw simple HTML, but also JAVASCRIPT solutions - and I like to keep the solution as simple as possible.

  On this forum, there are a few discussions of pagebreak, but no simple and final solution.

  However, the best solution for printing, is to use a PDF file, what they are for. Create a PDF file containing the same data. You have total control over the printing format in this case. Have a look here http://www.fpdf.org/

• White pages being inserted between the body and the table header

  When I fill a textbox extensible in a line of body of table with large amounts of text (about 2 pages worth) I get a blank page is inserted after the first line of table header before the first line of the table body.

  I have attached a sample form that demonstrates this problem and also attached the sample text in a separate text file.

  Any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

  This is a case where using a table is more difficult. I created another example which shows how to do this.

  Note that I put the version target 9 (I think remember me that the fields when not allowed out through)

  pages in version 8, but I'm not 100% sure).

• Header style page break problem

  I create an EPUB book and I have a problem with page breaks.

  I'm trying to force a page break for the paragraph header style, but it does not work. Specifically, I chose to change the paragraph style I want, in this case heading Style, and then choose keep Options, then start paragraph: on the next Page. I also check the exported CSS code and it says page-break-before: always. However, when I export my EPUB, there is NO page break before the header (I have maybe two headers in the same page). How is that possible? Is there another solution?

  On EPUB recomposable Layout Export Options, have you checked Split Document > from the paragraph tags Style export?
