This error occurs usually after a computer has been infected then first make sure the computer is completely virus/malware-free.

If the computer is completely clean - and only after that you have done the analysis of malware:

Then locate the disk quotas that can be defined. If the machine is clean and there is no set of disk quotas, copy the lines between asterisks a Notepad document and save it as undopolicy.reg. Double-click undopolicy.reg to merge into registry.

  • Color of the work space error

For the last day, I had ID displays the error message when I open any file.

This is to get the error message...

    sRGB_not_Adobe_RGB.jpg

I have used __never__ sRGB for all print jobs (I use Adobe RGB (1998))... so I don't see how this can happen.

I have triple everything checked out my color settings and not Bridge, ID, Photoshop, Illustrator... nothing is set to sRGB which is related to printing.

Also, none of my image files are marked by an sRGB profile.

So why I get this error message?

I did a test and changed my work ID in sRGB space...

MenuBar ID > edit > color settings > workspaces: sRGB

.. .and then all of my files open without an error message.

I thought it might be a corrupt "csf" file (i.e. settings saved color) so I reset each menu workspace individually... restarted ID..., but still have the same problem.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

The message of error refers to the color assigned to the document, space not profiles of individual images. Workspaces travel with the file, so if you started using the default values, you probably have been using North America General color settings, using sRGB and coated SWOP2, and disable all warnings (or you are opeing files to someone else and they used sRGB as a workspace) , and you have changed since your color settings default to something a little more useful to a professional.

Generally, I leave these docs as-is to avoid unexpected color shifts or rich black type conversion CMYK (not the problem here) and unless you're out RGB space is essentially not relevant, and again, I think that it is better to make the conversion to the output, if necessary.

  • Preservation of colours and space data going in and out of L.A.B for improving colors

There was a similar post 2 years ago, who not quite answered that very question.

I use a technique to improve the colors by converting in the LABORATORY and in application of the image in a mixture of overlay or softlight. My RGB images are all stored in the ProPhoto color space. They are all in RAW format (specifically about Nikon. (NEF). When I get in the LAB and then in RGB, it seems that ProPhoto are replaced by space color sRGB.

I then convert from sRGB to ProPhoto.

In this process, am I losing data of color as the range is pressed in sRGB which is not returned after going back to ProPhoto?

    Hey Stan,

My first instinct is to ask how you go from lab to RGB.

Your settings Color PS maybe sRGB as the default value.  If you simply select mode / RGB, it will convert your lab color space sRGB profile. Certainly not what you're looking for.

You have two options, if this is the case.  You can open your color settings window by choosing the Edit menu.  Stand ProPhoto in your RGB setting by default if that's what you prefer to use most of the time.  You can save multiple custom configurations and choose them when they agree to the task at hand.

In addition, instead of select mode / RGB, you can choose "convert to profile" in the main menu to modify and configure your conversion it.  I usually use prefer to use this approach, since I can experiment with different settings.  It also ensures that I am converting my planned profile.

  • Purple print looks rose-magenta

    I have a HP Deskjet 3522 all-in-one

I've had a few weeks ago, and I am trying to print a clipart purple-however, the image looks purple/pink on paper.

I am tired of cleaning the print head, 6 colors that print ok after glance, purple looks like purple or slightly bluish violet

If I change the color of the image in blue print blue.

I've updated the frimware today, which did not help either

What else can I do to fix this?

To be exact, the computers do not appear violet, it shows only red/green/blue, and it is the setting of the red and blue number right and maybe even some green for you get the color purple. If you have a magnifying glass, put it on the computer screen, and you'll know what I mean. Computers have to tell the printer that Purple is when impression is why things like "color management", "color profile" to help so that the computer and the printer speak in the same language. There is usually a default parameter, and if all of them use the same parameter, prints out 'match', if the setting is incorrect, you may find yourself with some far from color.
    So my suggestions are always:
    1. check the configuration of your monitor, some monitor has a button (or software control menu) to set the color temperature, try to change and see if the color on the screen has changed. Cause if you use the "simple color palette", then probably not the monitor. then
    2. If you are on windows, right mouse on the printer and select "Printer properties", there is a 'Color management' tab on the dialog box, which is the color space or profile being used?

    Hi Alex,

I wanted you to know what you see is the result of a color profile embedded in the image.  Displacement is caused by the conversion of space color profile to the color space of the screen.  We currently do not entirely support images of color profile so the best work around is to remove the color profile before you import it in XD.

  • Why the colors in the images incorporated into word export (TIFF/JPEG) badly ruined Acrobat?

I chose this forum instead of printing and prepress forum, because I have a very limited knowledge of existing color space and profile and I didn't want to be (1) leaked and (2) overwhelmed by the level of technical detail.

When I try to PDF to a word document that contains a TIFF image, the TIFF image appears SIGNIFICANTLY off the coast of color.  I was able to significantly correct the problem by extracting the TIFF image in the Word document and save in JPEG format, but it is not yet 100%.

    Here's what I know:

    I use Windows 7; Word 2010; and Acrobat X.  I also CS5.1 Photoshop and InDesign CS4.

"My color SETTINGS are put in correspondence in each application was related to my monitor, and my monitor is set to the system default, which is a default system: sRGBIEC61966 - 2.1"

I use the document for professional purposes, so the color matching is important to me, but I work with what is available to me in a non-profit, which means a monitor Acer X183h and a networked Canon iR C5185 desktop printer and no real color management or equipment policy.

I'm looking for the best possible solution maintain the performance of color between the monitor and the printer.

Incredibly that I posted this, the solution came to me - I leave it to the moderators to determine whether it should be retained or deleted.  I wasn't able to find any help on this and it might be useful to other users.

The image itself which has been incorporated into the Word Document has a CMYK profile. It displayed correctly in the software, but would not convert to PDF or print. I have the source file open in Photoshop and converted it to my profile, and then added to the word document and it is now reliable breed in the right color.

Since the removal of the external images in word is a common work process (if there is also mediocre) for creating documents in the non-profit organization of people, I think that this type of information could be useful in the knowlegebase.

  • Why are different colors Photoshop and Illustrator kuler?

When I color in kuler, I get the RGB and CMYK numbers for them.

When I enter the RGB in Photoshop, I get different CMYK values.

When I enter the CMYK in Illustrator, I get different values of RBG.

    Which I believe?

I guess it must be something to do with color profiles. Can someone advise please?

    Thank you

P.S. I asked this before in the kuler forum but this forum is very quiet .

The numbers are specific to the color space. If working spaces/document profiles are different, you will get different numbers for the same color.

In addition, a color may be out of gamut in a particular color space and cannot be reproduced here, so it is cut to the closest reproducible color.

  • pdf creation of the SAME SIZE of two pdf files

I'm probably not follow instructions very well, and I'm not finding an explanation in the documentation so I hope someone can help me here.

I have two pdf files. one is a cover of a magazine page, and the other is a page within the magazine where my work is mentioned. I want to combine these two PDF in a SINGLE pdf, but in a way that both the pdf is the same size. I feel like I am missing a setting somewhere for it as whenever I do this inside page is printed on the pdf document to half the size of the cover page.

I tried to save out in png and making sure they are the same size and resolution, but it prints (except Preview) with white around the borders.

I tried recording outside in optimized PDF and affecting the sizes 8 x 11 and 72 dpi but this then prints out Acrobat as a very pixelated in the document that are not readable.

can someone help me with a step by step on how this can be done? It seems that I should just be able to open two random pdf files in the menu CREATE and then tell Acrobat to print to a specified size (this would be easy!), but I must be missing something.

    TIA

    Hotwheels 222,

It might help to think that PDF is a container that can have many things such as texts, photos, graphics, vector elements, etc. all wrapped up in it.

Normally, the content is created in another application such as InDesign, Illustrator, MS Word or many other applications. In the application you create a blank document and add or place images, type text in any font you want to place or create some elements of vector (if the application has actually vector tools)and even other multimedia such as audio and video as long as the application supports,

Photos can all have a different resolution, vector elements have no resolution (I'll explain), the text can be in many different fonts, and they all keep their distinct characteristics within the PDF file.

A PDF file created from an application like Photoshop will be just a resolution, because the PS is a pixel in the image editor and a PS document can have only one resolution.

.. .the idea that two adobe products cannot communicate Acrobat to photoshop in terms of a resolution of pdf in photoshop seems very awkward... Once again, as a PDF file may have a lot of pictures with different resolutions, even if the PS could get this info (which may not) what PS resolution would decide to use? PS sheets it is up to the user to decide based on what they want their final production can be.

You mention a document you have this "seems no inserted images" and "it appears as if there is an image"?

The pdf of the cover are you referring?  The PDF producer is "Adobe Acrobat Image Conversion plug-in 10.0" is a tip out of 'Test Name screen' and thought it came from Photoshop.

While possible, this document was created entirely in Photoshop, it is also likely that it was created in another application such as InDesign, exported from here in PDF and then PDF etc. was opened in Photoshop that rasterizes the content and flattened into an image file with the resolution you have chosen when opening in PS and then saved as just an image in PDF format. The graphic designer who created this probably did this because they did not want to give you a print quality PDF that you can try to extract the elements of.

You mentioned that you thought that the doc was in Adobe Illustrator (AI) HAVE is primarily a tool for creating vector allowing also to the pixel for inclusion based raster images (with a resolution of specific pixels) to be included in a document of AI if wanted.  Strictly speaking, vector objects do not have a resolution. They are based on mathematics,

He said essentially, put a point to such & such X, coordinated, now, put an another punch to another X, Y coordinates, it takes account of the arc or angle between the two points and said to draw a straight line, or draw a curved line, etc. Since it is only the mathematical instructions. This can be as large as you want and the relationship between the 2 points and the arc of the curve or line will dictate how the extended line or curve will be redrawn enlarged.

Vectors are 'independent of the resolution' you can draw a vector logo to 1 x 1 inches and enlarge it to 50 x 50 inches or even as important as a home and it will always print crisp and clean. Notice, that this applies only to vector content in your document; pixel content is blocked in the resolution, it was created in the.

To inspect the elements in a PDF document using the object Inspector in Acrobat Pro. Since a PDF file can contain several different objects, you have to click exactly on each object to get information about the selected object. So if you had 10 photos in your PDF you must select each in turn and he would give you the size in pixels, resolution, color space and profile, etc if you have clicked on the text, it will identify the police. It is well named, an Inspector of the object rather than a Document Inspector. Try it yourself with the different PDF files that you may encounter. If for example, it gives you the exact same info (resolution, pixel dimensions etc.) bit matter when you click, then you're probably dealing with a simple image. If you get the dimension in different pixels, resolutions when you click in different areas, you're dealing with a PDF file that had separated the distinct elements.

I don't see why I shouldn't be able to get a document that is located at 17.7 x 22.9 to 72 dpi up to one that is 8 x 11 at 300 ppi.

In Photoshop, go to the Image, the Image Size menu. This will show the dimensions in pixels (width & height) at the top. If you don't interpolate (resample) Photoshop can only put the same number of pixels in different size documents. When you press it same number of pixels in a smaller resolution doc increases. When you place the same number of pixels in a larger doc and the resolution fails.

Don't forget, that the resolution is PPI (Pixels Per Inch). If you do the math it starts to make sense.

Below notes that each dialog box features the same EXACT pixel dimensions.

In the first box, it shows the 1275 x 1650 pixels in a document of 17.708 22.917 x inches. This gives a resolution of 72 DPI.

In the second box, I changed the size of the document to 8.5 x 11 inches and pixels of 1275 x 1650 even now increase the resolution to 150 DPI.

In the third box, I changed the resolution to 300 DPI and the pixels of 1275 x 1650 even now decrease the size of the document to 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

If you check the resampling, Photoshop will interpolate (resample) image to throw the pixels, or adding pixels, but there is no magic involved and the results are never as good as we could hope.

Like Goldilocks and the 3 bears, some things are better when they are 'fair '.

  • locally managed tablespace and confused fragmentation

    Hello

I understand that its impossible to have a locally managed tablespace fragmentation, but when I run the following query I get
    select
    tablespace_name,
    COUNT(*) cnt_free_chunk,
    decode( round((max(BYTES) / 1024),2),
    null,0, round((max(BYTES) / 1024),2)) largest_chunk
    from dba_free_space
    group by tablespace_name
    order by 2 desc ,1

    TABLESPACE_NAME                CNT_FREE_CHUNK              LARGEST_CHUNK
    ------------------------------              --------------                         -------------
    USR_IDX_TBS                         1739                               2359296
The tablespace shows it was not plugged and uses LMT with SAMS.

user9243284, you should not assimilate several free extensions as meaing the free space is fragmented even for dictionary managed tablespaces, much less for those locally managed.

Really, what determines if the tablespace freespace is fragmented, it's if the available free space can be used or not when objects extend. You must map the extents of tablespace to get a better idea if the number of extensions of the free space indicates a problem could exist.

In the case of a tablespace locally managed with uniform extents, free space fragmentation is impossible, because never available to what extent is the same size for each request for space is satisfied until there is no free extensions.

However when-auto-assignment is a range of sizes of measurement are used where each larger size is a multiple of the previous size, which reduces the changes of Oracle is not able to respond to a request for free measure; However, contrary to belief the automatic assignment method does not eliminate completely the free space fragmentation.

It is always possible to have a request for lack of space automatic sub-allotment when the total free space exceeds the amount of space requested. This can occur in two situations:

First of all, the tablespace has been converted into place of dictionary to locally managed. Existing objects are not affected by the conversion so any existence before the conversion disorder still exists after the conversion.

Second, where there are a few large objects stored with many small objects and the tablespace data files are either fixed in size max extended nearby, then it is possible to have a request for an extension of the free fail even if the total free space is greater than the measure requested. Say you want to 8 M and the tablespace has 40 M free. It may be that none of the extents are contiguous, if the request fails. Now, with a request for 64 M, Oracle will resign the next size measure and use up to 120 degrees of 8 M but more small scale application size are not not resigned in size (at least from my last test).

I had this happen with a product of the vendor who provides the user the ability to create work tables and add indexes via the application. I love the uniform measure for this reason tablespaces.

  • Color management does not work in AE

I have color manage everything that I did in Photoshop and Lightroom without a hitch.

After Effects CS5 not color correctly handles.  It simply doesn't get it.  The only setting I could find that he'll simply ask if you want it to be more accurate.

Maybe there are other settings somewhere, but I have not found.

Is there anyone out there who really understands the management of color that has the same problem?

I want to be able to see on my screen wide range during the preview of EI, what I see in Photoshop.  I work with still images and thought that AE would simply allow me to display my images based on my color profile.

AE will recognize integrated patterns of colors, but you still need to tell him how to keep or convert them by setting the color space of the project in the project options and assigning insight (proof) profile to your model (your profile monitor in this case) and according to what other stuff figures, you need to face the options of linearization and replacements of Gamma or manually apply a color profile Converter effect. Anyway, depending on what you are after and where you plan to use your resulting video, none of this may make sense, and you can be to tackle the problem from the wrong end. If your files will be on a DVD, BluRay, or as a Flash video on the web, deep adjustments using your own profiels won't do any good, color spaces and profiles targets for specific video formats are set. So in fact, you may have to spend the time to adjust your images to work without color profiles or the sRGB standard profile at least...

  • OMF and to what extent the management

I have a few questions about OMF, missmanagement and go to 10g:

    (1) if I mostly BLOB data, it would be better to create a bigfile tablespace or not?
    (2) for the management of the measure, should I do allocate local?
    (3) if I use the OMF, can I still specify autoextend for the data files?
    (4) if I create a storage space for the BLOB data, which would be a good idea? Then do everything else in another space, or one doesn't do that?

    1. you probably don't use bigfile tablespaces, less that the total size of the storage space exceeds the maximum size allowed for a database based on the Oracle block size (32 G for 8 k) and use of several data files to support a tablespace is not desired.

Only if the object is actually going to be very important and the total number or size of the files needed in support of your database can be a problem should you consider using a bigfile tablespace. If all of the LOB data will be in the range of Teragbyte so yes.

    2. Yes, you must use a locally managed tablespace. Automatic assignment would probably be good. Auto-allocagte takes into account the extensive application and spend more of 64 degrees k and 1 M if the initial allocation is sufficient.

    3. I think so.

4 - If you need a space for the BLOB data will depend on the expected total size, your decision to point 1 above, and if you want to use uniform extensions on the base table or lob segment that are either different in the size of each other or you want to use auto-allouer for but not the other.

The segment size is very important with LOB space use/reuse. With 11g, you can convert files secured basic file usage (10g and below CLOB and BLOB segments) to get best performance and storage methods, used internally by Oracle.

    Hi all
I have a dolphin3_t of schema and only used by him, other than system, temp and sysaux tablespace is PHIN_DATA1. Last night a time problem where space exceeded for tablespace but the scheme as such has 19 GB size where as
the tablespace has 32 gb (maximum value), but a data file has been added to with 32 GB storage space. But how is that possible.

    SELECT Sum (bytes) / 1024/1024/1024 OF dba_data_files WHERE nom_tablespace LIKE 'PHIN_DATA1 '.
    61.6015625

    SELECT Sum (bytes) / 1024/1024/1024 OF dba_segments owner WHERE to = "DOLPHIN3_T."

If the first statement to query a value less than that given by the second query.
Note: The storage space is used by dolphin3_t schema only.

My guess is that the other guy shift mistook the lack of quota for lack of space in the data file.

You cannot merge... but a way around this would be...

check wat objects in datafile2... then based on that create a different tablespace

move the object of datafile2 for the new tablespace...

    fall of datafile2...

give your old tablespace that will datafile1 the purpose of the new tablespace creation.

    for example...
    ALTER table TableName move tablespace;
    ALTER index indename tablespace rebluid;

    1. the first thing to do is to make sure that the computer is completely virus/malware-free. Googling around this error produced quite a few links where the posters were or had been infected with Spyware Protect 2009 rogue.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Once the scanning is complete (do not skip the preparatory stages no more), if the problem persists:

    2. double-click on my computer, right-click the icon for your hard drive, click left to get its properties. If you see options to set Quota management make sure that they are disabled.

    3. in the case - BUT ONLY AFTER YOU ARE sure THAT THE MACHINE IS MALWARE/VIRUS-FREE - copy the lines between asterisks (not including the asterisks) below and paste it into Notepad.
