Spam blocking: setting up a list of "allowed" senders of e-mail with Windows Live Mail?

I have on the execution of ideas to put in place of the blocked domains and keywords blocked with Windows Live Mail.  These work well, but the spammers are constantly thinking up new things that I've not yet blocked.  So, I would like to put up a 'allowed' list of email addresses that I want to go to my box and everything else go to the junk e-mail folder.  I have several thousand "authorized" addresses, in a worksheet.  Someone knows a way to do this?

One thing is certain, it's actually pretty easy.

  1. Click on the arrow under "Junk" in the toolbar, and then click Security Options:

  2. Use the 'Safe list' option only

  3. Add the people that you trust to the allow list in the top tab.

Tip: you can automatically add your address book, so that anyone in your contacts is automatically secure without having to add them manually.  You can also automatically add anyone you send outgoing messages, so that their response is considered safe when they respond back.

  • How can I create a list of allowed senders

    wendydunn

    Hey wendydunn!

I assume you mean of ePrint. If I'm not mistaken, so you first need to do is make sure that you have registered with eprintcenter.com. Once you have registered (or signed in if you have been already registered), you must select the button on the side left that says 'ePrint Settings. " From there, select allowed senders in the tabs at the top, then click on admitted only shippers. Then you simply enter an email address, you want to be able to send to your printer!

  • Why Adobe 64 Flashutil is listed as a process in my task with Windows 7 and IE 11 Manager utility

Why Adobe 64 Flashutil is listed as a process in my task manager utility with Windows 7 and IE 11?    What is and what is its role?

    Thank you

    TomS

It's an artifact of sandboxing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandbox _ (computer_security)).   The part of Flash Player dealing with untrusted content on the web is running as a low integrity process.  When Flash Player needs more privileges on the system, there is a much smaller medium integrity process called the broker who made these requests on behalf of the low integrity process.  It is a defense in depth mechanism to make it more difficult for an attacker to exploit a crash in a way that allows them to control the larger system.

  • How can I add a contact to my list of contacts with Windows Live Mail

I have a list of contacts.  To send a message, I click on the arrow to and list comes up.  I'm not able to add to this list.   If I search for a contact, a new will be on this list, but not the one to use for e-mail messages.

Can't seen to find anything in the help section, can someone help me?  Thank you

Switch to the contacts window by clicking the address book at the foot of the pane or by pressing Ctrl-3 records. The commands you need to add and edit the contacts are both on the Ribbon or on the context menu.

    Concerning

    Maton

    Hi Matt,

This forum is for MSE who cannot restrict access of Web site you want.

One of the possible methods that comes to mind uses the Parental http://www.windows-help-central.com/parental-controls-in-windows-xp.html may control with Windows Live Family Safety http://explore.live.com/windows-live-family-safety?os=other (according to the version of XP and whether or not you have a workgroup or domain LAN).  When you set up, allow *.gov, but reject all other types you can imagine (I don't think there is a way to allow only .gov, but you can exclude most if not all of the other busiest - check domain name registrars to get a list of options).  If you use a domain, way to go would be with a custom domain group policy to restrict access on all of the network (except perhaps the server or individuals of special category in Active Directory if you want).

If that is not the case, and I think it might, please repost your question in the following forum to get the expert assistance you need: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-networking?page=1&tab=all.

    I hope this helps.

Original title: Windows Live Movie Maker

Hello! I have a problem with windows live movie maker. I had been using windows live movie maker before and was able to make several projects already.  But recently I could no longer open my files and the following messages keep appearing on: "Windows Live Movie Maker has stopped working.  A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.  I downloaded the Windows Live Movie Maker program several times, but it does not work.  Does this mean I can have deleted a file/program to do work and recover all the projects I've done?  I remembered that once, I was removing a "Windows Live" in the program folder files because I wasn't happy with the Windows Live Messenger, kept popping up, which was not able to use, so I removed it from the list. Help, please!

Original title: blocked site. What is happening and how to fix it?

Windows live blocked my site. I was told to get my phone number to get a code that would verify that I was the owner of the site. I did exactly that, but the site is still blocked.  What is the problem and how to unlock it?  I really get annoyed, because there was no specific reason given for the block. Nothing, that I could understand, in any case.

All support is GRACIOUSLY accepted and appreciated!

  • Parental control blocks WMA format audio playback of the site on the list of allowed sites

I use Windows Vista Home Edition basic pm a Compaq desktop computer. I've set up parental controls for the user account of my son. Under parental controls, I've marked ', apply the current settings,' ' we vires infromation on the use of the activity, ' no time limit are marked, games is marked not for theirs does not, all programs are allowed - none is marked to the block, and web restrictions are marked Allow list only. When he goes to his school site at home (which is on the list of allowed sites) and clicks on an audio conference that is WMA format it said of a box with Windows Media Player, along the top border and the message: Windows Media Player cannot perform the requested operation because the Parental control filter Web is turned on. To enable this action, ask your administrator to disable the web filter for your user account. Is it possible to get this set up so I don't have to temporarily turn off the parental control. Which kind of defeated the purpose controls, if I turn them off for this presentation, he will have free access to the Internet until I turn it back on. This means that I need to sit on it during the time that parental control is switched off! Not funny! I love being able to allow only the sites that I approved, if I could just allow him to hear the audio to WMA format that would be great. Any ideas?
