spam filtering

Is it possible to filter emails that are downloaded to my palm pre?  For the moment everything is to come through, and there are a lot of spam.

Thank you.

There is no spam filtering available on any mobile phone that I know. I recommend to review the settings for junk e-mail from your ISP and see if you can solve the problem of their marking of legitimate messages as spam.

  • Junk e-mail filtering, continues after activate spam filtering is unchecked.

I don't want E-mail on El Capitan to filter all mail to the junk e-mail folder. I unchecked enable mail junk filtering. I restarted Mail since unchecking filtering. I rebooted since unchecking filtering. As he did when the checked enable spam filtering, spam filtering continues. The only difference is that it allows garbage by now and does not mark as spam. He only filter emails at random junk from previous senders. Move the emails filtered from previous senders in the Inbox do not form the filter to allow this sender. Rules do not affect filtering of spam. For some shippers, I kept adding rules saying mail to the sender mail in the Inbox has never worked. Send these shippers go always undesirable.

Junk mail filtering was overall a failure, so I want to turn it off. How can I disable junk mail so that it is actually not filtering?

    Thank you

What email provider is the associated e-mail account? They have their own filtering.

iCloud separate filtering on the Web site.

Gmail offers a separate Web site filtering.

One of these could explain why messages are moved to the junk e-mail folder, but not labeled as junk mail.

original title: strange error on emailing photos
I used Hotmail and Google Chrome on the front, send and receive emails and attachments without any problems until recently.

Lately, trying to send a few family photos (no message) I got the following error message:

"Your message seems to have triggered our spam filters.  Could you edit your post and try again?  Learn more. »
I tried to "Learn more" and did not.
The question is, how can a bunch of private photos trigger anything, especially because the real junk that reached me obviously don't.

  • Problems with CapitalOne360 of spam filtering?

I've been away e-mail CapitalOne360 legitimate and important.  Is anyone aware of this problem?  My quick reading of the "net has not turned a clear discussion.

I have since run tests myself and find that I will not receive CapitalOne360 emails from person to person ("P2P") if the sender list my e-mail address of Apple.  But if they use a different e-mail address, it works very well.

Also, I tested with other members of the family, and some use different Internet service providers and are * any * of them received these messages from CapitalOne360.

A suggestion that has been made since a message board I'm on, it's that filters spam for the Apple Server block these legitimate emails.  Can someone comment since an informed position if this is possible and likely to be the cause?  And if so, is it possible for me to see these blocked messages and validate that they are legitimate?  Find it me hard to believe that legitimate banking emails are getting swallowed with no way to see them.  And not hear the tumult in the internet.

I also welcome to hear any other theory of what could happen, so I can be better informed when I re - engage CapitalOne360 this topic.

    Thanks in advance.

Looks like you might have met Apple filtering infamous silent - http://www.macworld.com/article/2029570/silent-email-filtering-makes-icloud-an-u nreliable - option.html, which, if this is the case, I suggest that you contact the Apple Support and more information as to why this particular sender is to be blacklisted, then ask it be removed.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones for Blackberry Spam filtering?

My Outlook filters a boatload of spam in the spam mail folder / in bulk, and I never see it, using only the always native junkmail from Microsoft. Which is excellent.

But every email that comes in outlook - pharma advertising or non - gets sent to the blackberry. Less great.

Is there a way to get only the emails that are not redirected to the SpamFilter coming to blackberry?

Thank you very much for your help.

NB: I am running Vista and the latest version of Outlook. If that matters.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

The BlackBerry smart phone doesn't have a spam filter. You can set filters on the BIS website for your carrier.

(if you do not know the BIS Web site for your carrier, send me the name and I can't find the BIS site.)

Here are two links for the site of the BRI and setting up filters:

  • Since the upgrade to Sierra, Mail will not recognize or filter spam

I'm having the problem where almost nothing goes in my junk e-mail folder. I rechecked my mail spam filtering preferences and I have it configured to enable filtering and move the Junk to junk e-mail folder. Those are the only two boxes checked. That the mail comes, I have systematically report as junk, but no matter how many times I do that junk mail is still not reported as spam in the future, nor is it place in my spam box. I really don't know what to do at this point.

  • I set up filters and now I want to change, but how?

Several years ago, I have implemented filters to automatically move Spam messages so the subject line contained some words $ win, Lotto and so on. These filters are always active.
Now, I want to make some changes but could not find the method that I used once.

If you use Firefox to access your e-mail, you use "webmail". You must seek assistance from your service provider or a forum for this service.

  • Outlook for Mac, anti-SPAM, but not on iPhone or webmail

I have a Macbook Air running Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2015 (version 15.24).  I have several e-mail accounts managed by Outlook.  I often get emails from spam/spam in Outlook, but the spam/junk e-mail does not appear on my iPhone or webmail interface (in all including unwanted folders, inbox etc..)  It only appears in Outlook.  And lately the frequency and the number has increased.  I ran several anti-spam, adware, spyware, programs etc, but no luck finding anything.  Any ideas on what I can do?

First, determine what email account spam comes in. Chances are that it is a story that is not configured on your phone or is configured as a POP3 account, resulting in messages being deleted from the server once downloaded by Outlook.

Then see what kind of this e-mail provider of server-based spam filtering offers.

  • Why, all of a sudden I have a folder called Spam, full of stuff? How can I get rid of the things?

All of a sudden I have a Spam folder and it is filled with "stuff", I don't have before and want to know how to get rid of the "stuff", I know I can remove the folder, but do not know if this is something I should do.

Thunderbird does not use the word Spam or create a junk mail folder. Your e-mail provider.
Just look in the folder and remove any message you want. Some spam filters are not that large to determine what is or is not spam and there could be some messages in there that you want to read or keep.
It is not the end of the world. Simply sort the message in there.

  • Thunderbird can my ISP what is spam?

Thunderbird and my ISP have spam filters. It would be really nice if Thunderbird could provide feedback to the ISP on what I think, it's spam. In other words, when I called a message as spam, Thunderbird sends the message and the designation of spam to the SpamFilter ISP. (As different ISPs use different anti-spam filters, this aspect should be done somehow universally so that ISP filters by different developers can use this information.)

There are two advantages to this. First, it would allow me to train the filter of the ISP so that less spam reaches me. Secondly, assuming that the SpamFilter ISP uses messages of all users to determine what is spam (rather than on a per-user basis), it would allow customers to the ISP define together what is spam, which reduces spam by most all an individual user could do.

    Thank you.

If you are using an IMAP e-mail account, then your choice of spam is sent to your email through the movement of the mail provider in the SPAM folder. Unfortunately not all providers have left of the 20th century still only offer a pop POP access is not interactive and does not know there is anything on a server, but an Inbox that must be downloaded.

  • where the spam is stored

some messages have not arrived. I guess they must look like spam. What happens to them, please?

Thunderbird does not use the word Spam. He calls it junk. The default action is to place the trash can beside him icon and put it in your Inbox. You can go into unnecessary controls and change it.

Your email provide more than likely has spam filters and a junk folder. Sign in to your account to their web mail page to manage these items.
