My emails are synchronized between my PC and my Bold 9900 to the usual, but I can't stop messages that are automatically put in my Junk folder / (so invisible) to be transferred to my smartphone. If I go into management/e-mail inbox accounts and uncheck the box my e-mail account I do not receive emails at all.  What can I do to solve the problem, please?

John_Clark means that the Inbox on the server. In fact, he wrote exactly that.

If spam is in the Inbox on the server when BIS checks, it will push your BlackBerry just like any other message if a filter anti-spam on the server redirects the spam directly in a junk folder or spam is deleted from the Inbox before BIS sees it, then it won't be pushed to your device.

Your email provider probably provides spam filtering. Access you and activate it by logging into your email provider online using a Web browser. That's what you need to do.

Spam, filtering by your computer email client has no effect on your BlackBerry as well as the interactions between your BlackBerry and BIS and between BIS and your mail servers.

    * There is no data published on spam filtering by BIS. I suspect that he is a. I received for the most part never spam, but sometimes I do it for a little while, and then it would stop.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones spam

    Hello

I am a user "BOLD" and on Vodafone

I have a server that does not have a spam filter and also to block additional spam in my email on my PC

    BUT

MY blackberry receives inoridiante spam - I understand that my PC filter won't help, but is it possible that I can train the e-mails entering my phone so that it is cut or registered as spam?

the only thing I have manged to do is create a spam folder to submit the receipt to the post, but it's not wehat I want I want to reduce the volume of spam in rreceived

    Hello

What you need to do is to talk to your e-mail service provider. If they can introduce a SPAM filter that blocks the issue happens on the Inbox server, it can be kept of the BB. But if their filter works after the items arrive in the Inbox, there's a strong chance that the item will be pushed to your BB before the filter based on the server it moves.

The only thing you can do on your BB is doing filters of the Institute:

    • KB28151 How to add a filter from the BlackBerry smartphone to a BlackBerry Internet Service account

You have to do it totally manually, find out for yourself what can be used as filter triggers. If, for example, your service e-mail up [SPAM] or another label in the subject but line leave items in your Inbox, you can use it as your trigger to prevent these elements come to the BB (on condition, of course, that the label is applied to the subject line until the element never gets to the Inbox server).

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones spam and not the removal of Blackberry

I'm having a real problem of spam at the moment (have filters etc, but still get the 65 more per day) which means that my BB is clogged with 100 messages from duff, then I need to delete 1 by one. takes forever!

Thought, he would have the sync when deleting the pc - it doesn't.

    Anyone know how to

    1 syncronize remove PC

2 remove more than 1 email at the same time?

    Very appreciated

    1. you can synchronize or reconcile the messages and messages on a personal account of BIS. You will need BES for this function.

    2. go into your first message to remove, press SHIFT and hold while you scroll through the other adjacent messages should be deleted. Press DELETE.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Spam Driving me Nuts!

I did everything what I found or which as suggested.  However, my device message box is full every day. I even made "unsubscribe" think on tons of sites. I reset to high on the PC.   No matter what?

That has me thinking: when I was sitting the 8310 I obviously set up my main email.  I also have a Blackberyy.Net email account.  Do I still need this?  I myself remember well it was suggested in the installation program.  Spam comes through BB?  I always have full access to sms, etc. If I remove the email from BB?

    I am looking for

Good as far as why bring you on the bb but is hot on the PC, because you have not configured the option in the account of readruner leave a copy of message on the server. This means that if your PC is in sleep mode, and that your BB is enabled, the BB will get the message and the Roarunner server then removes the message from the server. When you turn on your PC, the messages are not on the server, if you do not get them there. If you want to you emails on the PC as well as the BB go for roadruner e-mail account and find the option t leave messages on the server.

With regard to the problem of spam. Set up a new Roaddrunner account, you can never get rid of the spam as it is now associated with the account. You will be able to import your contacts on between accounts and all your old emails. Roadrunner will also send an email to your list of contacts, telling them of your new email address and held the old account open and reach you anyone using the old address. I think it's the best way to stop spam on your account.

The message queue is configured to get all messages. Those you see in the Roadrunner email icon is the same as those in your queue of messages, is easier to use the queue of messages. Can you read and delete from there,

emails are deleted from the icon as well. And once you reduce the spam you will have less traffic to deal with.

Please let me know your thoughts!

    Thank you

    P. S. One last point, you may know that, so I apologize if you do. Set up a Gmail account, yahoo account when I need give an email address on a site (Amazon for example) then the spam is sent to her and not to your main account. Don't use your roadrunner account when dealing with contact and trusted sites.

  • BlackBerry smartphones filtered junk e-mail message alert tone

    Hello

I wonder if someone is able to solve a problem I have.

I downloaded Antair spam filter so that I'm not bothered by unwanted emails. The problem I find is that my Blackberry still sounds the alert message tone, even if incoming spam is filtered. It goes against the object that I'm always bothered by spam and I have to check if the e-mail is legitimate.

Is it possible to not have the alert tone if the message is spam?

    Thank you very much

    Photobloke

Currently, the order of action is:

    1. someone sends an email to you
    2. your email provider receives e-mail
    3. your email provider treats the junk e-mail filtering and deleting
    4. BIS sees that there is an email
    5. BIS delivers email on your device
    6. your device receives email and treats the notification
    7. Antair detects you have received an email and spam filtering and the removal of the process

so no, it is not possible for you both:

    • receive a notification when Antair considers that it is not spam
    • receives notification when Antair believes that it is a spam

  • Recovery of SPAM filtered messages from Hotmail

I noticed that when I use the Hotmail Web access that some of my Email is down in the Hotmail SPAM filtered folder. I have to say Hotmail Web Access that the email is not SPAM. My Smartphone, using the Outlook application, can the SPAM folder and allow me to select messages to be transferred in the BOX.

Thunderbird, download the Hotmail INBOX messages but does not download the mail in SPAM from Hotmail filtered folder. How to retrieve the messages to "ALL" of the Hotmail folders?

A POP account only connects to the e-mail inbox server. You must have your phone configured IMAP so he could show other folders.

  • BlackBerry Passport spam

Hi, like millions of others I get garbage/spam... never used to be a problem that the vast majority would be Royal to my mail in bulk in the hub. During the last weeks when they seem to go directly to my Inbox, so you can imagine how many times a day I get to know that I have an email!

Changed no settings etc, but it starts to become very annoying, because I now have to open the spam email said then place it under the emails in bulk... just to clarify that these emails are always the usual companies etc. used to get headed in bulk before.

    Any ideas?

I see it works with my ISP email account. It's like the cat and mouse with the ISP and the crooks, and last week, in fact, the mouse was to slip through the filters.

The problem is with the messaging service, not the BlackBerry. With regard to ideas, I would like to use a browser to access E-mail messaging service Web Site and mark the unwanted e-mails in your Inbox as spam. You may be able to do using the browser on the device. That's all you can do. If the emails are in the server Inbox, then you will see them in your Inbox on the device. I hope mark spam spam will have some advantages to strengthen the filters.

The only other thing is to use a service with spam filters, if that's an option. For what it's worth, my BlackBerry is personal and I use Outlook.com for the vast majority of my email because the spam filter is so good.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to move incoming emails to Custom application folder

    Hi mohdfarhanakram

Automatically move e-mail messages to a different folder is available only when you're using BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.  Messages will be filtered on the mail server but would appear in these folders on the BlackBerry® smartphone.

I hope that answers your question!

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Smartphones will not allow apps to connect to internet.

    Hey!

I have the 9000 "BOLD", and I have installed Whatsapp on it,

Start of my phone, I get the message: "the Whatsapp application attempted to open an external connection, which is not allowed by your policy."

I tried to change the permissions to Whatsapp, but some of them are grey (those that are grayed out are: network, Internet Server, input simulation, browser filtering and security reset of the counter)

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hello

So I think there is a strategy IT already enabled on your device which does not enable these features, so solve your problem first make a backup of your device using Desktop software or refer to this Article How to backup your BlackBerry

Once you have your backup follow this Knowledge Base and put it back to factory setting, it will disable or delete any policy within your device:

KB31291  :   How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

After a reset using your BlackBerry ID and for restoring your backup, choose a selective restore. Restore only your Contacts, calendar, etc. do not perform a full restore otherwise these COMPUTER strategies that you deleted can re-partner and you must perform these steps again. Do not restore any application, install a fresh copies of each world of BlackBerry.

    Try it and tell us.

Outlook is eliminating most if not all spam, my 8830 is done of each * beep * on the planet and I don't know how to change it.

    Need help bad!

    Hello

Let me know if you need a complete set of user guides and manuals

In the bottom of the post is the link to the BIS site accessed by PC, Versions

Your can have up to 10 on your device email accounts, POP3 is the easiest

    the facility.

I also left a link with instructions to configure the BIS account.

And another for the setting up spam filter.

I couldn't help but notice the note "user friendly". If you tried to do it on your own, how would

BlackBerry have been user friendly or hostile?

This is a site to a user, I have a 8330 and I hang out here a LOT too.

Let me know what you need,

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry "BOLD" and Tmobile Service

I use Blackberry "BOLD" T-Mobile service.  I have the BES data package which includes BIS.  My email Enterprise BES, browser, sync with Exchange server, contacts, calendar, everything works.

Except that... my BIS email setup.  I tried BB device logging to create email. Email Setup Wizard, select "I want to create or add an email address" I get error - we apologize there was an error while trying to access the service.

I also tried logging on my T-Mobile account and click on the web link: e-mail setting blackberry; to create ([email protected]) whenever I click on the link create e-mail blackberry in my T-Mobile account, it gives me an error: we're sorry, there was an error while trying to access the service.

I called T-Mobile repeatedly and the lame excuse they use is: this device is not supported. I said T-Mobile uses the Blackberry 8220 flip phone with using the same OS 4.6, Javalin BB, and BB 8900 use the same service books.  When I call the Blackberry technical support... they spend on the male for T-Mobile.

Is anyone out there using BB Bold with service from T-Mobile with BES/BIS and their professional and personal internet e-mail: works on the "BOLD" BB.  Ideas, thoughts, suggestions and help will be very appreciated.

I hope that someone will be able to solve this problem!

That's what I did.  I took a job my friend T-Mobile 8220, inserted my sim card, connected on T-Mobile and changed the code PIN and IMEI numbers. Blackberry Internet e-mail configuration.  Then return the SIM from my phone is connected to the Tmo Blackberry "BOLD" account and changed the code PIN and IMEI numbers.  Now everything including internet blackberry email and Enterprise BES email works well.

One last question... [email protected] what is the reason for the creation of this email?  Given that you can directly add your existing accounts for gmail, yahoo, or comcast etc..  Why should one create this email? [email protected]

    Appreciate all your responses

You're welcome... glad it works for you.

There is really no reason to get one of these address of @carrier.blackberry.net. They are not visible on any other webmail site and are prone to collect spam, with no available spam filtering options. I advise users to not use it.

However, why some? Because they can. Some users use these addresses to transfer mail from a POP account as these addresses grow instantly by the RIM servers.
