Speaker Echo reduction

Can't really think of a better way to describe this issue.

Audio, I'm was recorded off the coast of a speaker, not the audio line. When both speakers talk you hear a ring/echo/reverb, don't know the exact word for it. Is there a way to reduce this effect without reducing the overall level?

If its someone you have a chance with a reverb plugin. I tried it for vocals on song and it didn't work. There is an effect at the hearing, the noise reduction adaptive, which boasts a deReverb framework that you can try. I was not impressed when I tried it... a decent for the price is deverberate of acon.

Thank you tab (?) for the advice, but I don't have a problem with the wired connection, my problem is with FlashPlayer. with the Control Panel, you could test webcam, microphone, hardware acceleration, the echo reduction, volume, but not the "speaker" that Flash Player will use during a VOICE call.

If you open my http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/he lp03.html #117408 link, it seems that there is a broked page or a missed sign, so I can't test and put in place the speaker in the Flash Player.

  • How to prevent echo over the noise reduction

I had a dickens of a time trying to find how to reduce the echo that remains after the removal of the background noise. However, I do not give to the top and after playing with some of the settings, I believe that I thought about it! I use Adobe Audition CC (6.0). You'll want to follow the steps below as a means of noise reduction, not after it. So we prevent the echo over the noise removal, do not get rid of it... if that makes sense. Then, start with your original audio with noise, then...

    1. Perform normal selection of background noise and sampling procedures, it (SHIFT + P)
    2. Select all audio data (CTRL + A).
    3. Prepare to apply the noise reduction: Effects > restoration/noise reduction > noise (process) or CTRL + SHIFT + P
    4. In the window that appears, I played a bit with the three parameters (see image below):
      • (85%) noise reduction slider
      • Reduce by slider (approximately 40 dB)
      • In the "Advanced" section (you may need to click on the small triangle/arrow to decompress), the spectral decomposition rate (10%). It is this final setting that makes a HUGE difference!
    5. Put audio on the loop if it is a small clip and click the play button to hear a sample of the noise reduction applied.
    6. Adjust the three above mentioned settings until you get the desired effect.
    7. Click 'apply '.

    I hope that helps!

Can I make a suggestion?  Although you're experiences were useful, trying to find a unique size of the entire solution "one pass" probably doesn't give the best results.  Basically, if you hear NR artifacts (the quality that you are referring to) any point you made too much noise reduction only once.

As a general rule, you're better off doing 3 or 4 passes the very slight noise reduction, entering a new sample of noise each time.  For most 'normal' noise, it can also be very useful to increase the size of the FFT (in the Advanced menu) a parameter preset or so before grabbing each of these sequential noise samples.

You have a few options as I see it.

Go into Device Manager and uninstall the sound driver and restart and unit automatically installs the driver.

Try to run the system restore to the date where the unit was working fine.

Try to update the driver from hp.com for Audio & Bios site.

  • PAP2 - other party hears their voice in echo

    Hi all

I love using my PAP2 because calls are massively less expensive but when you call people they often say I its really quiet or they can hear their own voice when they speak, using echo to come back home they find boring. Can someone help me fix these problems?

    I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you very much

martyp : incteasing the Port FXS input gain increases the 'sensitivity' of your microphone. More details and softer sounds will be processed.  It means not NOT automatically increased the volume on the other side, but it will increase the chances for ECHO, as more sensitive microphone is most probably 'hear' the voice of the loudspeaker in the handset.

The exact settings are the 'balance' between voices volumein handset loadspeaker, the used real microphone sensitivity, and eliminating echo as much as possible. Each combination of analog or several phone phones paralel connected, cabling, environmental sounds and the SPA/PAP ATA box will result in unique settings for the gain of the entrance of the Port FXS and FXS ports output gain.

By example, if you hear OK and the other party hears you very poor, and you have acceptable echo, lowering the output of the FXS Gain (for example in 2 => of-5 to-7) will be overtemperature the volume you hear, but you will increase the Gain of FXS of the same value (for example from-5 to-3) and it must be the other party can hear you better while keeping unchanged echo, the total "amplification" in the circuit "VoIP-online output FXS-online environment-online input gain gain => VoIP FXS" remains the same.

At its best, the only way is to experiment. Values are between + 6 and -21 I think, which is a dynamic range of x 9 or more. Values positive actualy means amplification, means reduction of negative values.

  • My laptop volume is very low, even with the maximum setting. It also has a very annoying echo

I tried every setting available on this laptop, go all together if not try several changes in all settings. The volume is still low and has a very annoying reverberation and echo effect, even with these settings turned off. I got it for a week, and I was very happy with any other accept the audio. The reasons for buying this model were media processing and so far I have and become more disgusted daily with her. It is a Pavilion dv6 and it has beat audio software. If anyone has a solution, it would be much appreciated.

    Hello

One thing that can help is the following.  Do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "playback devices".  Left click the device once to highlight default (it is usually 'speakers and headphones') and then click the properties button.  Click the enhancements tab and put a check mark in the box "Loudness equalization.  Click on apply to save the changes and then click OK in all other windows and see if allowed at all.

  • Equium M50-163 has sound-> ongoing echo problems

As the title says, my Toshiba laptop has some problems with the sound. For almost a good 7 months now (I think that I got used to the sound, I hear an echo ' ') my laptop sound, that it either music or speaking in a film, has a permanent 'echo' (as if the sound was the mode of the room).
There is also little or no bass. I tried to adjust the sound settings, but nothing helped, and it isn't the laptop speakers because the sound is the same with external speakers connected to my laptop.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

You have this echo effect only to watch movies or have you noticed that play games or streaming a video from the internet?

From my experience of that many different 3rd party applications supported additional sound effects. These settings might be responsible for you echo.

I also remember that the M50 series supports the virtual sound software. This small program changes the sound effects too.

Select this check box. You should find it in the folder utilities Toshiba.
As far as I know, you can change the settings of the sound from the built-in speakers, headphones and external speakers
Choose the parameters of built-in details, speakers and opens.

There are a few options that could create the echo effect

    Good bye

  • Satellite M50 - big echo during playback of any audio file type

My M50 developed a problem with its sound just now.

When you play ANY type of audio file (music/MP3, internet/YouTube, Windows Media Player, no matter), sounds are played with a great echo.

Opening the window of TOSHIBA Virtual Sound Settings and settings, don't change anything. In fact, I can't change anything - if I set the speaker type (say 'built in speaker' on 'closed type headphones', the sounds are the same.)

I don't remember when the problem arises, but it seems to coincide with the upgrade to SP3 of XP. (I'm under XP Home).

    Any ideas?
    Thank you

    Hello

I believe that no one will be able to say with certainty what the problem is here. I can imagine that Sp3 installed something and now there's this strange sound question.
But I guess it's because of the sound settings. I don't know what player you use but check it please equalizer. Maybe there's something you can change and have good sound back.

  • New engine audio speakers are volume levels asymmetrical, even if I double checked all the connections and checked through balances of speaker system preferences. Help, please?

I have an old desktop iMac to less than 1 year, I've upgraded to El captain of Yosemite.  Just fine, except the quality of the internal speakers.  Yesterday, I received speakers brand new engine audio 5 +.  Hooked by instructions.  Between the speakers volume levels are completely unbalanced. His active in Preferences system - balanced in the Middle, 50-50.  Verified in applications/utilities-audio MIDI output, everything is correctly set.  I can get pay only by the reduction in volume of the speaker on the right to almost nothing, but then I have no more volume than offer the internal speakers.  Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

You use the audio output from your Mac an entry in your speakers or you cross an external DAC first?

I also have the A5 speakers +, and I also use their USB D1 DAC which then audio output runs to the speakers.  Yosemite was a constant headache with my setup, but appears to have been eliminated with El Capitan.  I installed OSX to El Capitan, as well as later make a clean-install of El Capitan purely for my wanting a clean and in both cases, the sound system was very good.  Those who speak of fantastic, better that I have owned yet.

Can you be more specific with how your output of iMac is done?  As usually, always check, then check your connections in your speakers and make sure that the audio cables are intact and not frayed.  If you use the headset, ensure that the headphone cable is robust and doesn't look like not to is damaged/twisted.

You can consider getting the audio DAC AudioEngine to manage your Mac, as it is much better than one built-in that comes in your iMac.  I use it on my new iMac 5K that I received a few weeks ago.

    1. right click the icon of speaker near right lower clock - peripheral of reading

Highlight speakers - properties (right same low page) - tab improvements - check Disable all sound effects
    Apply - OK

    2. check the configuration - Device Manager - sound, video and game controller

Note name and complete model of the audio device - full decription - now double click it.
Driver tab - notice the driver version. Then click on set to update driver (maybe nothing like MS is far
behind the pilots of certification). Then right CLICK on the device - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it will refresh
    the driver stack.

Now go to system Maker and look for the updated drivers (or get the same if no new) it will be
your rescue. Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-RIGHT click in it - RUN AS ADMIN

Then do the same for the manufacturer of the device (like Realtek or who made the device).

NOTE: Often restore audio drivers to check the version after installing and restarting is
see if the version you have installed is there, otherwise repeat the installation - restart until it is. This may take
several tests according to the recommitments how much he makes.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
