Speaker static

I have a desktop HP P6620f running Win7 with 16 GB of ram.  Recently my speakers started having static noises.  I went out and bought a new series (USB Patronics with its cable) and get the same noise.  I changed the cable from the rear of the front Plug and it persists.  Is it possible to clear this up or is the integrated sound card bad?  Thanks for your help.  Jim

Also, I found that a USB hub that I installed was originally a part of the problem.  It had an external power supply, and it could provide a power unprotected in the system.

  • Qosmio F60 - 111 - giving speaker static

    Hello

I got my qosmio a month ago and 2 weeks in I installed the updates that the bulletin board toshiba told me. I then started to mix static on the left and right speakers.

Two sound drivers I have installed the toshiba site (which are the same drivers toshiba bulletin board told me) are:

    1 - realtek high definition audio driver - 6.0.1.6062
    2 - nvidia high definition audio driver - 1.00.00.59

After that go threw etc etc Device Manager and driver toshiba download page and after research threw all the forums I decided that it was a software problem that I could not find that I did a system restore. When the system was released in its original state I started having static again about a week (I don't know if its still a software makes it maybe something I have installed. I could have installed that some software again after I made my system recovery, I'm not sure). I downloaded drivermax, who told me that my sound card drivers are outdated so I installed the latest drivers.

    1 - realtek high definition audio driver - 6.0.1.6257
    high definition 2-nvidia - 1.1.13.0 audio player

Even static once was mixed at times. That's what drivermax was showingme.

    http://www.DriverMax.com/driver/drivers.php?computer_id=WR7V6K17D7CIF4OC0TYT88W7IP 783K & iduser = 1693461

However, after installing random different audio drivers (realtek and nvidia) to drivermax, I had sound work in the right speaker. The left speaker gives a lot of static (I went to the sound in Control Panel - properties - and did a test under the Advanced tab bar. There is this high-pitched noise from the speaker of lelft). I don't want to perform a system recovery again once I have just to many files on my drive hard right now even be embarrassed distance to save them again.

How to restore audio drivers to their original state (i.e. before 6.0.1.6062 and 1.00.00.59). Once the audio drivers are restored if we remain static, that would mean probably this is a software problem and I will then do a system recovery. If ago only static left speaker after recovery should I assume that this is just a hardware problem?

    THX :)

Wait a moment please, your ad is somehow a little confused...

When you retrieve your laptop to factory preinstalled drivers with tools, you have the same behavior or not?
After the installation of recovery, you need to check if the automatic driver updates are disabled (Windows Update) and updated TEMPRO for example not necessary.

But when you install the driver of his most recent of the Toshiba page, you have this static noise on external speakers too or is it just related to internal speakers?

  • Satellite L500 speaker static noise when playing certain CD

My laptop speakers work perfectly. But for some reason, there is noise whenever I play all the songs from any of these CDs: Showbiz, Absolution, H.A.R.P.P Tour 2008 (all of Muse), it's not a problem with the CD, I played them all perfectly on another laptop. The work of great speakers, except with the CD above.
I should also mention that I tried to update the audio drivers.

What is the cause and how to fix it?

    Hello

Have you plugged external speakers to your laptop and you can see the same question it?

In your case, I'd install the latest sound card drivers and BIOS on the Toshiba site. The two you can download on the official website of Toshiba.

In addition, it would be interesting to know what operating system you have. Can test it with the factory settings, please?

  • Inspiron 17r - 5720 problems audio - static, hum, during playback of any audio and the sound of the speaker rear

Hi, I got my laptop for less than a week and there are several problems with the audio. When no matter what audio is supposed to play, only a static noise comes from loudspeakers. This happens when the music plays, or when a sound system is supposed to play.

Occasionally when I start the computer, the rear speaker makes a wooshing, a static sound (like a TV white noise) and will continue when I open programs.

Hello. Unplug the power cable from the computer and listen on the batteries. If the audio improve, then you have a problem of material known with this model.

The problem is documented in the FAQ Audio Choppy/jump. Look in the section for model Inspiron 7720 and 5720.

  • Realtek High definition audio (onboard) do not recognize the rear speakers. statics of the right speaker.

Realtek High definition audio (onboard ASUS CG5270)-current driver v6.0.1.6043
    Operating system: Win7 64 bit

Everything was working fine until last week. I haven't had any changes and update logs don't show updates.

    Question:
Using "Manager Audio Realtek DD" in the control panel.
The rear panel does not all speakers connected. (Speakers tested and work on other systems.)
No noise at all until that I disabled the front jack detection. Now I hear threw the rear speakers but with static 1/2 volume, without mute and the "Realtek HD Audio Manager" shows still no rear speakers.

    Things I have tried:

    1. check the connections (connections of cleaning)
    2. different stakeholders.
    3. Uninstalling the drivers and software.
    4. update of drivers.
    5. Rolling back the drivers.
    6. The system restore.

Note: the "Realtek HD Audio Manager" shows the digital connection and the façade as available, but disappeared on the rear panel, even if the rear panel is only taken in use.

I can usually solve these problems on my own, and it's the first time that I used a forum to ask for help in 15 years. I'm just puzzled.

    Hi, reorder,

As you have tried almost everything to fix the problem, I would like to allows you to check if the rear speakers are disabled and the volume level is fine.  To do this, follow the steps below.

    2. Click on Control Panel and click on sound.
    3. Playback tab, click speakers and click Properties.
    4. Click the levels tab and check if the back entrance is set on mute and uncheck the box.
    5. Select the level to 100% and check if the speaker rear works fine.

Also, you can try disabling the improvements and check if it helps.

    To turn off the improvements:

    1. access control panel

    2. click on sound

    3. Select the play tab

    4. Select entry speakers/headphones

    5. click on properties

    6. Select tab improvements

If the steps above do not work, you can contact the manufacturer of the motherboard and try to reset the BIOS to default settings and check if it helps. You can also take their support and try to update the BIOS and check if it helps.

  • Satellite L750 - no sound on the speaker or headphones - static

    Hello

I have problems with the sound in my laptop for a few months. At first I thought that he would go away with updated drivers, which makes certain the alternatives system restore or changing audio device drivers high definition of Win 7, but I can't find a solution to this problem and today is getting worse. Right now, I can't have any kind of noise from the side if headphones or external speakers. Also, my sound disappears after 15-30 seconds of activity through the laptop speakers. I checked the forums and blogs on this issue, but still do not find a good solution for me.

    My model is:

    * Satellite L750-1VW *.
    * Code: PSK1WE-0U500ECE *.

I checked on other systems, headphones and external speakers. So my guess is the Jack is the problem or I don't know. Yesterday, I remember getting a download of update of windows and then, from there my sound started getting static electricity to the right of the speakers and headphones.

    * First problem *: no sound after 15-30 seconds to be active while watching videos (vlc, wma, youtube, etc.)
    * Second problem * (recent): static, crackling noise, the right side of external speakers or headphones

    Any solution to this?

I bought this laptop last year around may or April, can't remember the exact month. Thank you.

    Sorry my bad English.

In my opinion, your options are very limited and all that you have done so far is good. You can check the settings of the software, test it with the factory settings or use the PC diagnostic tool preinstalled.
Have you used this tool? He will check the sound of the waves on both speakers. If this is not the case, do.

Anyway, I don't want to speculate, but somehow I think that there is hardware problem and I think that contact you the nearest Toshiba authorized service provider and ask for help. They use special software for the material testing and can say with certainty what the problem is.
    Warranty is still valid?

  • Noise of static/rattle speaker Sony Vaio 13 Pro

    Hello

These days, I hear a crackling/static annoying noise coming out of my speakers.  It is not constant but happen randomly while listening to music or watch video on any volume (even at around 40%).  I can't hear it when I plug in the headphones so looks like a problem with the internal speakers. Could the speakers were blown and will they replaced under warranty if this is the case?  I bought the laptop in June.

    Thank you.

I figured this out. I went Vaio Control Center and changed the Audio settings for Clear Audio for music. It has been defined to Clear Audio for video. The crackling disappeared. If all goes well, he ain't.

I have an iPad 4 (MD511LL/A) running IOS 9.2.1 with static entry in the headphones in stereo mode.  When I put the device in Mono and go just on the right side, it is fine, however when I move the cursor to the left, it's terrible static.  Play through the speaker is fine.  I tried several headphones without success.  Any ideas?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Mid 2012 15 "MBP - cracking speaker right retina

A few days ago a never-before-heard strange noise fly across the country, started broadcasting from what seems to be the right speaker on my MBP 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB.  I had been using the computer for more than an hour on the flight before the noise began.  Start-up mute the speakers did not stop or impact noise.  Restarting the computer didn't help (the noise stops when the computer turns off), although finally the noise went away on the flight.  Since then, the noise returned periodically (at least once or twice a day).  I saw messages about the noise of the fan, but this does sound something like a fan.  It's almost like a static cracking noise.  Any ideas what this could be and how can I solve this problem?

    Hola amigo

One of my friends has a Satellite P200 also, but he never noticed something like that
It s no static sound or something not like this

What operating system do you use? Did something change in sound settings I hear the speaker and microphone internal.

I have Realtek Sound Manager preinstalled on my laptop. Here I can activate the option eliminate the microphone and speaker whistles.

    Maybe you should check this.

  • My 5s makes a static noise when I try to play sounds?

A few days earlier, I connected my phone to the Bluetooth speaker and used for a bit. I unplugged it properly, but my phone was not the same since.

Every once in a while, when I try to play a sound, it makes a static noise in playback of the sound. Or sometimes it makes no noise at all.

If anyone can understand what is happening?

Have you ever tried to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the call logo comes back again? You won't lose data, but it can cure a few glitches.

Implementation in the new device would be the next step after that:

  • Public static sound speakers G500s

Yesterday, I bought a G500s, and now I want to connect it with my (speaker with battery) Ion tailgater
but when I connect it with the tailgater I have a static noise, and if I want to load the tailgater (and leave only it connected to the laptop) a high pitched noise high is in the speaker. This never happened before (and still can't) with other laptops or mp3 players.
    Can someone help me?

    Hello

This maybe because the G500s have a combo Jack that supports a type of diff of 3.5 mm jack

It includes more ring Conector Combo micro support and taken listener.

You may have seen something like that, then you don't have to buy one right away, if you know someone who has this kind of separator, it might be better to first try

    Hope this helps
