Specifications for U160

I checked several times the Lenovo site to search a PDF updated on the 'IdeaPad U series tech specs' but the one on the U series page is obsolete (it does not list the specs on the U160).

http://shop.Lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/Web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:category.Det...

There no documentation on the Support area in the documentation section.  I would be very interested in the specifications for the 089455U because some of what I read on the web (pre-release information from sites of laptop) are contradictory with what I read on the Lenovo site.  I guess Lenovo card will be more accurate than what I read on the web on other sites.

LOL by chance personal systems reference has been updated, and your U160 is now in the ipbook!

  • What are the specifications for an avatar?

Does anyone know the global specifications for an avatar?

I collected some of the avatar next to various images and found that they were all 68 x 68, so my first attempt was a png 68 x 68. But that seems smaller than the other. So I tried 256 x 256, and coming out of the same size as the others. But what we should use? Page load gives only the size max 2 MB. My 256 image is only 13.8 KB, so should I go for the max which is part of 2 MB? This seems unnecessary, since it will never be seen with this resolution. It would be useful if the loading page gave a size recommended, rather than simply 'go there '.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

  • Set up a user profile specifically for the game

    Hi all

I installed Windows 7 (64-bit) and use it mainly for work (Excel, SPSS, Word). I also have many programs start automatically with Windows and run as background processes. What I want to do is create a profile user who loads only minimum programs and services required to play video games. Currently I have to manually complete the applications and services, which is a pain in the thigh. How can I configure a user profile specifically for games?

    TYIA,

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

You can create a new user profile, but you will need to put your computer in a clean boot for the new user account only State to play games and to disable applications/services that are not used frequently.

New user account will inherit all startup applications and services of the administrator account.

To create a user account , follow the steps in the link

  • What are the specifications for an inspiron 3000 11 touchscreen?

Myself and others have on a mission to find a stylus that works with this 2 in 1 and so far not had much luck.  The squishy tip pen that I got for my phone does not work.  One of these somewhat new metal stylus with the small round disc on the end works fine on my phone, but not on the inspiron with or without a screen protector.  I had an active stylus for motorola with a battery that someone suggested, it does what intermiittingly but I guess the fact that it works at all should give me some hope.  What are the specifications for the touchscreen on the 3135?  I read that a thick cover as glass can affect if the pen works or not as well as screen protection.  I found a couple of stylus that claim to have the adjustable power so they should work with coatings of glass and screen protection.  Pen digital universal Adrien, adjustable overdrive and navitech are all meant to be active stylus which have two power settings.  I asked in the faq, but nobody can say if it works on the inspiron and the manufacturer says they have not tested either.  While I hate to spend 30 dollars on something like that without knowing that it will work 100%, I ordered one of the navitech off amazon because I can go back if I want to.  I poured everything I can find on this machine, but nowhere does anyone give any details about the touch screen.  I know that this is not intended to be a stamp artist drawing or anything other than the simple ability to interact with small buttons on the screen or the digital signature casual or simple drawing hand is the main reasons I want a small pen tip.  Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy this machine, but I don't understand why material for touch screen specifications seem to be such a mystery tech dark and deep.  This is perhaps because Dell has more than one supplier... I guess it could be both one reason than others.  Even if we can talk only about basic general information is probably more than I've found so far.

Your S3 screen with a digitizer.  Your laptop screen does not work.

Essentially, a laptop a scanning screen is also called "tablet" and - for systems or more 12 "inch screen size, will sell for a minimum of about $800-900.  About lowest price will be a simple touchscreen - not a digitizer.

  • Specifications for the T500 2055 (NK145UK) or 2055 (NK13AUK)

    Hello

Very impressed with the battery wire. I hope that my question is not too specific.

I'm looking for the official specification for these models T500. It seems that they are not the latest model (part number starts "NK" instead of "NJ"), or more recent specifications, but I thought I could upgrade the memory and the hard drive later.

Is that what I should watch?

    • T500 2055 (NK145UK) - T9400 (2.53 GHz) - 2 GB - 160 GB 7 200-6 cells? -Turbo memory? No bluetooth? No camera?
    • T500 2055 (NK13AUK) - T9600 (2.8 GHz) - 4 GB - 160 GB 7 200-9 cells? -Turbo memory? Bluetooth?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks Amniarix

How do you find the product number "2055 - 45G ' of the part number of the manufacturer"NK145UK "?

    I'm still none the wiser.

You ask me to reveal my secrets?

It's simple; I just substituted for the United Kingdom with GE and happened to glance through this site. When you click on details of the TP with the correct order number, you are presented with a sheet of spec, including the MTM number which is the same for all European countries. The last two letters of the order number change; UK = UK, GE is Germany, FR = France etc etc.

    As I have said; easy

    Amniarix wrote:

With respect to the second part of my question - can you think of a reason why I shouldn't buy one of them, a little older, models? I can easily replace the hard drive.

If they adapt to your needs, why not buy one? They should be cheaper than current models.

  • Comparison of specifications for some ASUS X 58 LGA 1366 mobos

I'm so bored trying to evaluate different mobos ASUS channels confused ASUS lists the features of individual Council or their comparison screwed up, tool that I decided to take their information on the specification for each onboard and create a following ASUS mobos Excel spreadsheet: Sabertooth X 58, P6X58D, P6X58D-E, Rampage III Extreme and P6T7 WS Supercomputer.  Where possible, and where it seemed that the features on the different models are the same, I 'aligned' functions in a spreadsheet row.  It is not a complete nor necessarily "correct" comparison, but the total information is more apples to apples in the worksheet that was available via ASUS.

Like many on the forum, I am considering a processor i7 - probably NOT the hexagonal base simply due to price, 24 GB of RAM and an Evga GeForce GTX470 Superclocked graphics card (possibly by adding one more later) and also add a controller RAID Areca to 12 ports to a little later.  I'd appreciate comments/prospects, others may have seen similar built of ASUS mobos with any reflection on the specific advice by report.

For what it's worth, I'm in the middle of the construction on a new machine myself, and my selection of mobo narrowed it down to the Asus Rampage III Formula (not extreme) and the Asus Sabertooth X 58.

I also initially thought the Asus P6T6 WS Revolution and the P6X58D Premium. I eliminated the P6T7 WS Supercomputer from the beginning because of the lack of justification for the higher price tag (I don't have the SAS ports, but I did not USB 3.0). Also the number of overall SATA ports has been reduced because of the SAS on the P6T6 and P6T7 boards.

Rampage (Extreme vs formula) are differentiated by overclocking tools, the formula is adapted to my needs and at a lower cost compared to the extreme Board. In addition, the SATA ports are arranged is different between the two boards and I preferred the way the formula has been implemented.

It was very difficult to choose between Sabertooth X 58 and the Rampage III Formula because they are very similar in many ways and the Sabertooth's $100 cheaper. He went down to the expansion cards. Rampage has 3 PCIe 2.0 slots, Sabertooth has 2. Also, the layout of the expansion slot lets you sacrifice the top PCI slot if you use a big GPU as the Nice CS5 most of users will want to (the Fermi cards and Quadro). I do not plan to use the PCI slot, at least not at the moment, but I hate that the slot has been placed in a place that I can't use it on the jury Sabertooth.

Add to that the characteristics of usability on the map of the Rampage III Formula for overclocking (and the dual BIOS chips... VERY convenient if you want a separate profile of OC and a separate reference profile, or if you just want to have a backup BIOS chip on board in case you do something stupid).

I took my Rampage III Formula Board yesterday for a little over $ 290 (without shipping or tax). I'll use an i7 950 ($249) and 24 GB of RAM ($550) with an eVGA GTX 470 Superclocked GPU ($300). And I build in a Cooler Master HAF X chassis (165 dollars), because this is a case of great air-cooled with lots of useful features (like a cover that slides over the power/reset buttons, so my son does not seek to 'help Daddy'). I will say though, the case weighs more than 30 pounds right now and there is nothing in it again... and it's huge... so, if you follow my lead on the chassis, better to first measure your editing suite.

However, I run into a single problem... my new 1000w PSU will require a new UPS solution, since my current is only 1500VA (850w). Pricing of the solutions out there and I see very little in the sub $500 range. Ouch. need to use the RAID controller integrated well... and I guess that's a compromise decent price compared to the purchase of a RAID controller separated for about the same price.

And one problem creates another, I need to get an electrician here to upgrade the power to my office to support a greater power of all these things.
