I would like to know if it is possible to add some ram by myself or not.

I'm sorry, you can't add RAM for yourself, they are not accessible to the customer. They are integrated to your motherboard in the system.

No need to demolish it just to know which is compatible with your system.
You can order for some REAL HP part number, that's only necessary - COMPATIBILITY of the part I mentioned is the ONLY confirmed by HP by testing it seems.
Go through the given manual & it decide for yourself.Order other screens may or may not work, you have to treat yourself - after ordering them test - if it does not, you will be forced to consider the possibility to return it to the seller & they should have return policy in the detail of their sale.
I couldn't find this part by aliexpress.
You can try local retail stores in your area too.

4001nn spectrum HP x 360: RAM real frequency of spectrum HP x 360 4001nn

I bought a ultrabook of 4001nn spectrum HP x 360 is announced as having a frequency of 1600 MHz SDRAM. However, while they were inspecting its specifications using such programs as HWInfo x 64 and CPU - Z, I see that the SDRAM memory frequency is 800 MHz, or half the specified.
Am I missing something, or is the actual frequency of SDRAM half that announced?

What you see is correct because it's ram ddr3 (IE double data rate), so 2 x 800 MHz.

I have an unusual problem with my HP ENVY spectrum XT Ultrabook 13-2057nr.
I bought this recently used computer. The battery seems to be dead, so I replaced it with a new battery, which seems to be charge (to 93%).
However, the computer will usually not market unless the AC adapter is plugged in.
As a general rule, the laptop will not be under voltage battery (charged to 93%). It will work normally if connected to the power adapter.
From time to time, if the computer has been loading for 15 minutes or more, it will be under the battery voltage. However, if it is off, it will be only re-power-on if connected to the adapter.
If someone had a similar problem or have thoughts?

I understand that the battery does not load to 100% and has a strange behavior. To start, please try test and calibrate the battery. You should be able to know if the battery has problems.
If the battery seems to be good, you can try to improve the performance of your battery. For more information about improving the performance of the battery, please consult the following document: improve the performance of the battery (8 Windows 7, Vista).
If none of this helps, you can try purchasing a spare battery if the computer is not in the warranty. If this is the case, you should be able to get a replacement in the HP support by phone. Spectrum 13D - 3000 ultrabook: cut the light and the wlan light always on
My system just upgraded to version 10 1607 windows.
It works fine except light mute and wlan led on that both remain. The keys work, but the lights stay on, regardless whether the audio is muted or airplane mode is on. Seeing CAPS works very well. Both LEDs lit when you press f5 the keyboard backlight disabling.
The system spectrum 13D - 3000, model E5E03AV.
I guess it's an updated bios, but don't know how to fix.

Mine has 8 GB of physical RAM installed.
In this model, the RAM is not extensible by the owner.
The RAM is integrated into the system board.

I recently bought [4 January 2013 ] 15-4010nr SPECTRUM HP Touchsmart ultrabook with beats audio.
I'm very unhappy with the Crackle of the bursts of noise while playing music sudden or random.
The problem is not limited to pregnant hp integrated as it reached also on the headphones, so it is something internal for laptop.
Its really disappointing to have a subject as listening to this high end laptop.
Please let me know if there is a solution to this problem.

Bluetooth not working not spectrum hp

I am new user of hp laptop. I have a HP spectrum 13 3001el and windows 8.1; my bluetooth no longer exists! I don't see the command to activate the bluetooth settings and the network card on the bluetooth is not even in the Device Manager! I reinstalled a hundred times the drivers for the card 'intel dual band wireless AC 7260' but the bluetooth still does not work! I tried to restore the original configuration of windows, but nothing is done, bluetooth does not yet exist!

Our company has (4) spectrum XT Pro Ultrabooks. We want to replace the battery because it is not hold a charge very long.
I have trouble finding the exact reference to the battery - it is not a separate component that can be removed easily.
I understand that there is an RTC battery - but I don't think that the battery is the one that we need.
Can you please provide me with the specific part for the rechargeble battery number?

I have a HP spectrum XT TouchSmart Ultrabook 15 - 4010nr, which came with a 500 GB of 7 mm and a 32 GB SSD hard drive. I need a bigger hard drive. Can I replace the hard drive of 7 mm with a 9.5 mm HDD? I ask because the larger 7 mm HDD I can find is 1 TB. Largely, I would prefer at least a 2 TB drive. If I can use a hard drive 9.5 mm, are there disadvantages or additional parts, I need?

No Ultrabooks are able to be skinny because they use ultraslim 7 mm discs. A 9.5 might not fit into the space available.
