Spit Lightroom 4.3 when using the brush after using the red eye tool

I bought Lightroom a few days ago. I was traveling so I didn't have the time to 4.3.

The version shipped with the disk (4.1) worked like a dream. I downloaded 4.3 yesterday and I couldn't be sadder. First of all, I noticed that it cause the 'root' to use more CPU, which means that it does not use the CPU for Lightroom itself. More demand is usually and significantly slower than the original one.

Today, I used the red eyes for the first time, and I can't just brush top unless it crashes! It is simply impossible. I rebooted. Upgrade my Mac OS 10.7.5...  No use. I even uninstalled and reinstalled again. I was forced to do all my first edit in there usinf the brush, then use the tool red eyes as the last step. But any time that I commit the brush after using the red eye tool, it crashes instantly

It seems something funny on your establishment for sure that there is not a wide spread thing.

What exactly is your establishment and where are the various files located - catalogue, images, etc.

It is grouped in the same location of the tool as the healing and Patch tools, just left of the Brush tool and more the the clone stamp.

Click and hold on the icons in the Toolbox to see the hidden tools or press J, then SHIFT + J to successively display tools that are grouped with the red eye tool.

  • 6 Lightroom does not when using NIK software

    I've updated to 4 LR LR 6.

Now if I edit a few photos using NIK software, then press on save, when control is returned to Lightroom it is insensitive for a minute (sometimes longer).

And sometimes it remains simply does not. Either way its faster at the end of the task of lightroom and restart to wait so he could answer.

LR 4 I have not had ANY problems.

I have a fairly new windows 10 PC. 12 GB of RAM and a card Radeon R7 240 chart.

    Can someone help here?

    Thank you

I've also updated my graphic drivers - and this has definitely solved the problem.

  • When using windows scan & fax tool I get: _ 'network processing timed out. Check the scanner settings & network"error

I am running Vista ultimate on 64-bit computer with a Linksys WRT310n router in LAN mode. I also have a Canon MF4370dn printer that prints screen & documents ok. I can see the printer on the network.

I'm mainly interested in the function of scan here.
With the mf scanner set to scan mode of network (according to Canon), I opened the Windows scan & fax tool, I select the WIA Canon scangear printer/scanner/fax to network & I get a panel where you select dpi/jpeg/bmp etc. When I select the function preview or scan I get an error message that says "network timed out treatment. Check the settings of the scanner & network.

I read a lot of sour comments on the analysis of the network of this machine. It's a shame, because it is a machine of great, fast & compact mono laser. I have disabled the firewall of the router, still no go. I also tried the rout USB with software to reinstall with network for others, printing & for my machine but italways deferred to the network on mine with the same error message.

I also read where it analyzes only at 300 dpi... so with all these pros & cons I decided to get a good, dedicated, scan that will probably better results of the scanner anyway.

Thank you for all the good sites & info you have provided.

    Newbie.

  • Photoshop can correct the "clear eyes"?

Photoshop can correct clear eyes? No red eyes... CLAIRE! My smartphone, eyes is clear and any red-eye tool does nothing. :-(

Yes, sorry, I traveled. Here are the images:

I tried to use the red eye tool in Photoshop with these photos, but it seems that the pictures you take just are not of a sufficiently high quality for the tool work properly.

The points of light that you see on the eyes of the children are likely reflections of the flash camera or fluorescent lighting in the room. It seems that your device has attempted to correct automatically the eyes already, but failed as well.

I had some success with the Spot Healing Brush:

I used a beautiful big brush with low hardness, and had turned Content-Aware:

However, the real problem here is with the photo. If you want to avoid having to worry about problems of red-eye, try shooting with a camera or DSLR camera. This will give you a better image to work with, if you accidentally get images with red eyes.

  • How to get rid of the 'green eyes' on photos for pets?

Any suggestions to get rid of the pet equivalent of red eye?  I tried different tools in LR and impossible to find one that works?

    Thank you

You can select the cursor darken pupil to make the red eye tool more dark.  The color scheme for the adjustment brushes are only for the tone.  Exhibition use - or - as brightness to darken.

  • What are the causes of automatic red-eye fix to 8 items do not work?

Difficulty of problems I have experience using the red eye:

With a single topic, sometimes the red-eye correction will set only one eye.

When there are 2 subjects, red-eye correction will work correctly on a subject, but not on the other.

In each case, I repeated the process and I am unable to get the desired results.

I used the auto red eye fix in all locations, that it is, as in the Enhanced and when I press F11 and it's just the quick fix feature.

I can't wait to hear a simple solution.

Unfortunately, the removal of red-eye PSE is not all that reliable.   I never invoke the automatic deletion, because in the past, he had a reputation for giving bad results, fix "red eyes" who were not.  Instead, I do two things in the full Editor:

    1. I use the red-eye tool to select a small box around each eye to be fixed.  Sometimes drawing a little more or a little more small rectangles made work a little better:

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/PhotoshopElements/8.0/win/using/WSae2ea3b149d0c3591ae939f10386 0b3d59 - 7edb_WIN.html

    2. If this does not work, I use the elliptical selection tool to select an oval around the red part of the eye and then use Enhance > adjust color > Hue/Saturation setting > red, greatly reducing the Saturation and lightness, as needed.  There are other more advanced recipes, but I find this one is simple and gives satisfactory results.

Because you must call the complete Editor, none of them are also fast based on removing auto red-eye.

I assume you are using Windows Live Photo Gallery
for editing? Back to the original version of the photo...
Left click in the option "Cancel" until the unwanted
Edit is deleted or until the gray option out.

When you use the "Fix red eye"... enlarge the eye by
Zoom with. Carefully drag the box so it only
borders the red eye area. Releasing the
mouse button activates the change. In some cases, you
may need to use the tool 'fix red eye"more than once.

If you make a box larger than the red area of the eye
and if there are shades of red in the region of the face... they can
be obscured. The tool detects red in the selection box
but has no way of knowing if it's in the eyes or elsewhere.

When you drag the selection box... try doing a
perfect fit on the red part of the pupil. It's a
bit easier if you zoom in closely on the eye.
