• iMac, stuck in a split screen

  Working on an iMac with the latest version of El Capitan.

  I tried to use the split screen and can not get out. Close all applications (except Safari). The screen is divided into two (lighter side and dark side). I can't access the menu of the Apple at the top left to put it to sleep or shut down the computer. I can't open anything on my desktop, including my hard drive, although I can access what is in my dock.

  As your subject what I understand you face split screen problem when opening word document in e-mail, so it is called reading pane. You can disable it from within Word, click on start-> all programs-> Word 07-> click the Ribbon on the upper left-> select the Word Options-> Popular => uncheck «attachments open in full screen...» ».

  There is no split screen or slide on anything whatsoever on the iPad models 2, 3, or 4.

  Drag functions is only on iPad Air and later versions.

  Split screen is only on iPad Pro, 2 Air iPad & iPad Mini 4.

  I just realized that I'm only having this problem on one of my pages (index.html) in one of my sites.  All other pages of this site have no problem when switching to split view.  Of course, there is a problem of code only on this page.  Still need help.
