  OK, this is my first post and it is a bit involved. I was always able to find answers by searching online or in the documentation. Here goes.

  I'm trying to implement a character using puppet pin, I'll link to NULL values as part of a more complex setup on the road. My general approach is to implement the ankles first and see how it moves manually before creating nulls and connect the pins to the positions of NULL values. So far, so simple. To get my NULL values to the exact position of my ankles, I pickwhip the position even in the position of the PIN, see what are the coords, then delete and put in the coords manually to null. Once NULL and the pins are aligned, I just link the pins to the NULL values of an expression in the property of spindles 'position '.

  This all works very well in my simple scene consisting of a solid layer with applied puppet pins and NULL values. Null values align with the pins perfectly, and I don't have to convert the coordinates of PIN for model space or whatever it is. The coords pins seem to be in the computer space already. Then I can link the pins to my NULL values and all is well.

  However, in my complex scene that is generated from an any .psd, the PIN coords do not match the model space. They are very weak and seem to live up to the layer of that the puppet effect has been applied. If the null ends up far to the top left of the model.

  No problem. We just run toComp on the position of the axis, and we should get the model space pin coords. But I did not. I get something off path.

  Why does not the positions of pins match to the model space automatically my comp psd-based, as they did with the simple model?

  It is even possible to successfully run the toComp in the following way

  The coordinated pins just layer based coordinate as another or are there other factors involved?

  I would like to be able to set up the pins where I would like them and bind them with corresponding NULL values exactly the coordinates so that the work is not jumping when I their link.

  More generally, is there any attribute of a psd file that can affect the coordinate system of a model generated when importing. The file in question contained all the regular layers, plus a group of 3 (which came as a demo the full size of the main computer, as expected), no effect of layer or anything like that of other fish.

  Someone more experienced with the expressions and coordinated spaces in AE have an idea of what I'm missing?

  You cannot use a simple where clause until ACCOUNT_NO is unique. As the name tells you it is an operating table that I hope the transaction for an account on different dates.

  So if I need to find if and the account is INACTIVE I need to get the date of the last transaction and verify how old it from today (SYSDATE).

• Rounded corner property has no effect on every corner

  Hi, I'm doing a play button transform in a stop button. I use a polygon shape to transform. There is no problem with my animation BLAH, stop playing. However, when I reverse the keyframes to play to the stop there is a weird bug where it it is not rounded corners. Can someone help me please?

  Because you are an incredible number of 3 to 4 points, I expect some odd behavior.

  I convert a square with the corners rounded to a path and then animate the path in a triangle without delete all points. Probably the best way to do it would be to start with two layers, one with the square and the other with a triangle. Convert the squser into a path and set a keyframe.  Move down the timeline to where you want the complete transformation and changing diapers in the triangle. The triangle now convert a path and then add in many points that you must keep the number of identical vertices, then set a keyframe, and then copy it. The last step would be to select the layer with the square then the path and paste.

  Don't forget that the summits will move to another point in a straight line, so plan your additional peaks accordingly. This should solve your problem.

  These tags create a repeat in a Dreamweaver template region. There is no content between them, so that they serve no purpose. You should be able to delete them without problem.

  I have a structure of the event in a while loop and I have a chart with 2 sliders on it. the chart is in the loop outside the structure of the event and it becomes a wave form when an event occurs.

  in a separate loop, I have 2 cursors cursor position property. I subtracted to get their distance. but when I move the sliders on the chart which is in the first, while the loop doesnot change the values given by the property nodes in the second loop

  is this something related to the structure of the event? don't needs real graphic to be updated all the time or is it ok if she becomes a waveform only on an event

  The value of the variable "Stop 2"is in memory still "True" so on that a second (and resulting) running that your upper loop always ends after the first run.

  It seems that you are using either a horizontal separator or vertical on the front, is it true? Unfortunately, vertical and horizontal separators are designed to isolate the two different sections of the front panel.  Because of this, you will not be able to programmatically change what part of the façade the command is enabled while the program is running.  One option that you have is to create another control on the other side of the splitter and have this update of the control to the other side of the splitter control.  When you do not want the control that is visible, you can define it as such with a property node.

  The position property cannot move the control inside the façade as it currently exists, then you will not be able to move the control between the two sections of the front panel.

  You have to play with the limits of Windows front panel.  It can be kind of complicated, so be careful.

  In LV 8.5 I noticed that if you reset your image to the default control (using the menu drop-down), the position property of the mouse no longer works, it will always return 0.0 no matter where the mouse is in control.  You must destroy and recreate your image control to fix right here.

  Perhaps this problem has been fixed in later versions of LV but I didn't know any documentation of the present.

  When you say that the pop-up menu, I guess you want to tell the menu that is displayed if you right-click on the control.

  I just tried this in LabVIEW 8.6.1.  My position of mouse cursor reads 0.0 when the mouse is over the control and -1, -1 when the mouse is not over the control.  It is a bug.  I have filed the appropriate internal documentation (Corrective Action Request #167102), while R & D is aware of the issue.

• Position control text string bug

  Hello again all you posters useful forum!

  I have a strange bug for a control of the chain.  A sort of property has been set which causes the text it displays justified right as usual until what you press a button in the control.  Then the text jumps around 3 characters to the left.  By clicking on the right side of the new end text positions the cursor at the end of the text.  If I save the VI, the text jumps to the right.  Weirder yet, if I just hide the front panel of the VI with another window, when I discovered the text is on the right side once again.

  When I click in the text box with the mouse to position the cursor, the text does not move, but the cursor will only insert inbetween where the characters go when they jump to the left, where they are currently.  This highlighted the same behavior (see screenshot where I double-clicked in the control to highlight all of the text).

  I copy / pasted this control channel in a new VI with no logic, and it behaves in the same way.  So I guess it's a kind of property that I put at some point, but I can't understand it so I can stop doing it in the future (which is also the reason why I'm not only replace my order with another control of the chain and move - I don't want a new to get damaged in the same way).  I have attached the new VI for your reference.

  Control is updated the value that I type, and in my original VI (which I can't post, unfortunately), I have two cases of the event who get its updates of the value.  We seek a change in the value of this control, check if it is more than 12 characters and if yes what bands more than 12 characters and then it passes through the VI uppercase in and assigns the resulting string in the control.  The other looks for a value change parent of the control cluster, then takes the control reference that result and goes to a VI record KeyFocus and TextSelection property values, defines "BOLD", the blue police false KeyFocus, changes, then sets the KeyFocus and TextSelection values (in that order).   I have to take off bold KeyFocus, I discovered.

  Any suggestions as to what may be the cause of this would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  I bet that the text is right-justified.  Select the text, go to the menu drop-down font, select the option justify-> left and see what happens.

  Edit: interesting.  Out, tried changing the left justification and then right again seemed to fix it.

• change the position of several layers

  I have tried many and find many things by google, but I can't find a working solution.

  I have about 60 layers in my Composition. They're all the same position at the moment. The idea is to browse through the Articles and change the y-position with an offset value.

  What I've learned so far is that there is a layer.property("Transform").property ('Position'). First I thought that it is a table like [x, y, z], but this seems to be only one... property.

  Now I can check if my layers in the 'Position' property...... but I already knew. I found no way to set or even get all values.

  I know how to set the position when I create a new layer, but this seems to be something different.

  Is there a possibility to change the Position of a layer existing script?

  For the position or any other property in the layer, you must use the method .setValue(theNewValue).

  If the property contains keyframes, or if you want to add a keyframe, it will throw an error, however, to check if the property already has keys, in this case, you can use the method .setValueAtTime(theTime, theNewValue).

  Example:

  Layer.Property ("Transform"). Property ('position'). SetValue ([x, y, z]);

  Layer.Property("Transform") .property ("Position") .setValueAtTime (0, [x, y, z]);

• Delicate design, positioning and Organisation of objects on Master Slides quiz problems

  I just upgraded to 9 Captivate and would switch to suitable designs.  Some problems, however.

  First of all, when I try to modify the positions of certain objects on slides in quick mask mode, the Position of the object on the tab Position have right and left gray.  I, for example, like to move and position of in the MCQ response boxes would design ('Type 1 from here' etc) to the left of the slide to make room for images on the right.  For some reason, I'm not allowed to do any settings on the tab position I try (and I think I tried them all).

  Secondly, the menu item "organize" is grayed out and if I put pictures on the slide, they fall behind the objects already here and cannot be ' brought forward "."  I don't know why the new objects (i.e. images) fall behind the other objects permanently.

  This means that I can't move some existing objects as I would like and I can't put pictures above them either.

  Very clearly, I'm doing something wrong, but the research, as I might, I can't find answers, and I'm starting to think better to return to the inadmissible designs.

  Grateful for any help, anyone can give.

  Your question is not quite clear to me, but he can offer you already some explanations.

  Questionnaire slides have very strict rules. All objects incorporated, those are the objects without an individual timeline, are always on top of the stack. You can't have custom objects appears above one of the built-in objects. I found a few exceptions as described in this article:

  With respect to positioning, see what you mean: you cannot resize the boxes of individual response, nor the overall box on the master slide, but you can on the slides of individual questionnaire. Look at this slide:

  

  I started by looking at the Advanced setting: by default, it is set to align horizontally, be sure to uncheck this option.

  For answers: select the global zone that has all the answers. You can see I've changed its size and position.
