  I would like to build a navigation menu that is usually found in Flash interfaces, but since I don't know Flash, I would like to know if someone could suggest other ways to accomplish this task.

  menus - 1 level (say three elements: 1,2,3)
  -When hovering menu option 1, slide options 2 and 3 down and created space 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 submenu options will appear.
  -When plane option 1.3, slide options 2 and 3 to the low suite to make room for suboptions 1.3.1 1.3.2 1.3.3.
  
  It's a bit like a nested accordion, but with the difference that no content is presented inside the accordion, only choices of navigation.  Content should appear to the right of the vertical navigation menu.
  
  Is this possible in Dreamweaver with Spry?

  
  I guess this could be done easily with jQuery or MooTools, but I did not learn that yet. Unfortunately I'm not supergood-paid it in javascript, but I have in the past to change scripts for my preference with some guideance.

• Spry navigation menu bar

  Hello

  I have a model downloaded from a Web site, that I am editing in dreamweaver. Because menus are already created, I tried to add a spry navigation menu to one of them. Now, I placed the cursor where I need the navigation menu, I chose, insert > spry > bar menus spry now I get a message "dreamweaver does not insert a menu bar in a list.please insert it somewhere else"

  I think that the problem lies in the menu bar that is already created? are there ways I can create the navigation bar on the same menu that is already created, because it is very convinient as it is already made.please help.

  I'd say you're better to remove the old menu and replace it entirely with the new Spry Menu :-)

  I think it would be too difficult to try to integrate the two - unless you are very familiar with CSS and Spry.

• How can I move a vertical navigation bar?

  The image on the left is what I currently; While the image on the right is what I try to do in Dreamweaver. The image on the left, I'm moving the vertical navigation on top of the background image vertical bar. This could be done using CSS, but I can't understand it. Can someone give me any ideas or steps? If you go to the web page, you will see what I am doing (I hope!).

  I have read an explanation and a tutorial on this spry menu the other day from a book without practicing and decided to use your problem as an exercise. I have to say that, while seems clear read everything I felt I can easily control the appearance of a spry menu, but when I tried to do what you need, trial and error was more useful I think to understand
  In any case here is what I did and it works but I can't tell if this is the way the most optimal or best.
  To make simple things just start with a new blank document and create a spry vertical menu.
  In the SSC under the SpryMenuBarVertical.css Panel double-click on ul. MenuBarVertical to change. Go to the category of positioning and change the width and height of the size of your background image in the ems. For example 12 x 22
  Now to the bottom of the list with styles in the SSC Panel, you will see a duplicate of the same style, that one change set your background image.
  Then, according to the document, select the spry menu, so that its properties are displayed in the property inspector. There, in three columns representing the menus click on article 3, point 3.1 and 3.1.1so that you can see your changes.
  Now edit the ul. MenuBarVertical li syle. Go to the category of positioning and change the height in percentages, for example by 22%. In case you don't know, click apply to see the changes. In the location section, change the top and left in percentages so that you Center the buttons. I put 10% and 17% of the eye.
  Then edit ul. MenuBarVertical ul li. In the category positioning change to 0% in percentage the height and location on the left.

• Need help with the vertical navigation within the sidebar of centering bar

  I can't seen to find this setting determines how the orange navigation bars can be centered in the sidebar.  I've read tutorials of David and so they are useful, but I just can not find... or miss this one part.   Also, is it possible to center the web page on the screen, so it is blue on both sides. I have attached a screenshot.

  To Center a Spry vertical menu, change the value of the margin in ul. MenuBarVertical from 0 to 0 auto:

I tried to do this using the Widgets Library > Menus > Vertical, then dragged the vertical menu on the page. I know how to add sub-pages using the + box, but I want the subpage names at shOE upward in a specific way. The problem I have is, I want the secondary navigation menu to have a specific look, with "pages" of the menu running in the vertical menu format and subpages if poster in a schema extensible sub-navigation form (see image below), so that when I click on a homepage of the sub navig. menu, all the sub pages expand underwear, slightly indented (so that the hierarchy of the pages is obvious). Then, when I click on a different home page and its subpages below expand, I want the subpages of the homepage previously clicked on to disappear. I've seen websites set up in this way and I like the simplicity, the functionality and look of this type of secondary navigation, I don't know how to do. Does anyone know how this can be done? I am ready to go the "long way" If that's what it takes. Thank you.

  You can use the widget panel tabs to achieve this. (formatting to your look)

  Just add some text in each Panel and a link to the specific page.

  The only drawback is you wouldn't be able to link the main headings (Commercial... etc)

  sarahcosmetics.com is an e-commerce site, that I've developed by muse and British Colombia.

  I sectioned off sub categories form of pages which make correctly however my client recently asked me to add a submenu for navigating these pages at the top of the site.

  I currently have a link to the following pages: "Lips" 'eyes' and 'face' through hypertext links which I have incorporated into my muse projects 'page' products I was able to locate the appropriate links to my store via BC categories after setting up the shopping cart.

  It was to find work but my clients asked me to incorporate a dropdown under linking products to, 'Lips' "eyes" and "deal with" via the navigation menu.

  I thought it would be child's play I use a widget of grid of muse for the navigation menu that works very well on the other sites, however in this case, when I publish it links to these pages, it connects to my muse model pages for "Lips" 'eyes' and 'face' (who seem to have a different hyperlink) so no products are returned.

  I'm really need help to know what the difference is and how to get around this problem to properly set up the sub menu of navigation.

  So I guess you deleted the navigation sub under products menu.

  Includes pages 'Lips', 'Eyes' and 'Face' {tag_pagecontent} then they will appear under models when the site is published in British Colombia. In case you use the content of the tag, try to remove and insert content directly on the pages and then include in menu to main menu navigation link, it should work.

  If you still need help, then I suggest you to publish the site as a place to test new with all the links of the menu SUP to the title of the item in main menu of products, so that we can check on our end.

• navigation menu parallax scrolling

  I have a single page site that I am trying to integrate a navigation bar vertical Parallax scrolling style. I have the navigation bar under my photo of cover at the top of the site. However, I'm having a problem where navigation bar sometimes jumps behind the cover photo when I scroll to the top, I think that the month of may because I've not fully synchronized bar parameters opacity with one hidden behind the cover at the top of the navigation Web page photo? (I saw someone post with the exact style of the navigation, I am trying to create a Web site project). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

• Accordion widget as a navigation menu

  I want a vertical menu navigation, with some pages having the level of sub-pages.

  The vertical menu widget seems to place level sup links to the right. But I want all stacked vertically with level sup showing links only when it is on this page.

  I tried using the accordion as a navigation menu widget, by removing the content to show/hide and adding the sup level link in those necessary.

  But when I put the links to the pages active States don't seem to work when on special pages. Any ideas?

  Any suggestion is the best way to achieve this?

  When you say that active State does not seem to work, if we take the example you posted above, you want that design should be extended when you are on the page of the exhibition Design and "Scenography" must indicate the active state. Fix?

• How to restore the new tab button in the navigation menu when it is not available in the Customize?

  The new tab button disappeared from my navigation menu. None of the changes or upgrades have been made. While all subjects of support suggest going to customize the toolbar, the new tab button is gone either. There in the morning, disappeared in the evening without apparent reason. The + is at the end of the series of tabs, but not in the navigation toolbar and tab add + is NOT anywhere on a page it there is that a single label. I HIDE TAB BAR WITH ONE TAB 1.1 but have had for weeks, and the new tab button was always there. How to restore the button tab on the Navigation bar if it is not available in the choice to customize the toolbar?

• No bar menu under Ubuntu 11.10

  I did experiment with Firefox and the latest version of Ubuntu. I am unable to get the feature to import/export bookmarks and reading help files, there is no bar menu under Tools.

  For Ubuntu 11.10, import bookmarks Firefox is easy once you get used to the fact that the menu hover for each menu is different.
  1 - Open Firefox and hover over the left top bar, under bookmarks, select Show all bookmarks.
  2 - Click on the library window at the top to select, now changes menu at the top that you hover over the upper left bar again, click on import and backup and import your HTML or JSON file and voila!
