  I'm sure that some of you are aware that the Dell XPS 8700 is equipped with a reasonable 460W PSU modest, Delta which is enough to power 750 it GTX because it gives him a little leeway. However, the GTX 750 Ti is not able to run some slightly newer games to high heat. I am looking for a diet that is not only in the case of the 8700, but will not damage the motherboard! I heard that someone has tried to use a corsair PSU and proved the 6 pin 24v instead of the 12v that uses the motherboard, this has resulted in it having to buy a new motherboard I want.

  16 GB RAM DDR3

  32 GB SSHD

  I7 4790 3.6 GHz

  2 TB HARD DRIVE

  460 delta PSU

  GTX 750 Ti

  I'd be very grateful if someone with experience could help me.

  I think the two dimensions that need to be accurate are the height and width (5.9 "x 3.4") and the variable is the length.

  I have a seasonic X 650 is 5.9 "x 3.4" x 6.3 "deep and it's a fit tight, but doable." PSU OEM is subject. 25 "shorter, but I do not measure it recently and I forgot the exact size.

  The AX760 corsair is the same dimensions as the seasonic X-650 and it is reported also to adapt.

  Here are the specifications of your Compaq Presario SR1320NX desktop computer and its (salmon) K8S - THE motherboard. According to the specification, this model was presented for sale on or around 12/01/2004 and is unlikely to be fully compatible with Windows 7. At a minimum, you will need to install a Windows 7 "Aero" capable AGP 8 x video card. You may experience other problems as well. After I installed Windows 7, update complete including SP1 and all the updates/drivers that it provides.

  This is a power supply which should meet your needs.  It is 600W, but will cost less than the 500W after delivery.  Be sure to follow the instructions for the delivery of the letter.  This ensures that you don't lose.  I always suggest measuring the PSU existing and comparing measures to one you buy.

  I have a HP Compaq 8000 Elite 2010 and you must update the power to launch my new Radeon HD 6850 graphics card. After much research I found that this particular computer motherboard does not have a normal diet of 20 or 24 pins but use instead of 2 separate connections from 4 pins for power supply PWR and PWRCPU and a third cable that seems to me to be an ancient and obsolete 6-pin auxiliary power (http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#aux) for the PWRCMD supply Cable. I also found that all power is carried out through the motherboard for each piece of hardware in the computer and therefor, most likely has a limit for the maximum possible power supply. Y at - it sort of a power supply that will fit both into the slot in the power supply (which is not the standard size of power supply, but rather measures approximately 6 "x 5.75" x 3.75") and will also be able to connect to and sufficient power to the motherboard? Or am I stuck with an ugly 320W? Help, please!

  You will not be able to upgrade this power supply, model # 508154-001. It is not possible with these connectors. The most absurd part is that the material (disks) are actually powered off the coast of the motherboard. (As you said).

  I changed the 9800GT for GTS 250 1 GB GPU and I am upgrading again for a GTX 660.

  I have also excluded the tunner TV my PCI slot and no longer using HP removable HARD disc if Bay that makes a difference.

  It's like buying a car.  You pay the best features you get. Those you have posted is OK, a little low. The wattage is actually a trick few because a grade A 500w will in fact on most power cleanser in conditions normal operation than a budget model. Bonds, for example, put the better energy at higher temperatures. Any food you get these days will have the connectors you need. And in any case you can use a standard molex plug for power to the video card video cards usually have an adapter in the box. I personally like modular PSUs because that basically custom, you can do the installation and power cables that you actually need. None of the above are modular.  Modular costs a little more. The connector you want to be sure to have is the power of 6-pin pci-e. They have all taken P4 auxiliary these days. The first that you shown above has a list of connectors and I can confirm that it has everything that you will need.

  And the industry standard power supplies... ATX is a power of a specific size, and they should be inter changeable. Just to be sure, however, to measure the old and compare to the new dimensions. I've updated the power supply in this unit, and he was able to use the industry standard ATX power supply.

  Theoretically, there is no limit to what you could install. Reported desktop HP consumer does not not with supplies valued at more than 650 watts. There is absolutely no reason to replace your power supply unless you were planning on installing a graphics card high power or a large number of readers and accessories. Please consider the Corsair CX500, CX600, CX500M, CX600M. These power supplies are known to adapt to most HP consumer desktop computers and equip all but the most extreme updates.

  Well EVGA card specifications reflect a need at least a power of 300W with 22A, in my humble OPINION, a block with a range of 400-430W power SUPPLY 80 + will be a better power curve.  Suitable PSU in the range of 400W-430W.

  740 GT is not much faster that the Radeon 5570 then this isn't much of an upgrade. What do you who needs 4 GB of RAM - V?

  You can go for a VGA card exceeding not power consumption 75 w which is the limitation of PCIe slot. I also recommend the upgrade of power. If the VGA up to 75w (like nVidia GF530 or 540) I would like to go at least 300W PSU and more than 400W or more would be appropriate. Maps on 75W have connector 6 extra pins to provide a separate power to the VGA card.

• The Compaq Presario 2100 laptop SSD upgrade

  I have a laptop Compaq Presario 2100 it was brand new in 2003. I have a newer laptop, but a train trying to upgrade the Presario 2100 as much as possible. This is the kind of a project now and I also want to get as much as possible out of it. I heard that SSDS are super fast and would improve performance a bit. Anyone did the upgrade to an SSD for their Persario 2100 notebook PC series already? All entries are appreciated, in particular information about the product that was used for the upgrade. If no one did, so nobody knows if it is possible to upgrade the Presario 2100 series laptop PC to an SSD?

  Believe it or not, the maintenance manual is always available.

  The Presario 2100 uses old school PATA (EIDE) hard disks that are different from those of the SSD SATA see you more often on the market. However, there is a PATA SSD. They cost a bit more per concert, of course. I put a PATA SSD in a laptop on the same vintage as the Presario 2100 and it does significantly improve start-up time and overall performance, but talk about the proverbial earrings on a pig!
