SSD not showing fully

OK so I was all pumped when I bought my 120 GB SSD drive. So I asked some questions autour and has gotten strong responses, and is about to install.

I therefore haven't installed win 7 ul64 no problem. So im configure things and I remember, OH no, I meant that the reader must be a different letter. So I try to search the net for the answer and everything I have talks go into regedit and change something in there. I see it a few times and figure ok its not hard I can do it and continue to do.  I went then later to shut down my PC, for what I do not remember but anyway it came with a cant find z: (not exactly this, but that was the jist) Oh man, what I doing. OK ok clam down and reinstall without problem. So I start windows 7 again and find theres now a partion out there that I can't get rid of. OK not 100meg alone biggie or so. But I noticed that my drive comes only as 111 GB and no 120. So while im looking at who and try things ften im also looking for a way to change the disc it installs on c: to z: to say nothing, nada, so I figure ill load on come on the net and know what I have to do.

The reason why I changed the default letter on the drive was that I have a 1 to who has the things that I want on it and in my mind, I pulled disk c would mess it all. I don't even have to throw the other 1 TB C drive to see if it meant anything.

So basically WHAT I can do, and serioulsy an idiots guide would be good to show me, a nice step by step if someone never replies and hope that somebody, I know that windows is about 20 G more and now my drive shows 96 of 111

The player shows that 111 GB disk in different ways manufacturers and Windows define a gigabyte.

Gigabyte manufacturer disc = 1 000 000 000

Gigabyte Windows = 1024 * 1024 * 1024 = 1.073.741.824

Right-click on the drive in the computer, and then click Properties to display the size in decimal.

The 100 MB System Reserved partition is created when you perform a clean installation of Windows 7. It contains startup files.

    The first thing I did was finishing the wizard, then I created the recovery media (using external DVD drive) on three discs 4.7 GB DVD

    We have Windows 8 Pro license, so my friend formatted the system and installed new Windows 8 Pro, it seems Miss upward with the pilots decided to return to the status of the plant to find and download the appropriate device drivers.

    Even though we got the recovery ended, we have two questions:
    Major problem: SSD drive shows the only 11.22 GB capacity!
    Minor cause: a device in Device Manager does not work properly!

    There is no logical explanation for the SSD size down from 32 GB to 11FR?

    Think only entered in my mind was the ability to have the 2x16GB and the RAID (for some reason any) changed from RAID 0, RAID 1. But even if that's true, where Devil can I change to go to?

    You have probably installed Win 8 on the SSD drive and this is the reason why you have only 11 GB of free space.
    The laptop seems to be equipped with a 500 GB HARD drive and a 32 GB SSD.

    I recommend you to check the available on the SSD drive partition table.
    You can check in the Disk Management to win 8

    Control Panel-> administrative tools-> computer-> disk management management

  • Photos from D: drive not showing is not Up in Photos App

    I have 2 sites set up in my library of images.  C:\Pictures and D:\Pictures.  All the pictures I have put in the directory C:\Pictures immediately appear in the new Photos app.  However the photos on my drive D: not will appear in the same Photos app if the folder are in are included in my library of images.   I had actually just a live remote session with Microsoft Support and I was told that it is a limitation of windows 8, which will appear only images located on the C: drive in the Photos app.

    It's * really * the case?  I have a very small SSD drive that I use for installed applications.  All data such as photos, videos and documents are stored on my drive D: (terrabyte), so this means basically I can't use new applications of Photos or videos?

    Yes, the content on the drive can be moved to a folder in the picture library. Given that you do not want to be able to access an external drive using the photo app, use your comments to submit your suggestion.

    1. Open the photo app
    2. Press the Windows key + C
    3. Select settings
    4. Select your comments
    5. Select I want to suggest a way to do something better
    6. Select Next
    7. Add your comment
    8. Select submit
    Well, it is not an external drive.  The drive D:\ is an internal hard drive connected via SATA.   In windows 7, I had moved my personal files on the disk D:\Pictures.  So when the folder navigation D:\Pictures actually appear in Explorer as my images since it is the default image library folder.

    I have moved all content of D:\Pictures to D:\TestPictures and added the file TestPictures to the photo library, and now my pictures are appearing in the Photos app.  They did not immediately so I guess that they do not show up until the files have been indexed.
    So the D:\Pictures folder was not indexed (he was reported to BE indexed for several days) or windows 8 has been confused by move me my personal folders on windows 7 to a new directory and moving them to D:\TestPictures solved the problem.

    In my lab at home, I am able to do with VMware vSphere Flash Read Cache (vFRC) practical, I don't have SSD on my desk.

    In vmware workstation-11, I created a 5.5 esxi and added the local hard disk. It is an SSD not and I've marked as SSD.

    in VC the reader is now considered ssd however in VMware vSphere resource management Flash when I click on add ability he is unable to see the SSD (not marked as ssd).

    Any suggestions on how to turn it on.

    As far as I KNOW, the SSDS should be visible as "local". You can run the command.esxcli storage core device list -d   and check if the device is showing as local ssd

    I see that you don't see the option to display the lyrics of some songs. The most common reason for this is that the song you're listening to has no lyrics available to see. You can try to download a new song or two and see if the lyrics are available for those.

  • Email attachments do not show in the mail 9.3.5 iOS app

    On my iPhone 6 (9.3.5) the mail app does not show the attachments. The paper clip icon is there, but when I opened the mail there is only white space instead of the icon that can be clicked to display the attachment.

    On my iPad Air (9.3.2) the exact same emails in the same e-mail account work very well. Obviously, this is a reference to an iOS problem after 9.3.2. I deleted the email account, set up again - but the problem remains the same.

    The advice that I could do to solve the problem?

    Solved myself. First remove the account, soft reset the phone, set up the new account. Attachments show once again...

    9.3.3 isn't the latest version of the software for your phone or your Apple TV.

    Try the following steps for the Apple TV 4, check if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.

    1. Restart the Apple TV (settings > system > restart).
    2. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
    3. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)

    Going slowly insane - last week - animated images, random images on websites and clicking on a google ad is not display or work (any announcement of google ad Word takes me to a white screen with a gif of 1 px in the middle).     Have you checked the security such as firewall or antivirus software? If any of these installed a toolbar in the browser could be blocking things.

I can add xls or xlsx file and it will open properly with Excel.
