Stage Builder memory requirements

Hello

I am trying to run the generator of scene on a XP machine with 2 GB of RAM. When I run the program I get an error "could not create the JAVA virtual machine.

If you are looking for this mistake point especially to Eclipse solutions where the parameters - Xxx can be reduced to use less memory. I can't find anything similar for the constructor of the scene.

If I start Windows in safe mode, the grave programs base load of ~ 600MB to 50MB and stage Builder starts and it seems that use 90 MB of RAM.

It seems that if I can get the program to ask less of RAM it will run. Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can do this?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Problem solved.

In the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\com\oracle\javafx\scenebuilder\/J/V/M/User/Options

The key - / Xmx was set at 999 m. I changed it to 512 m and scene generator runs.

Hope this helps someone else.

    Hi all!

    Just bought the new Flash CS5 and was eager to start my first paper. I opened a new document registered on start and then configure my basic page with only an imported graphic. Click on save and received an error message: could not load stage in memory. Your document may be damaged. When I closed and reopened the document this same error appears twice in my menu "output".

    I noticed people with many of the simular issues and don't know where to start find an answer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    It's just import a graphic into your file and save the file? Since you have not done much with the file, I just would say about this one, delete it and start over. But, is - this happen every time? Try different things before you save the file, as instead of importing a graphic, draw shapes of basic with the drawing tools, and save the file.

    If the problem persists, rather strange, it's either a problem installing, or your computer may not be responding the minimum requirements to run Flash.

    General requirements

    • OS X 10.6.8 or later version

    • 8.8 GB of available storage

    For best performance, I would say not less 4 GB and preferably 8 GB or more.

    As we know hibernation will requires c: space of more than 75% of the size of RAM. (for example drive C must have free space of more than 12 G Hibernate when a machine with 16G of RAM)

    But the amount of free memory requires that hibernation? The failure of the Hibernate once met. But I don't check the State of the memory at the time.

  • I do not have the minimum memory required, I'll be able to run the SDK?

    Specifically, I only have 2 GB of memory, half of the 4 GB memory required. I'll be able to run the SDK? I anticipate performance issues, but it will hinder me to the point of unusable?

    It would be like any piece of software.  It is unlikely that the SDK will actually check the physical memory, simply use a lot and they recommend 4 GB or whatever.  My IDE runs a view C++ uses 500 MB.  But if you have a browser open (450 MB), you may have a lot of permutation (the hard disk used as extra memory).   The performance will depend on the speed of your hard drive and then (SSD or 7200/5400) when all apps/os reaches the limit of 2 GB system and thrash.

  • ASA5585-S20-K9 from 8.2 to 8.4 upgrade memory required?

    Have an ASA5585-S20-K9 and I need to get from 8.2 to 8.4.  Currently has 4 GB of memory, but it needs to be improved to a minimum of 8GB.   I searched high and low for a kit to upgrade for the 5585 but do not come with anything.  Found for the 5540 and below, but there must be something special about the 5585 s I can't find anything.

    If anyone has an idea on what I need to get to level set memory, it would be appreciated.

    Chris

    Hello Chris,

    According to usually at the documentation below, we can see that ASA 5585 comes with 12 GB of memory. Please see the 5585-s20 ASA data sheet below.

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/ASA-5500-serie...

    Firstly, please note if you are running 8.2.x code on your ASA5585-s20. It seems that ASA 5585 SSP-20 will watch 4 GB of RAM which is expected for the 8.2 software with no support for 64-bit (so it cannot process more than 4 GB of RAM in the application of the ASA). If you switch to 8.4 example software, which supports 64-bit, all of the 12 GB of RAM will be used.

    Release notes for 8.4;

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/security/ASA/asa84/release/notes/as...

    The memory required for the upgrade:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/ASA-5500-serie...

    Also on the way to upgrade from 8.2 to 8.4.

    Things to remember: -.

    Upgrade from 8.2 to 8.4 ASA, is NOT a minor update. There are a few things that are need to keep in mind:
    1. NAT statements are completely different.
    2. the IP addresses used in ACL are real IP (not translated)
    3. it is recommended that you take the time to stop for this upgrade.

    Things to do before the update: -.
    > Disable NAT control over the two ASA.
    > Check the memory required for the upgrade.
    > Take configure Backup.
    > Follow the upgrade path as mentioned below.

    Things to do after the update: -.
    > after reclassification of 8.2.x to 8.4.7, you must check the start config error.
    > present the startup-config errors, it will show that NAT and ACLs statement has not been
    migrated, so we can manually configure these instruction.
    > arp permit-nonconnected.
    > Of 8.4.7 9.1.4 or 9.1.5, you can migrate directly.

    Hope this information helps you.

  • Why stage Builder creates constantly new instances of nodes?

    Hello

    I thought I had a simple idea to create a control that would allow me to recover a part of the behavior of a component of the map.  It's all of the control:

    import javafx.beans.property.BooleanProperty;
    import javafx.beans.property.SimpleBooleanProperty;
    import javafx.beans.value.ChangeListener;
    import javafx.beans.value.ObservableValue;
    import javafx.scene.Node;
    import javafx.scene.Parent;
    import javafx.scene.layout.StackPane;

    public class Card extends StackPane {
        private final BooleanProperty active = new SimpleBooleanProperty();
        public final BooleanProperty activeProperty() {return active;}
        public final boolean isActive() {return active.get();}
        public final void setActive(boolean active) {this.active.set(active);}

        {
            visibleProperty().bind(active);
            managedProperty().bind(active);

            active.addListener(new ChangeListener<Boolean>() {
                @Override
                public void changed(ObservableValue<? extends Boolean> observable,
                                    Boolean old,
                                    Boolean active) {
                    System.out.println(toString() + " active changed to: " + active);
                    if(active) {
                        Parent parent = getParent();
                        if(parent != null) {
                            System.out.println("Parent is: " + parent.toString());
                            parent.getChildrenUnmodifiable().forEach(Card.this::deactivateIfCard);
                        }
                        else {
                            System.out.println("Parent is null.");
                        }
                    }
                }
            });
        }

        private void deactivateIfCard(Node node) {
            if(node != this && node instanceof Card) {
                Card card = (Card) node;
                card.setActive(false);
            }
        }
    }

    The idea is simple enough; expand StackPane, add an active property, bind the visible and managed component properties to the property active, and, whenever the active property is changed to true, browse the sibling nodes by disabling brothers and sisters who are also the type of card.

    However, this does not work with the generator from the scene.  While trying to debug, I created an ExtStackPane:

    import javafx.collections.ListChangeListener;
    import javafx.scene.Node;
    import javafx.scene.layout.StackPane;

    public class ExtStackPane extends StackPane {
        {
            getChildren().addListener((ListChangeListener<Node>) c -> {
                System.out.println("ExtStackPane children change: " + c.toString());
            });
        }
    }

    It doesn't save that list change events.  However, I was very surprised by the exit when you work in the generator from the scene.  I added both controls the generator onstage and did the following:

    0) added an ExtStackPane

    (1) added a map to the ExtStackPane

    2) added another card at the ExtStackPane

    (3) adds a label the first card

    (4) added a label to the second card

    5) changed the text of the first label Hello

    6) changed the text of the label of second in the world

    (7) set the first card to active

    (8) the value of the second card active

    I get the following result:

    1)
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@5b9067b3] added at 0 }

    2)
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@6b6328bd] added at 0 }

    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@60ffed67] added at 0 }
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@64955a14] added at 1 }

    5)
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@5dc96bc4] added at 0 }
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@40667c26] added at 1 }

    6)
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@164770fa] added at 0 }

    This is what things look like in the generator from the scene:

    card-panes.PNG

    The scene generator recreate the entire hierarchy whenever I make a small change?  Here's an app that does the same thing as the manual steps that I performed in the stage Builder:

    import javafx.application.Application;
    import javafx.scene.Scene;
    import javafx.scene.control.Label;
    import javafx.stage.Stage;

    public class CardApplication extends Application {
        @Override
        public void start(Stage primaryStage) throws Exception {
            ExtStackPane stackPane = new ExtStackPane();

            // 1
            Card card1 = new Card();
            stackPane.getChildren().add(card1);

            // 2
            Card card2 = new Card();
            stackPane.getChildren().add(card2);

            // 3
            Label label1 = new Label();
            card1.getChildren().add(label1);

            // 4
            Label label2 = new Label();
            card2.getChildren().add(label2);

            // 5
            label1.setText("Hello");

            // 6
            label2.setText("World");

            primaryStage.setScene(new Scene(stackPane));
            primaryStage.setTitle("Card Application");
            primaryStage.setWidth(600);
            primaryStage.setHeight(400);
            primaryStage.show();

            // 7
            card1.setActive(true);

            // 8
            card2.setActive(true);
        }
    }

    The output when executing the above is:

    1)
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@6dfaa767] added at 0 }

    2)
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@6aa2c411] added at 1 }

    7)
    Card$1@1abf7511 active changed to: true
    Parent is: ExtStackPane@41993867[styleClass=root]

    8)
    Card$1@5733cd2 active changed to: true
    Parent is: ExtStackPane@41993867[styleClass=root]
    Card$1@1abf7511 active changed to: false

    The behavior is obviously very different than when I work with control in the generator from the scene.  Can someone explain to me that event giving rise to the stage to change the behavior of my map control so much?  My map control breaks some I'm not aware of one or more rules?

    I think you're confused about what makes SceneBuilder.

    SceneBuilder is a design tool, used by the programmer (not the end user) to generate the part of the code that is used to run the application. (Specifically, it generates the FXML code which is analysed by the FXMLLoader to create and configure objects that are usually part of the graphic scene.)

    When you use SceneBuilder to create the code, it generates a model of what the user interface will look like, if the generated FXML should be loaded and displayed. This model is not meant to be an identical vision of what will be the end user, but a help to you, the programmer, to generate the code that you want to.

    So, for example your accordion/TitledPane in the layout of the poster than SceneBuilder, the * selected * titled pane is always expanded. This allows you to drag and drop objects inside and set it up in other ways. If you clear the checkbox "extended" in the properties pane, then it remains extended in the model so that you can continue to configure it. However, this property is not ignored: the State of these boxes is respected in the FXML file that is generated. So when you click on 'save' in SceneBuilder, the fxml generated will contain TitledPane extended element = "true" If the box is checked and expanded = "false" If the check box is cleared. (SceneBuilder will of course also applied the rule that only TitledPane in the accordion can be increased.)

    Similarly, for your control customized, you should be able to implement and SceneBuilder displays the 'active' property in the box. If you disable this property, if active = false, which will be respected in the fxml and when you run the active application will be set to false and so by your liaison, visible is set to false and the component is not displayed. But the comp in (of course) SceneBuilder always displays your component, because it would be extremely difficult for you to configure a component that did not appear in the programming tool.

    In fact, there is no real reason for SceneBuilder create all the objects that you set up at all. He could just trying to figure out what they look like and render a representation of them on a canvas, for example. It's probably much (much) harder than instantiating them and the authors of SceneBuilder apparently chose to write SceneBuilder in a way that re-instantiates the controls several times. But this has absolutely nothing to do with what happens when you run the application and it is no logic at all to compare the two.

  • ImageView image created in stage Builder 2.0 does not appear in the running application

I select the ImageView in stage Builder can analyze the file system in the package of the project folder and select the PNG for the Image.  Rated image in the Imageview in the generator from the scene in design mode and preview mode.

    While everything appears correctly when the application is run, the image assigned to the ImageView is not displayed.

    From the FXML file:

    < ImageView fx:id = "ivBRULogo" fitHeight = "64.0" fitWidth "64.0" layoutX = '14.0' = on = "14.0" pickOnBounds = "true" preserveRatio = "true" AnchorPane.leftAnchor = "14.0" AnchorPane.topAnchor ="14.0" > "

    "< image url="@BRU_PE_B_64.png "/ >

    < / image >

    Does anyone have an idea of what might happen between the compiled application and what scene Builder generates?

    Thank you

    Tim

    I recreated the project in Netbeans and copied the Mac files in the src folder.  I opened the FXML in stage Builder and everything looked good.

    Then I built the copied files and voila! The app seems correct with all images and colors of text (another oddity) on Windows 7.

    There must be something weird happening between the stage Builder and Netbeans in Windows 7.

  • JetDirect MIO card JetDirect J2556: memory required for?

    I want a JetDirect MIO card for an old LaserJet 4 Plus. I was watching a JetDirect J2556. However, I have read that the printer needs 16 MB of memory for the card to operate. Is this true? I read on one website. The site sells memory and maps MIO. I tried to find a PDF or a manual or something HP which specifies the requirements for the card but I had no luck it is.

    Devices have usually minimum 16 MB of memory when the functions of duplex and network available and no less than 8 MB for devices with function.

    I think that alghough the Jetdirect card may have installed/configured for use with less than 16 MB of memory, but you may experience performance problems if memory is low.

    How much memory is required?

    Hi Welewis123,

    It depends on what you install. For most of the Adobe programs required hard drive storage is minimal and pretty much any computer that meets the system requirements for CC2015 will be adapted. If you want more details, the size of the installed media is listed on this page: Adobe CC 2015 Direct Download Links: Creative Cloud 2015 Release | ProDesignTools. I wish I could give you a number fast and strong, but I hope that gives you an idea.
