Startup Repair runs whenever I turn on my laptop. Why?

About 2 weeks ago my laptop froze on the loading/splash screen. Then I turned off and rebooted but when I turned it on again a screen popped up and said that my pc could not start and he started the Startup Repair. He said it could be caused by a hardware installation or software recently but I havnt installed anything new. He tried it to restart the pc to an earlier point in time when I was working properly. This succeeded and everything was fine, but now whenever I start my computer it must go through the Startup Repair tool and return to a previous point in time and I'm afraid that my pc is dead. What should I do?

I have HP DV6 - 2130ca. I recently had a bug that were not work my quick commands. A support forum, I got to know that if I take my batteries for laptops and power and press the power for 30 seconds he'll fix it. Well, he got the problem solved but since then I am having a problem.

Whenever I turn on my laptop, time is the same as when I stopped him. For example, if I 'Shut Down' or 'Sleep' at 2: 00 and turn it on, to 17:00, the time would still be 14:00 on laptop.  I tried Googling and found a lot of answers slightly different questions on several support forums by using the Task Scheduler to schedule a task to update time only every 5 min etc, but that did not work.

If I update manually time using time settings Internet, set time until I turned off my laptop or put it to sleep.

    Help, please. Thank you.

As the system restore does not work, try this:

As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the link provided and make a bootdisk of it.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

It's a very good Vista repair disc.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

There is not a disk of resettlement.

And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

A few weeks ago, I used the Toshiba restore disk to fix my laptop to its original state. However, I have now faced a similar problem. I have shut down prematurely on startup 'Starting Windows' screen, which then caused the Startup Repair to launch when I rebooted my laptop a few hours later.
