  Please make sure you have a backup of your photo album compilation. Not because of the Windows 8.1 upgrade, but for lack of material, viruses, etc.

• Go to the Page in this Document

  Where Adobe put the command "Go to Page in this Document" in Acrobat 9. We seek to make the jump from Acrobat 6.0.2 and start building all this 9.

  Our presentations have a list of numbers of the screen down to various pages and Acrobat 6 place us a button on each page number with no outline and use the 'go to Page in this Document"from the action of the button's properties tab. It's a quick and easy way to build a large number of buttons that can be duplicated in the document.

  My research of this forum do not have me given all the answers, if anyone can tell me where they moved this command in Acrobat 9, which could be useful.

  You can do this in two ways. Create a button and set the action to "go to a page view". Then, you will need to go to the exact location and press 'Add link '.

  It's good if you want to bind to a certain point in a page. If you just want to post a link to a page a better option is to define a JavaScript action and then enter the following code:

  this.pageNum = 0;

  It will go to the first page of the document. Replace 0 with the page number that you want to link to, minus 1.

• Tree of the page of this document contains an invalid node

  We have some PDF files that our users add pages and bookmarks for from time to time.

  In one of them, once we go to the bookmark n61 I get the message error "tree page of this document contains an invalid node.  I have this same message for each bookmark after n ° 61

  I can remove the bookmarks, but still cannot access the pages.  If I try to navigate by paging down through the PDF only a small thumbnail of the pages screens.

  When I try to delete the pages concerned, I get the error message, "Dict object EXPECTED."

  I tried to extract only the pages above where to start the «problem» bookmarks  Unfortunately, I get the error 'tree page of this document contains an invalid node' when I try to do.

  Any ideas how I can fix this problem?  I appreciate any help or ideas about this.

  The document is damaged. If you cannot back up the document from its original sources, and there is no version of the file from a backup, then you can try printing to the virtual printer of Acrobat pdf file to create a new version of the file. This is not the same quality as the original, but it might be acceptable.

• "The installation of this application may be corrupted", LV 2012

  I ask to help with the problem that I struggle with for a few days. I had to reinstall my 2012 LabVIEW (32 bit) and now, when I try to open it, I get an error "this application installation may be damaged. Use Add / Remove programs in Control Panel to try to repair the program. "I tried to fix LabVIEW and re - install again, but nothing works. I tried with two different managers (old and new site of NOR) and I have installed the patch f1, f3 and f5 too. I have Windows 7.

  Someone has an idea of what I could do with it?

  Sometimes the Add Remove Programs tool would not completely remove LabVIEW.  There is a tool called MaxBlast that will help with that.  I downloaded on this post awhile back: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/LabVIEW-8-6-1-crashes-with-VIs-built-in-LabVIEW-7-1-1/m-p/960472/hig...

  Make sure that you restart your computer at least once after removal of all the stuff of NOR, before you reinstall it.

  It may also be worth checking your LV 2012 files if media your always get corrupted installs.

• Error message: Winlogon.Exe could not locate the item. This Application did not start because Comctl32.Dll was not found.

  Update of security hung up during installation. I waited 12 hours for the update complete and nothing happened. Whe I reboot XP P4 syster, I get the Message from messageError: Winlogon.Exe could not locate component. This Application did not start because Comctl32.Dll was not found.

  Re-installed SP3... Installed hard drive then... cloned old drive and new drive... After several updates, it seems to do very well. Tried several programs/operations and seems normal. One day turned but didn't have to build another system or this one back up.  Thanks for the idea.     F
