Stationary HTML scripted in windows live mail?

Is it possible to get scripted stationery (eml) to work in windows live mail? I'm so disappointed after upgrading Vista to Windows 7 I can't use hundreds of print devices that I used regularly before. I assumed that pay for an upgrade would give me more abilities do not limit what I can do in my email. Y at - it a fix for this? Is an email program that I can download that works like Outlook Express or Windows Mail? If this is not the case, can I go back to windows Vista without losing all my files, etc. Thank you.

  • How to compose messages in HTML format in Windows Live Mail?

I'm still trying to get used to Windows Live Mail, after having upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7, 64-bniy Home Premium edition on my new PC.

I would like to know how to compose messages in HTML format. Googlimg the question, it seems that I have to go to tools > Options, but when I clcik on the tools of the Home tab, I see no button 'Options '.

    Where should I look, please?

When you click "Send Message" (or

), in the middle of the Ribbon 'Message', you should see an icon to switch to plain text (in HTML) and in HTML format in the case of plain.

    If you want to permanently,

, in the tab 'Read', "Read all messages in plain text" and then click on the 'Send' tab, click the format desired under "email Format".

And WLMail 2010 must be held available for XP users who are no longer supported by the new version.

ITYM WLMail 2009. The 2010 version was a short-lived beta never lost on the general public. The last and the last WLMail for XP users is v. 2009 build 14.0.8117.0416, which will also be broadcast on Vista and W7 and that supports natively stationery.

  • Insert a table into an HTML email - using WIndows Live Mail

I use Windows Live Mail to my email software.

I just want to insert a table into my messages sometimes, but I don't see an obvious way to do it.

I certainly think that its possible, I don't really see it.

    Your response is appreciated

    Bob

    Windows 7 64

You used to be able to do this with OE with Insert. Text file and then designate a htm and then file it will get inserted.  So, if you save the table as a htm file, you might be able to do.  You can also try to copy (of a Web page) and then paste it into the e-mail.

I'm not an expert on WLM, so if this does not help, ask in the forum here that is specific to Windows Live Mail: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/email they also severely diminished the capacity of WLM, so you may not be able to achieve.

  • Windows live mail - HTML

I know how to display the HTML source (Ctrl-F2) - how can I change the HTML code to make changes in the email?

    1. Why do you want to change the content of an email? Just send an email again!

    2. you can try ' Save as ' and save the e-mail altered in your computer (maybe)
    3. What is the platform that you want to modify the script to an email? Is - this internet browser or what?
    4. you can try 'Download' the content of the e-mail, modify the script in your computer and re - send.
    Good luck

Thanks for the reply - there are a lot of things I want to do via HTML that is not provided by Windows Live Mail for me.  I don't like that I lost the flexibility that Windows Mail gave me in the past.

I found the solution to my problem:
    1. using Ctrl-F2 I can bring up the email in Note ++ and make changes and additions, I want.
    2. then save this change on my DESKTOP as an HTML element
    3. then, when I open this file, it comes with the changes I made.
    4. Finally, I just Ctrl - A and paste it into the body of a new email.
Four steps to do what I could do in one step with Windows Mail - go figure!

There may be something there, but I don't know any personally. If you have professional, enterprise or ultimate edition, you can use OE in XP mode.

  • Windows Live Mail 2010 fixed background image missing (not even the Red Cross)

Hi, my client runs Windows Live Mail on Vista. I was about to set up remote a stationary to his e-mail account. When she opens the new window message, stationary is visible with images. The problem appears when she sends an email - no visible images, without attachments, no red cross. When I look in the source code for mail

has no background style, located on the stationary file. I checked all (I assume) possibilities: HTML settings include image - checked, the security settings - very well. All solutions on the web seems to refer to the Red Cross - at the opposite image. I can't find any similar to mine. SA is also difficult because there is hundreds kilometers between me and his computer. Thanks in advance or any help.

Here's the part of my code:

  • How to send creative emails from Windows live mail to windows 98 2000 XP have received written and created.

I create an artistic email in windows live mail and is not received, as I wrote with backgrounds and colors or sometimes even the script, by older versions of windows, IE:-2000 - XP, it happens always modified capacity versions to which it is sent, how is it overcome? Should it be sent in another format as an attachment, a message in a message, so that put and how do you do that?

    Sincerely Graham J mobbs

Windows Live Mail does not allow scripts and other aspects of dynamic HTML.  If you have a message from OE or Windows Mail (Vista) that has these capabilities so you can send this message as a file as an attachment in a message eml and which will then open in OE or WinMail on the recipient machine.  Or you can rename it to eml to mht and who will then open in Internet Explorer on the recipient end.  But impossible to use WLM to compose such a message, as these features were eliminated in it.

There are other options to overcome these limitations in Windows Live Mail, so that users can continue to be creative in their e-mail.  Seewww.oehelp.com/OEnWin7.aspx for some of them.
