I'm writing an audio stream of our Windows Media Server application. Several questions to begin:

1. what I have to put in place a flow buffer as in the link: http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/1089414/How_To...

2. I tried to use

_player = javax.microedition.media.Manager.createPlayer ("http://windows_media_server_ip/test_publishing_point/sample.mp3");

_player. Start();

but received error as "javax.microedition.media.MediaException: unsupported content - audio/x-ms-wax type. Why the mp3 is mapped to "audio/x-ms-wax?

3. How about live streaming? Can I use the syntax as in 2 audio stream live?

1 - the main advantage of using the stream buffer as in the example, is that you get to save the file locally to achieve. If you play in the future, it can be played from a local file.

2. it should work fine. Make sure that the server returns the right mime type.

I remember using something like that and it worked fine. The only difference I've had (which is not serious) is to separate the beginning:

_player = Manager.createPlayer (uri);
_player. Realize();
_player.prefetch ();

_player. Start();

I needed to do things after the prefetch.

3. it depends on the performance of the network. If you are on a 3g, it works perfectly. On the EDGE (2g), it can be slow.

    By "Airplays" what are you actually refers to... Base station airPort Express, Apple TV, or something else?

    When steaming audio with AirPlay, the flow goes first to the device host to iTunes to the router Wi - Fi, this unit is connected to. From there, he will travel to the AirPlay "speaker".     I have good and bad news. The good is that the problem seems to have disappeared. The bad news, I don't know exactly which program was causing it. For anyone else following this thread, I'll explain. Disabling the antivirus did nothing, same problem. When I went the msconfig, I choose the road shorter and verified "base load devices and services only. After the reboot, I could open the organizer but not the Publisher. I got an error code saying that the license for the product has stopped working. I changed back to normal startup and restarted. This time the problem took more time to start but lasted only 30 seconds or so, then stopped. I might have stopped there, but I wanted to see if I could figure out what program was the cause of the problem. My rig is customized with the limited startup items. I had only 10... printer, steam, audio, adobe etc. I've disabled 6 (keeping microsoft at startup programs) and restarted. When I opened PS8 there is NO blinking cursor. I enabled all startup programs once again, in the hopes of having the problem if I could choose systematically each, to try to ID the program causing the problem. No luck. With all the same initial startup programs from, the problem did not wash.

    The bottom line is one of the six, and I don't know which unless it happens again. If so, I know where to begin the search. I would never have guessed he was one of the programs to start Thank YOU for hanging there in it and give me advice. What should occur is by turning off and then on some program was causing the flashing, the culprit must have fixed itself.

  • iPhone 6s loses the audio internal unit.

    My iPhone all nine 6s will lose audio intermittently over the earphone speaker.  This should not have anything to do with the vibrator on/off switch.  I checked my volume and it's ok.  I don't have it never broke and I don't keep close by when I'm in the shower (steam and others).

    I'm good with good deal with my phone.  I had my 5S for 3 years with no problems.  It is definitely a software problem, because it comes at the time when I power cycle the phone.  If it was a one time thing so I would not be upset, but it happened a few times and I just bought my phone 2 months ago.

    There is a problem with my HP steam 7 Tablet where I can not activate power saving mode for some reason any.  I click the power button, but the battery will be out in a few hours I don't have to manually close the tablet which is validator.  Is there a way to fix this?  Thank you.

    We had a good thread about this size, everything is there, but I can't seem to find, so I'll give you the short version. 2 things are known to prevent the cpu from sleep and empty the dough when the Tablet is in mode 'sleep'.

    One is the audio driver, the solution is to keep the volume to ZERO (this is equivalent to cut).

    the second is bluetooth/wifi (there is a process explorer which is stuck on), the work around is to turn on airplane mode when you are not using the tablet.

    So I have an Asus PC with Windows 7 Ultimate edition. I was voice Skyping/steam chat a couple of friends while playing various video games.

    One day my Mike decided to stop working. I have a SA-708 double 3.5 mm jack SADES headphones I've had for a while. I thought that it would be my microphone that broke so I bought a 3.5 mm adapter USB plug. This adapter card said he needed no driver and a plug-and-play. I t he can fix my problem easily enough. Instead, it has not. I tried all helps out them, all the microphone check, properties, you name it. What seems to be the problem, it's at levels micro will not stay up. IF you present, it works for about 10 seconds, then shuts down again. Maybe it's just my headphones, but before you buy another helmet for $50, I would like to see if it's computer Mr. If anyone knows how to get the levels to remain UNMUTED and can solve my problem, please help me.

    When your device is connected and it is not the audio by default, Windows 7 automatically disables the device. In addition, when your unit is loose, it will tend to not work properly. We invite you to change the audio settings you are using by default. Please follow the steps below on how to change it:

    1. Right click on the notification area, The icon/Volume of the speaker .
    2. Click playback devices
    3. Click on the name of your device, and then click set default .
    4. Click apply, then OK

    In the meantime, your selected device will be the audio by default.

    I recently bought a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook and, so far, have had no problems. I use Steam chat to speak to my friends while playing PC games. My cat of steam in my Turtle Beach headphones without problem, however, his game will play only through my speakers. I guess the problem is that my helmet is not defined as audio device by default. When I tried to put my headset as default device, I was unable to do so. I was wondering if anyone knew a solution to this problem or could offer any assistance whatsoever.

    In the last days of my audio was cut all at stake. It works fine for the last 2-3 years I had my gaming pc. No problem what so ever. Until recently all of a sudden the sound started cutting. The volume window would freeze and I can access is no longer. The task manager would also freeze when I try to launch it from the taskbar. CTRL + Alt + Del would not respond and neither would the Ctrl + Alt + Delete. PC freezes completely and would have reset. Sometimes, either from a difficult start or reset, pc would not boot the screen until what I hit the reset button. Here are the steps that I had done in the past few days. The list is not in order, but I assure you, I did all and repeated more than once, had a few.

    -UN/re-installed EVGA GTX 570HD 2.5/1.2gb card and rotated in PCIe slots to eliminate bad possible housing
    -UN/re-installed geForce Drivers 320.49 and rolled to 314.22
    -UN/re-installed creative Sound Blaster Fatal1ty X - Fi Titanium PCIe Sound Card
    -UN/re-installed Drivers creative Software
    -Alternative UN/re-installed PAX Sound Blaster Fatal1ty X - Fi Titanium Software
    -inbetween each installation ran CCleaner to ensure a shaved someone and install the drivers.
    -ran with the CenturyLinks F-Secure Antivirus software system analysis
    -a ran Windows Defender
    The speakers that I use are the Logitech Z-5500 5.1 surround sound.
     
    Everything seemed to work even using media player to listen to music until I start the game on Steam / Call of Duty: Black Ops2 multiplayer and his then will be stop. I must then restart/reset/reboot everything computer to get the sound working again. The Task Manager is not accessible when his fate, or the SndVol control would work from the taskbar. PC would completely freeze when I try to access it.

SO I searched all over the internet for solutions, and none of them work. In Device Manager, I saw that I have definition NVIDIA high definition Audio AND the Realtek High Audio. I tried to find out if we had need of updates and nope. I have a Windows 7 so if you can help me with this that would be great. My microphone is not broken, because I pluged in my ipod and did a test it works (I have a high quality microphone and you can tell the difference between my microphone and the generation ipod touch CMI). Please help me with this!

I don't know if it of a big or not, but I can confirm that this only occurs when you run steam on the desktop. Once steam is closed completely audio remains the same, whether in the application or the desktop. Is it possible to fix this? Should this even be possible from a 3rd party app?

    I'm having this problem with steam, causing the volume of the music of the Xbox to decrease. I tried all the fixes in this thread, but the only thing that works is the closure of steam. Any ideas?
