• Got call from abroad voice asking me to allow access to my computer. Call from Microsoft said? Is this a scam going around?

  received a call from foreign voice asking me to let him access my computer, said that it was for my call from Microsoft. Wanted to help me with my problem.

  First I called Microsoft and don't think that they work this way. Also, this same thing happens to my friend here in Idaho a couple of weeks. Is this a scam going around and if it is why didn't Microsoft addressed the issue in a public way?

• How can I send an email from abroad in Belgium?

  I know this sounds like a stupid question but I am puzzled & in the hope that perhaps there is something more necessary that simply entering it personal email from someone.
  I have a family member in Belgium who is on his deathbed, and his lawyer called me to ask I send an email from my computer in order to fax or scan paperwork.
  
  
  He gave me the following email & I called back 3 times to make sure that I understand, because he came back as "undeliverable".
  
  
  * E-mail address is removed from the privacy *  (no limit) I tried with www. & even different computers & browsers. I am 100% positive, I got his e-mail correctly, but for some reason, I can't send from my office here in California.
  My email has not changed in 12 years: * address email is removed from the privacy *.
  Does anyone have any idea who need to use a special protocol for California in the Belgium?

  The delivery status Notification (DSN) that you receive will tell you why the message could not be delivered. Different servers use different methods to provide a nondelivery report (NDR); It may be in the displayed part of the DSN or sent as an attachment (often with the *.dat extension), or you may need to see the message source to find. Looking for a line beginning Code of diagnosis.

  If the NDR is an attachment, open it with Notepad to read. If you do not see a nondelivery report anywhere, select the DSN message in the list and press Ctrl-F3 to reveal the source of the message. Look carefully for the Code of diagnosis in a section called something like Content-Type: message/delivery status. If you do not understand it, post here if someone can help you interpret.

  I have a Blackberry 9700 on Orange, with the package/package of correct data and problems with receiving emails on this subject.

  Clear your registry BIS database is very well, otherwise you get no emails. So chances are its some type of problem, or a problem with your network.

  I would try a traction battery on your device while you are away from home (or with disabled WiFi) and see if that gets it

• Problems with sending some e-mail from abroad.

  Please bear with me on this problem as I am not very intuitive in regards to the accounts. POP, etc. etc.

  I have a system Windows 8 and use the BT Internet to send messages without any problems. But today I tried twice to send the same e-mail to a gmail account in America with two clips of very small size but in a few minutes, he returned with an error message stating that the e-mail could not be sent my e-mail address and to contact my ISP (BT). I have in the past received emails from that same address with no problems.

  I contacted BT and they checked my system and everything works fine and there is nothing else they can do, I can send other emails to colleagues in the United Kingdom without any problem.

  My wife sent a test message to the gmail address, and it was received without a problem so I'm assuming that the fault lies somewhere on my PC.

  I had some problems charger abroad and had to use a charger of mash-up the top of a friend. The charger has ended up working but finally died and also killed my macbook with it (do not start or accept the charge of a new charger). The battery indicator still works. I had checked it free of charge from abroad and the iStore has stated that it is from a broken logicboard. I've already replaced the laptop but I would like to recover the hard disk or files, because they have all my pictures and videos of my year abroad with my girlfriend. I'm not really worried to recover the laptop, just files or hard drive.

  Are these messages SMS (Greens) or iMessages (blue). If they are the SMS, you need to talk to your carrier that SMS is strictly a basic function. They are iMessages, to have an active data connection to send messages. Is it?
