• Consolidate and transcode problems

  Hi all. I try to use the project manager to consolidate and transcode some sequences sequences. I receive undeclared "Clip could not be transcoded audio only because output file format doesn't support A / V. This is true for all cases, I used only the sound from a clip. These clips are mostly 1080/30 p of a Canon C300. I use the 1080 p 30 DSLR sequence preset (except Adaptive audio tracks - not standard). Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  Are you transcoding to the MXF format? This warning occurs when transcode you in a format that cannot not only do audio (MXF OP1a, DNxHR/DNxHD MXF OP1a). If you export a clip, you will see the same restriction. Your clips will be even transcode, but they will be transcoded has / V. Your consolidated project displays only the audio, however.

  If you want to transcode audio only, you can then choose a format that supports that. for example: QuickTime.

  I use first to create trailers and other equipment for a game studio. For the record, I use dxtory ( http://exkode.com/dxtory-features-en.html ), with the first/AE allows you to change the images and SOUL for rendering. A project may consist of several hundreds of GB's worth of the source footage. When made with a given project, historically I used method 'trim' first since the project manager to store copies ready images - as it is intended. This can turn a project with 400 GB of source down to a cup which is only 80 GB or more. This has worked well in the past, but because of the recent change to the new feature to "Consolidate and transcode", this operation will fail when the current creation.

  I created a full repro this for anyone who would like to try.

  I'm using Project Manager, select the following options:

  This should lead to a MB avi ~9.9, which is 15 images of the larger video, the panoramic nature views slightly to the right.

  Instead, I get the following message after the end:

  Looking at the directory for this new project "successful", the size of the file is the same as the source of the layer and without cropping footage actually occurred.

  This method worked 100% reliable before the new feature to "consolidate and transcode. It seems to be quite broken in the current one, at least for my purposes. I forgot something, or is this a bug? I am currently having to install an earlier version of first trying to work around this problem, but this obviously isn't the solution.

  You receive this warning as the selected Format (DNxHD MXF OP1a) does not support your combination of the size of the image, frame the combination of rate and on the ground. For example, DNxHD will support sizes 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080, while your source file is 1280 x 800.

  Try using a combination of Format/Preset that will support your settings of the source file. For example: Source of game (Mac) ProRes or CineForm Match (Mac and Windows).

  The sound on the DVD I burned in still suddenly falls to almost inaudible--but only when played on a DVD player! The problem does not occur on a computer (well in the first, still and DVD sounds good on all players like windows media, real player, etc.).

  Drop noise happens in the same place, about 40 seconds in the 1/2 hour video. Then, the sound blasts at full volume for the end credits I inspected the 2 audio tracks in the first and track volumes do not change, nor my knots of volume control in the securities themselves explain the problem.

  Why it would sound good in all applications on a computer, but not on a DVD player... and why the first 40 seconds would sound good on the DVD player?

  I could hear volume of 'regular' dialogue in the left and much softer, but not absent, in the right. I can't guarantee this isn't an artifact on this end.

  I think you have solved the audio problem at first. Looks like you have a stereo audio track from a source who had a microphone in a single channel. Instead of panning, "fill right" (or left, I always have to check myself on this) so that you get the dialogue on both sides.

  I don't think that you dismissed a phase problem. But I suspect that when solve you the problem of the track, your audio will be correct.

• Problem of transition on the stills and titles

  Many pieces of music with audio clips native

  Everything went great, all transitions, the stills and the titles look good in the timeline panel. Everything looks good in the single file avi export of PP1.5 as played with windows media.

  As soon as I import the avi in 1.5 still to the author of the DVD, a few transitions between still images or titles get blurred. It happens about 3 random transitions on maybe 50-100 of them. Sometimes a (fade) transition effect is involved, there is sometimes no effect. An example is 2 stills or adjacent titles to each other with the same duration. After the import still watering durations and the second yet or title flashes for less than a second.

  Any ideas? Other than this problem this long and complex video is flawless.

  It is an old chestnut, but only if your version of reminder is lower than CS3.  Uncheck the "Optimize images" in the first sequence (project?) settings and export settings.  Then re-export your first timeline.  Make sure you save it under a different name than the existing exported .avi file.

  EDIT: In the project settings, optimize stills is the tab of keyframe and rendering.  Ditto for the export parameters.

I was wondering if I start a transcoding in all connected as one user, can I switch to a different user account to run and then switch back to the user account that still transcoding without doing damage to the transcoding?

  I don't know multitasking many here is interested in doing this as well.

  I still installed from the package CS6, as can be read using Adobe. If I want to import get PP projects now an error message (German version) - see annex of the photo. All other formats of files can be easily imported.

  You cannot import projects CC in again because there is no integration between Pr CC and Encore CS6.

  Dynamic links between Pr CS6 and Encore CS6 only excist.

  You must export from Pr with mpeg2-dvd or BD H.264 and import these files into yet.

  My PC works normally for about an hour, then it slows down to a possible status quo.  I have to restart to make it back to speed, once again for about an hour.  I tried a F10 recovery at first upward and get an error message "Stop: c0000218 {Registry file failure} the registry cannot load the hive (file): \systemroot\sysstem32\config\securt or its alternative ofr journal.»  It is damaged, missing, or not accessible in writing.  I tried the recovery F10 with the recovery CD and received the same error message.

• Help with 3.5 hour, 2 video disc with still and Premiere Pro CS6?

  I need to publish a DVD 2 disc set (with menus on both discs), because the final length video in Premiere Pro CS6 is about 3.5 hours. In the past I just sent my large video file to an editor, and they put my file on 2 discs. But now I'll be self-publishing and the need to know what is the best way to create my DVD. I have Encore CS6, but cannot find a way step over the images between two discs. What do I have to split the video into Premiere Pro, then send it to yet? Or export the file in full size/resolution of the PP and it is separated into yet?

  And what settings should I use in PP and yet?

  BTW, I'm on Windows 10, so I don't know if I need Quicktime to DVD (cannot install on Windows 10). Thank you!

  What is the length of the program? Don't forget to use 560/minutes or a bitrate calc to fill as many disks as you can for a better quality, no sense given the empty space (unless the program is less than an hour, then it is inevitable).

• Quality H.264, and transcoding problems after update 7.1

  From the 11/1, my CC Manager was telling me about updates for After Effects, first and Flash, but every time I tried to update, the update failed. (In the error message it seemed to make a corrupt download. He said to try to download it again, but there is no option to do so.)  I found that the main for all 3 Media Encoder update, so today I downloaded and installed the update of Media Encoder 7.1 of the Adobe Web site, and then CC has been able to complete the update of the applications.  Now, when I use me to render a project from creation to the H.264 format, in general, the quality is terrible, and all files mp4 in the project get returned under a white green.

  Is there a way I can uninstill and reinstall just Media Encoder without uninstalling all CC?  I built a large number of predefined values of rendering and stuff in first and AE and I just do not want to have to go through the records of the app and find all this garbage to save.  I'm on Windows 7 Enterprise x 64 with a Quadro 4000.  I tried the only rendering software and it's the same thing.  Export directly from first instead of worked me like a charm.

  I solved the problem by downloading and installing the Premiere Pro and After Effects patches from the same place as the Media Encoder update.

• Still and surround sound 5.1

  I just finished a project in adobe cs6 first pro and the dynamic link to create a dvd in Encore. The project was carefully mixed in 5.1 surround, but the DVD is released in stereo. I can't figure out what I did wrong. Someone out there who can help? Thank you!

  You cannot use dynamic link with material 5.1. You need a dolby AC3 digital file in the first use of the Surcode encoder and an Mpeg video file. These you can then bring in yet.

• Still and Premiere Pro

  OK, first time with Dynamic Link of the PrP in yet. I burned a DVD and now a few questions. It is a DVD of 11 minutes with no chapters (just from the beginning to the end). It looked very good! (Very good quality).

  1. I now want to make a change or two in first and have effective in yet--just make the change in the first, or what?

  2. I have a menu, but it appears at the beginning of the year - once it is played once. How can I configure it so that it shows at the beginning and go back to the menu at the end?

  3. I don't think that the "end" or "Timeline" is correct, but have no idea how. (I can't help here too useful menu, although I tried to solve it myself). Suggestions?

  4 is there any point in affecting more than 192 to Audio bitrate? I put it to max, 448.
