Still images by default

I keep changing my default image again to 120 because I want that everyone still duration to 4 seconds - but after each photo that I add to the timeline by default back to 150 (or 5 seconds by nature).  I don't want to have to change each of them each time that I add-someone ' can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?  Thank you very much!

Welcome to the forum.

The only time where I have seen a such behavior was when the user did not have full administrator rights, this creation could not write these Edit > Preferences > General > still Image duration, as required. You run as administrator?

Good luck

If I open a new project I can go to preferences and change the default duration of still images and when new is added to the timeline that they correspond to the value that I set.

But I have an existing project, when I go to preferences and change the default fixed images for her, remains in about 6 seconds, ignores any changes I've made.

    Thoughts?

The preference of Edit Menu/preferences/general for still Image default duration applies only to images imported once the adjustment has been made.

To change still Image duration once again on the timeline, click with the right button on the timeline again, select Time Stretch and always set the time again for that in the duration field in the Time Stretch dialog box. You can do this for a single file or several files at once. For more than one at a time, select (all at the same time) stills involved, click anywhere in the selection, select Time Stretch and set the time yet in the Time Stretch dialog box which will apply to the entire selection.

    Hi Cheyenne,

I think that you go to After Effects. I've never found a preference for setting the default duration for each still that you import.

  • Images by default Windows Store rejects built with Phonegap Build

Recently this year, Microsoft has updated their policies.  PhoneGap Build has updated their servers for including CLI 6.1 +, which opens the options for the config.xml file for different processor architectures Windows, as well as versions of OS now.  Now, there is a problem, I have somewhere in the process.  The problem is a failure to test brand:

There are some images that are respected in the output of the .aspx file resulting of Phonegap Build.  The images in question are images of Cordoba by default placed in the folder root\images of the .aspx file.  No matter what configurations I place my file config.xml, these images are not being replaced, so the .aspx still has no presentation.  I tried these parameters:

Here is the structure of the app:

As you can see, I tried to place in different places.  I've updated the config.xml file each time.  I tried these permutations different config.xml:

    "< icon src="icons/windows/StoreLogo.scale-100.png "width ="50"height ="50"/ >

    "< icon src=www/icons/windows/StoreLogo.scale-100.png" width = "50" height = "50" / >

    "< icon src="res/icon/windows/StoreLogo.scale-100.png "width ="50"height ="50"/ >

    "< icon src="www/icons/windows/StoreLogo.scale-100.png "target ="StoreLogo"/ >

At least if Phonegap Build has not generated from these files, the application would satisfy.  Take not that I have a set of default icon and splash screen.  These settings especially for my default settings changed not the generation who spent (a few months ago) before the update to their servers for support of Windows 10 GBP.  The resulting app generated at that time there was the screen icon and correct boot for all platforms.

How do I configure BMPS to create an application that will pass the requirements of Microsoft or remove .png files in the Archives of .aspx, under pics which are the images by default of cordova dislike Microsoft.

I submitted this as a bug.  It was addressed quickly and BMP substitute for now all images, as expected.

  • Still image duration in Prem items 11 (Win 10)

    Hello

I have a number of 1290 x 1080 still images on my calendar and will add more. Once the slideshow has completed, it will be followed by a clip of 1290 x 1080 PAL.

I am currently having each image in the slideshow, which all have a fade in and fade out, to last for 5 seconds each. Is it possible to select all images and setting their 5 second duration equal?

I see this in the preferences:

    Preferences.jpg

If I highlight each image on the timeline by holding down the SHIFT key, I choose 'Still Image default Duration' in preferences? If so, I do not know what that 150 frames is equivalent to the screenshot above. As I say, I'm looking for an equivalent period of 5 seconds.

    Thank you.

I think that we must consider the drive specifications.

But, as I said, there are cases where for compatibility reasons, disc needs a folder with the folder VIDEO_TS and first Elements Audio_TS offers only the VIDEO_TS folder.

But let see if drive specifications will help define the problem of reading.

Play DVDs on Mac - good reading of DVD on standard DVD player or Playstation

Image format - incorrect image tool large horizontal black Bars

Vertical - top of the picture cut off

First of all, I'd do the widescreen dvd.

I would like to start with a normal of 1920 x 1080 1.0 and progressive.

  • Export still image - not all effects arising

I created an image in Photoshop but wanted to get the effects of shadow/light/depth of After Effects. So I imported the layers looked up it all together with lighting / different depths/shadow/etc. I will now rendered on a single image, and so I now have a photoshop/TIFF/JPEG. I go through the steps: COMPOSITION > SAVE AS... I get the file and whenever I open the flat file in photoshop, the shadows that were great in After Effects is now matte black shapes.

So I lose the effects that I created in After Effects... anyone know how to keep these when I go out for a still image?

Well, your preview of the model is clearly at a reduced size, which could easily mean that at full resolution exhaust you all the resources, leaving no place for the soft shade cards. Check the settings of MCRO--> advanced shadow map size and use a value lower, fixed, not the size of the default model. Also check your render settings and to use "Best settings" and not OpenGL...

  • Rotating still images in a video-help please!

Hello, I have the Adobe Premiere Elements 10 mounting system, and I am currently working in a summer project. One of the things I want to do is to create a video from still images, but I'm having a problem, because the images I chose and increased their time line look too choppy, but I want more flow-ey look. What would be the speed or duration of each image? There are other effects that can help to achieve my photo video yet? Also, I'm ready to other suggestions, others have to make a smooth surface, still video image. Thank you!

    Neweditor16

I wasn't sure of my schedule for later this evening, so I'll post an example scenario, assuming that you have first Elements 10 Windows 7 64 bit.

    1. place your 10 each to 3680 x 2760 pixels 4:3 pictures in the order of the sequences in a folder on the desktop. No need to resize them in advance ONLY if your Windows 7 is 64 bit and not 32 bit and your RAM installed is greater than 4 GB.

    2. open the first items 10 and set the project preset for

    NTSC

    DIGITAL SLR

    1080 p

    DSLR 1080 p 30 @ 29.97

    3. go to edit Menu/preferences/general and remove the check mark next to the option "default scale to frame size".

    4. then, use Get-Media/files and folder to your desktop folder in the field of the Organization/media. Then drag the whole folder not open early in the editing video track 1. When you do, your 10 photos will be on the Timeline in the order that you placed in the folder.

    5. click on Photo 1 to select. Then go to Properties Palette/Motion expanded Panel and the Scale property. Set the scale to 52.6%.

    6. go back to the Timeline and click 1 Photo to select it. In the Edition Menu, select copy. The other 9 pictures (all at the same time), and then select right

Click anywhere in the selection, select and click Paste attributes.

    7. to give a time-lapse effect on your 10 photos, you will reduce the duration of each photo. You don't want to deal in seconds, rather the frames (frames 1 to 5 0.033 to 0.165 seconds in a 30 frames per second is set up).

    a. first we look at the effect with the length of 5 frames photo... Select all photos of 10 all at once... right click anywhere in the selection, and then select Timeline Stretch. In the Time Stretch dialog box, change duration of 00;... 00; 05; 00 (5 seconds) to 00. 00; 00; 05 (equivalent to 0,165 seconds 5 frames) Note the effect Timelapse which is performed after you restore the timeline content by pressing the Enter key to get the best possible overview of the chronology of the contents read in edit box monitor.

    b. If you are not satisfied with 'a', the repetition, but this time change the duration to 00. 00; 00 03 (3 images equivalent to 0.150 seconds)... Note the Timelapse

effect that is performed after restore you the timeline by pressing the Enter key to get the best possible overview.

    c. If you are not satisfied with the 'b', then repeat, but this change of time in the lowest possible value 00. 00; 00; 01 (1 Executive equivalent to 0,033 seconds)... Note the effect of Timelapse obtained after restore you the timeline by pressing the key ot GET Enter the best possible overview.

See what it looks like. For now, I would not bother with transitions. More than one placement of transition both can be done by selecting all the photos using Timeline Menu/Apply default Transition. But, with these pictures of short duration, I would need to think about changing the default transition duration.

And I don't see in pans and zooms with short duration that are used.

Here are some Timelapse basic ideas in Premiere Elements.

First Elements ATR troubleshooting: PE: Time Lapse video Basics

Notes: To select more than one clip at a time, you can hold the SHIFT key and click each photo. Or, you can use the trick of mouse cursor to draw a rectangle around the photos to select them.

I'm trying to set the default duration of still images in 7 seconds, but it's always stays at 5 seconds. I'm on a timeline of 24 fps and I updated the image length 168 images. It will not however Ministry. What I am doing wrong?

The default duration for still images is defined in the preferences (general).

If you have already imported photos and you want to change the duration right in the project window, select the stills, right click and change the duration.

Now you can add them to the timeline.

If you already have pictures on the timeline, and they are the wrong duration, you can change a whole bunch of them at once with the ripple tool change like this:

  • After that effects CC - export still image

    Hello

I've recently upgraded to CC. I am trying to export still images as a jpg after effects CC

CS 5.5 (and earlier versions) allowed me to use the shortcut ctrl + alt + s to add the current image of the render as an image queue fixed.  I would then change the format through the output module.

The same shortcut in CC opens a dialog box with the psd as available output format only. Composition > save image as > file... also of the results in format psd with no other option.

Is there a simple process of simillar to export a jpg image again via the render queue?

    Thanks adavance

    scott_travers wrote:

There seems to be a few unnecessary changes.

However I solved that myself, if you click ok in the dialog box and with the exception of the psd format, it adds to the rendered quene where you can change the format. No idea why there are no other options in the "Save as file...". ' option, only PSD.

This is the expected behavior when you have never made a model of a newly installed version of AE. He worked this way since at least AE 6.5 (the old version I installed on a computer nearby to compare). The output module must have a destination for the file, so when you call the Save as file for the first time it brings up the Save as dialog box. For the same reason, if you add a model to the queue of rendering directly it will not make until you set a destination.

After the first time you create an output with a destination module, AE will remember the default used in last and who use without asking you. The only time that suits you, it would ask you is once again if you destroy the AE preferences or last used location is no longer valid (deleted the folder, disconnected the drive, etc.).

The reason why the only selectable here is the PSD format is because that's what uses the OM by default to save as a file. You can and should change that, if you always use a different format. Go to Edition > templates > output Module. Create a new model with your desired settings and assign it to the default image.
